Chapter 27. Insatiable Hunt

Stepping backward restlessly, Lunasha's eyes were shut.

"Lunasha? What's going on?" Miss Danielle asked with both astonishment and curiosity gleaming in her green eyes.

That lady in black was already close, gritting her black pointed teeth, with blood flowing down her flaming eye sockets. She swiftly raised her claws to strike Lunasha who let out a spine-chilling scream that shook the classroom.

At this instant, Miss Danielle had sprung from her chair, pushed her table forward, and in a fit of panic ran to Lunasha while other students were marveling over the sudden strange scenario.

"Hey! Hey, Lunasha?!" However, before Danielle could reach out, Lunasha had fallen heavily with a loud thud, banging her forehead hard against the floor. "Oh, my God! Oh, my…Lunasha! Oh!" Danielle exclaimed in anguish.

All of Lunasha's classmates immediately left their seats and clustered around the pale-looking Lunasha who was bleeding profusely on her forehead, nose, and mouth.
