Now it's time for me to test my magical abilities.
(What should I do?)
I pointed an ordinary wooden stick at the target and said 'somewhat magic' towards the stone, but strangely the stone was burning with fire, and the inviligator immediately assessed it. The question is, who shot at the stone? It wasn't me for sure, but looking closely, someone with red and long hair on the roof did it, only I didn't get to see his face.
(Is he trying to help me? Is that Eva? whoever it is, thank you very much for helping me)
"Sorry sir" I said
"Yes?" said the inviligator
"I can't do it" I said
"Are you not satisfied with that magic??" said the examiner
(didn't he see there wasn't a magic circle I took out from my wand and didn't see someone shooting him from the roof? But what was the person on the roof helping me for?)
"Now, all of you return to the hall and wait for further instructions" said the inviligator
"Understood"
As soon as my group and I got to the hall, I looked briefly at the roof of the building earlier, but I didn't see anyone there. As you all know, I can't do magic because Eva never teach me, so I plan to study magic once I've been accepted as a student at this school. If about the reason Eva lied to me, I'll ask Eva after the announcement of the test results. That's my current plan.
When we arrived at the hall, and it was already evening. All the inviligator had a meeting beforehand and asked us all to wait for the results of their meeting, and we waited for them until it was almost midnight. Many of us were noisy because of the length of the meeting being held by the inviligator.
(Why is it taking so long? Even though I want to ask Eva immediately)
After waiting a long time, they finally finished their meeting. They all immediately walked to the stage of the hall and stood there. When all them were standing on the hall stage, one of them stepped forward as the representative. The representative is the processor who was my inviligator earlier. The professor said.
"Thank you all.. for taking this test. We apologize for the lengthy discussion we were having. I as a result of this announce 20 people who meet the qualifications into this school" The professor said
Everyone was nervous about the announcement.
" If I am chosen I will get married" said A
"Don't make flags like that idiot" said B
"number 1 is Platina Cheilos right?" said C
"isn't it Vanessa Scarlet, huh?" said A
"You idiots, take care of yourselves first, right? What if you are not selected?!!" said B
"my father would be furious." said A
(Yes, that's correct. I can't worry about other things that I don't know whether I will be selected. The person on the roof did help me, but I still don't know the score I got from the practice test)
For example if I get a 100 on the written test but 0 on the practical test, then the two scores will be added and divided by two then, it becomes 100+0=100:2 = 50, my score will be stuck at 50, and result in me not passing because the minimum score must be 70 which means I have to get a score on the practice test which is 40 so my score will be 140:2 = 70 even then my name is likely to be eliminated by other people because there are lots of chances for people to get 70. So at least my magic test score is 80 and above. If that happens, my name will likely be safe, especially since I was helped by the person above.
(Thank you, good person ….)
Then, the professor continued his announcement by saying.
"Everyone listen!" said the professor
After he said that, many ignored his words because the hall was very noisy, and to break up the atmosphere, the professor raised his wand and chanted a spell.
"ርክብ ንፋስ (Wind communication)" he said while pointing his wand up.
After the professor's magic had been completed, the ceiling was suddenly filled with wind that cooled the room. After that, the professor said
"Okay, now you can hear my voice clearly, so we will continue with the calling of the chosen people and the people I have called according to their ranking. Whoever is called, please come forward," said the professor
(please call my name)
"Platina Cheilos"
Clap clap clap (sound of applause)
"Vanessa Scarlet"
Clap clap clap (sound of applause)
(Of course they were first)
It turns out that what I was afraid of really happened, so my name wasn't called from start to finish. I don't know why. Did the professor knowing I couldn't do something magic? I don't know.
(EVA)
At first glance, this is all EVA's fault. Because he never teach me magic and lied to me that magic can only be learned when I12 years old. Plus she as the principal, has the authority to do so. So this is all
EVA's fault.

Chapter 1: Part 71
Gia stepped into her private room with graceful yet emphatic movements. At the doorway, Fred stopped. He turned and gave a sharp stare that seemed capable of freezing the blood of anyone who dared to approach."Anyone who crosses this line without my permission will have their status in this church destroyed. The Saint does not want to be disturbed," Fred's baritone voice echoed coldly down the hallway, ensuring that the order could not be disputed. As soon as the thick oak door closed and locked, the atmosphere in the room changed completely. The warmth of the morning in the Basilica was nowhere to be felt here. I took a deep breath, letting the holy aura I wore as a "mask" in public melt away, replacing it with a much stronger aura of authority.I activated The White Fragment of the Philosopher's Stone inside my body. Instantly, pure and cold mana pressure radiated from my chest, enveloping the entire room. In this room, I was no longer just a Vatican Saint; I
Chapter 1: Part 70
The first morning sun of 1889 began to slip through the cracks in the velvet curtains, creating golden lines of light on the marble floor. I blinked, feeling my body much lighter after a very deep sleep. When I turned to the side, I found Fred still fast asleep. This was a rare sight; usually he was the first to be up and standing beside my bed in his neat cardinal's robe. But this morning, he looked very different from usual. His face, which usually looked stern and authoritative, now looked calm and relaxed in his sleep.I smiled slightly, then began to tease him. My fingers moved slowly, playing with the tip of his nose, then moving on to caress his slightly rough cheek. Fred groaned softly in his sleep, his head moving slightly to avoid my touch, but he didn't wake up. I laughed softly without a sound and returned to playing with his eyelids, rubbing them gently with my index finger.Slowly, Fred's eyes opened. He blinked several times, trying to gather his
Chapter 1: Part 69
My footsteps echoed on the long, cold marble floor of the Vatican corridor. The heavy outer robe now enveloped my body, making my every movement feel stiff and formal. Fred walked one step behind me, his red cardinal's robe sweeping the floor with a rhythmic swish. As soon as we left the private residence wing, the relaxed atmosphere of the egg tea vanished, replaced by the sharp scent of incense and the tension hanging in the air.The two nuns trailed far behind, while along the corridor, the Guardians stood at attention with their spears, saluting as we passed. I took a deep breath, adjusting my expression. Slowly, the teasing, lazy Gia disappeared, replaced by the majestic, cold, and secretive Saint."Remember, Gia," Fred whispered very low, almost inaudible to anyone but me. "Hold your energy until the last hymn. Don't let them see you tremble."I didn't answer, only gave a small nod that was almost invisible. We entered the inner balcony area that fa
Chapter 1: Part 68
Night, Vatican city, 31 December 1888 AD As the year continues, I am currently drinking a famous Asian beverage. People there call it egg tea; they mix tea and eggs and stir them until smooth. Even when mixed with milk, it makes the taste stronger. (Drinking this before the big annual event relaxes me from all the tasks I have been working on.)The annual major event at the Vatican is the Vigil and Te Deum, a sacred ritual in which all the time that has passed is summarized in one grand prayer of thanksgiving.Behind the tall windows of my room, the silhouette of St. Peter's Basilica stood solidly under the dark night sky. The cold December air crept in through the marble cracks, but the warmth of the porcelain cup in my hands was far more powerful. As a Saint, the burden of prayers from thousands of people seemed to weigh heavily on my shoulders tonight. I knew that church officials and important guests had already begun to fill the pews below, awaiting my presence as their interme
Chapter 1: Part 67
"Why are you just silent, Oz?" Claire asked in a calm but emphatic voice. She didn't yell, but gave him a look that demanded honesty. Oz's prolonged silence began to feel unnatural to her, as if an invisible wall had suddenly separated them.Claire folded her arms on the table, maintaining her dignity even though the atmosphere in the inn was getting tense. She realized that every second that passed without an answer would only deepen the doubt between them. To her, Oz's current calmness seemed more like avoidance than just a thought process.(His attitude is very strange. What is he really thinking behind that mask? Did my question touch on something that should have remained hidden?) Claire thought to herself.Meanwhile, Leo, who had been explosive, now showed a drastic change in behavior. He no longer interrupted with curses or anger. Now he just sat stiffly with a blank stare, as if all his energy and emotions had been drained in an instant for no apparent reason.Claire glanced at
Chapter 1: Part 66
Holmes leaned forward until his shadow covered the dull wooden table. He ignored Leo's trembling fist and Claire's scrutinizing stare as she sat stiffly in front of him. The talented detective's focus was entirely on the mysterious figure in the black cloak."So, Oz," Holmes began provocatively. "Let's talk about last night at the Guild. You managed to pull that red fragment out of the receptionist's body, didn't you? Moriarty... a consciousness capable of splitting itself. Now you must be able to sense all of their presence in this city."Oz remained motionless, but behind his mask, he felt the constant pulse of the red energy he had just assimilated. Holmes was right; he was now connected to a vast network of consciousness, but everything felt like a thick fog that was both confusing and suffocating."I can feel their presence," Oz's voice was low and echoing. "But there's a big problem. Thousands of consciousnesses are scattered evenly at the same time. I don't know which one is rea
