Renee was coming clean to Arran… meanwhile, in another part of the universe away from the Etherium, Applebee entered a bar located in the busiest street of a small colonial world.

All around them, many Aeth citizens could be seen going about their day like it was any other. Each of them minding their own business without paying heed to the empty bar on the side of the road.

The sun was just rising on the horizon, and it was too early to be drinking. The bar was mostly deserted except for Applebee and the barkeep and one other patron, who lay slumped on the table in a corner of the room.

There was a litter of empty bottles strewn around the table and on the floor. Unfinished booze spilled from the mouths of overturned bottles, causing the rancid smell of alcohol to fill the air. The barkeep who was cleaning his station ignored the mess in that corner of the room like he didn’t care. But Applebee, on seeing this, frowned hard and quickly went over.
