After about ten minutes of idle chatters, Natalie's expression suddenly became serious.

"Alright. As much as I love to flatter myself, I don't believe one bit that the great young master Zach would come all this way to see me just to discuss the Academy's opening next week."

As a business woman, Natalie was far more shrewd than those from her age group. Although they were all Academy students, Zach usually related with a different clique. Back at the Academy, their interaction was normally limited to simple nods or "good mornings". Yet today the other party had gone out of his way to engage in a ten minutes long conversation with her.

- He obviously needs something from me.

Zach was just about to reply when he noticed that Natalie's glass was empty.

"Spence. Why don't you refill miss Natalie's glass and step out from the room for a bit?"

"Yes cousin." Spencer who had been loitering at a corner in the office, grabbed the half full bottle of champagne from the mini bar, proceeding to respectfully pour a bit into Natalie's cup.

If Jedidiah or any other students from Blue Prep School were to stumble upon this scene, their jaws would definitely drop. Spencer no longer had that haughty and confident mannerism that made him the number one Boss of all Bullies. Instead, the Bully was reduced into a submissive cup bearer and judging from his expression, he didn't seem to have any dissatisfaction with the arrangement.

Only after Spencer exited the office did Zach's expression become serious as well as he cut right to the chase.

"I need your help."

...

Thirty minutes later, Zach and Blaire left the Phoenix Baron office. From their blank expressions, it was unknown if their little trip to Bendels Fashion Store was a success or not.

Natalie was just about to place a call to her personal masseur when the door to her office opened as a familiar figure walked in.

"What is it now? didn't I instruct you to clear out my entire schedule?" Natalie's expression became dissatisfied as soon as she noticed Mitch's presence.

"Hmph. Aren't you just being lazy Miss Natalie? what if the Boss finds out that you're slacking off.. again?" Mitch shook his head.

The public knew the Phoenix Baron as a talented fashion designer whose designs were fiercely fought over. However what many people didn't know was that the Phoenix Baron was actually a young lady who despite her talent for fashion design, hated the corporate side of the business. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but Natalie also happened to suffer from a serious vice.

- She was addicted to gambling!

"My Uncle won't fault me this time. After all, I was in a meeting with the future young master of the Miller Clan.. which just happens to be the fourth richest powerhouse in the entire world. Forget faulting me, my Uncle might even reward me." Natalie clicked her tongue before glancing at the wall clock in the office.

"Have the limo prepped."

"The Boss forbade you from going to Senbon Lavish Thrills remember?" Mitch warned her solemnly.

"Don't worry. That casino is no longer under my radar. Zachary just happens to be hosting a soiree back at his penthouse. Apparently it's a get - together for all students of Shakespeare Academy before the new Academic session begins next week. He invited me. Surely my Uncle won't fault you if I left, right?" Natalie smirked.

- Knowing what kind of parties Zach throws, Natalie was confident there was going to be a myraid of "speculative" ventures she could pool her money into.

"Tch. Last year Zach was a good for nothing whose only passion involves whoring around. Now he's become a simp for that self righteous b*tch. Does he think getting into her pants would solidify his status as the Young Master of the Miller Clan?" Natalie scoffed.

- The b*tch in question was obviously her referring to Blaire. The same person she just had a pleasant and friendly conversation with an hour ago.

"Speaking of the Miller Clan, I happened to have ran into two interesting individuals.." with an amused smile, Mitch proceeded to recount his encounter with Jedidiah and Chuck.

"Honestly I think the Miller Clan has sunk so low. Now any random Joe can claim to be it's young master."

"You idiot! You sent them away?!" however contrary to Mitch's expectations, he received a serious lashing from Natalie.

Without even exerting much pressure, the empty glass of champagne she was holding got crushed into dust particles. However that did little to satiate her anger.

"Let me ask you Mitch you moron. What is our organization's forte?"

"We are the number one information hub in the entire city?" Mitch replied unconsciously.

"Didn't we just receive news that a young man was brought into Lady CeCe's Villa? Lady CeCe had a daughter who didn't marry into the clan. Lady CeCe is at the end of her life and suddenly a young man barely in his twenties is brought before her? do you even need to do the maths?!"

"Lady CeCe has a grandson?!" cold sweat began to unconsciously slid down Mitch's back.

Who in the entire city didn't know the living legend herself? The Miller Clan was known as the number one Clan of Elites in the entire Continent and yet she had single handedly succeeded in unifying the entire clan and gave no room for rebellion.

Not only was her business acumen top notch, her abilities as an Elite were unrivaled. There was once a time when she engaged in a battle with three Gold Core Elites and ended up victorious.

Gold Core! Attaining this level of power, a single Elite with a single gesture could wipe out an entire country off the face of the map!

"We both know that although Lady CeCe has now been reduced into a paper tiger, she's still a ferecious tiger nothenless. And you just offended her grandson."

"T--Then should'nt we support the Vanderwaal family? they are the only one with the means to compete with Lady CeCe." Mitch suggested, still reeling from panic.

"How about neither? for a decade and half, Lady CeCe completely monopolized the resources of the Miller Clan. As her sole Heir, those accumulated resources now belongs to this grandson of hers. If I'm not mistaken, they make him worth hundreds of trillion. Getting in business with someone like that would benefit our organization greatly."

"As for Zachary. The resources he has at his disposal cannot even compare since the Vanderwaal family even after taking the administrative reins, still needs to consider the other families within the clan as they distribute clan resources. However the current Patriarch of the Vanderwaal family is still a Diamond Core Elite. Offending someone like that won't bode well for the organization."

"So what do you suggest we do?" Mitch had finally put a lid on his earlier panic. Although Lady CeCe was a terrifying existence, the organization behind him were not push-overs either.

In the face of this question, a scheming smile tugged across Natalie's lips.

"We're going to Lady CeCe's Villa right now. When there are two dragons in the mountain, the Hunter just has to pit them against each other and patiently wait to reap the spoils."

He actually didn't mishear him the first time but knew about his identity as the son of Captain Hughs. So why-- "Yep. How many times am I going to answer that question?" Jedidiah clicked his tongue. "Maybe you've got too much dirt in your ear that is obstructing your hearing?" The realization of the situation slowly dawned on Darwin. Realizing the hesitation around him, fear finally began to creep in Darwin's heart. With a slight tremble in his voice, he let out another scowl. "You useless bastards! If anything happens to me you all will be spending the rest of the year at the 30th Precinct. My father is Captain Hughs for pete sake!" Following this sharp exclaimation, the receptionist who were previously attempting to watch from the sidelines, suddenly felt a chill run up their spine. This snobbish brat was actually the son of that Captain Hughs?! Who in the entire city didn't know about the 30th Precinct?! Rumors has it that amongst it's roster of Martial Police officers were sadistic Elites who were deeply instilled with the discipline of upholding the law always. Like sharks, they always seemed to easily locate signs of criminal activities before its roots could spread within their jurisdiction. Of all the 70 Precincts spread across the City, the areas under the jurisdiction of the 30th Precinct were la

The entire lobby descended into stunned silence. Whether it were the receptionist, the bystanders and even the victim himself, they were all stunned at the slap. However, the palpable silence was soon shattered by this simple sentence. "You should thank your lucky stars that I held back. You won't be so lucky the next time you demean my parents." Jedidiah could barely contain his temper whenever his deceased parents were involved. Even back at at Blue Prep School when he didn't have the system it was the same. The only few times he ever tried standing up to Spencer's antics were usually always when his family were the topic of the discussion. This snobbish stranger would've been spared the public humiliation even if he continued talking smack about Jedidiah. But extending that disrespect to his deceased parents? that was obviously crossing a line! —[You have trolled Darwin Hughs for +1050.. +1050. +1050] x5 Darwin had finally come back to his senses and along with it came the

"Excuse me?" Jedidiah's gaze snapped towards the direction of the earlier statement. "Hmph. There is no point faking it. Even my stewards have far better taste in fashion than you. Did you think that just any random miser can afford to dine in the prestigious Velvet Rose Garden?" The speaker was a young man in his early twenties. Clad in a two piece branded suit with an expensive pair of shoes wrapped around his feet, the culprit exuded a snobbish air of superiority that was further accentuated by the luxury watch donned around his wrist. Noticing the confused manner the hypocritical miser was looking at him, Darwin snorted in contempt. "You would only end up sullying the establishment with your presence." Releasing a snort, Jedidiah impatiently snapped. "Although I have no idea why that is any of your concern but except you are the owner of Velvet Rose Garden, I doubt you'd be able to bare anybody from dining there." "Y--You!" tongue-tied, Darwin Hughs found himself unable to m

Navigating the spacious manor building in Lady CeCe's Villa, Jedidiah was left with disappointment when he discovered that apart from himself and the handful of maids he encountered along the way, the entire Villa was devoid of any other living soul! By the time Jedidiah finished his involuntary tour, he was left reeling for breath. Even after he asked all the maids, they all ended up giving him the same monotonous reply — The Madame was out, and Mr. Chuck went along with her. "I wonder where they are right now?" Jedidiah bemused to himself as he arrived at the gazebo behind the Villa's garden. Making himself comfortable on the lounge chair under the gazebo, Jedidiah thought back to the abrupt call he got from Natalie — The other party actually wanted to have drinks with him. However due to being preoccupied with his plan to protect Ayanna and her father from the Skyfall gang, Jedidiah ended up declining her offer. He was now beginning to wonder whether he should accept. Anyways

"I really don't know. But I suppose that sort of scenerio isn't completely unlikely." "Why are you asking me all this?" Dalia directed a puzzled look at Jedidiah's direction. The last question was oddly specific — Almost personal. "I'm just curious." Jedidiah forced a smile. At that moment, Ayanna just happened to have finished sorting through the mess in the cafe. Arriving before the table, she exhaled in an exhausted manner. "I apologize for the embarrassing scene earlier on." "There's no need. The delicious pancakes more than made up for it. Your dad is a really amazing chef." at this point, Jedidiah was a bit tempted to have Ayanna's father work for him. Being the head of Lady CeCe's kitchen would definitely pay better than what he was getting from this cafe anyways. "Actually I am the one who made the pancakes." as she made this confession, Ayanna's cheeks flushed red. She was like a housewife whose husband just praised her talents in the kitchen. "Just like I suspected
