Chapter 26. The Psychic's Nightmares

The terrifying shadow was swiftly gliding after Lunasha as she was scurrying to her room. Breathlessly, she dashed into her room, shut the door, and ran to her bed. Sobbing, she pulled up her huge blanket to her mouth like a shield. Her eyes were gleaming with fright and curiosity as she was gazing expectantly at the door. She'd forgotten to turn off the lights in the hallway…not that she even had an atom of time to spare when that monster was coming after her poor self.

There was a horrendous storm outside as thunder was striking randomly and the near gale was blasting wildly.

In a split second, she noticed a black shade under the door like someone was standing outside, and this drove fever down her spine as she trembled. Despite the storm, she felt like someone was banging on the door. It sounded loud enough.

"Mo…mom?" She said beneath a quivering breath.
