CHAPTER FIVE

The man didn’t stop at kissing and pressing himself against Isabella; he started unbuttoning her shirt.

 

Alex couldn’t hide his anger; he frowned and looked very furious. He made an attempt to go to the car, but then he paused.

 

He took a deep breath. He assured himself that this wasn’t the first time he had found her cheating. The first one was from the hotel room, the second one was inside the boutique, and now it's inside the car.

 

Alex remembered how she treated him like an outcast. She gave him unforgettable scars on his body and also flogged him every time she was upset. (She actually gets upset every day.)

 

“Maybe my feelings for her don’t matter; she actually wanted me dead. I think I should let her go. The only way I can make her pay for this is by taking everything that makes her happy and watching her fall on her knees, pleading for forgiveness.” Alex assured himself

 

Alex waved at a taxi. The taxi took him to a company that deals in cars. One of the most popular companies, which produces the best cars in the country, is also a rival to Isabella’s family’s company.

 

The taxi dropped Alex in front of the company. As he stepped down from the taxi, he stared at the huge building, which looks just like a skyscraper.

 

“ANDERSON TECH” He read what was written at the front of the building.

 

“I think it would sound better as Cavin Tech,” Alex chuckled.

 

The thought of buying the company crossed his mind. Although he knew that it wouldn’t be an easy ride, The cost of the company can be almost a trillion dollars, or approximately nine hundred billion dollars.

 

 

“Maybe I should give it a shot.” Alex chuckled.

 

“Hey Sir, which of the cars would you like to purchase?” One of the workers rushed over to Alex.

 

Alex stared at him. “They are quite different from the rest.” Alex thought. He was surprised to see a worker being so respectful to him despite his attire.

 

“I don’t want to purchase a car. I want to purchase the company.” Alex declared.

 

“What?!” The worker shouted.

 

“Yes, you heard me right. I want the company. How much do you think it can cost me?” Alex turned to the worker.

 

The worker was dumbfounded as he stared at Alex from his head to his toes. The worker tried his best to be respectful. He didn’t want to mock Alex for his attire.

 

“Sir, it isn’t done that way. Our company already has a successor. I don’t think they need a CEO. If you would like anything else, we have a limited..”

 

“No, I don’t. I need the company! I desire everything about the company. I can purchase it right now. Let me meet the board of directors.” Alex said that as he stared around the company, he took a step forward, but the worker blocked his way.

 

“Sir, I don’t think you’re okay. The bandage on your heads shows you were just discharged from the hospital; why don’t you go back to the hospital? I don’t think you’re done with your medications .”

 

Alex pushed the security man out of the way. He didn’t care about anything the worker was saying. The only thing he desired most was the fact that the company was in great competition with Isabella’s family company.

 

The worker fell to the ground and groaned in pain.

 

Alex walked into the elevator. Although he didn’t know the office of the board of directors, he thought it would be on the last floor. He pressed on the last floor He waited patiently in the elevator.

 

Arriving at the last floor, he walked out of the elevator with a sense of confidence. Everyone seems to be busy in the company doing one thing or another. There were ladies carrying files around the office. Alex tried to stop one to ask about the office of the CEO or the office of the board of directors, but he shrugged it off. It would be better for him to find it himself.

 

Alex walked through the doors, reading what was written on each door. He has already found the office of the executive, but the CEO would be better.

 

“Finally.” Alex sighed as he pushed open the door for the CEO. He stormed into his office just to find the CEO making out with a lady who seemed to be one of his workers.

 

“What?” Alex frowned as he saw the sight. He quickly covered his eyes with his palm.

 

The CEO was surprised to realize that he hadn’t closed the door.

 

“Oh my god.” The young lady trembled in fear as she quickly buttoned her shirt and ran out of the office, leaving her shoes behind.

 

The CEO stood up immediately and placed his palm on his forehead.

 

“Who are you, and what are you doing here? How dare you barge into my office this way!” The CEO yelled.

 

Alex walked around the office, staring at the multiple awards the company has won.

 

“Is this what the CEO does with its employees? I guess this company needs a reformation.” Alex turned to the CEO.

 

“Young man, tell me what you’re doing here! You need permission before you enter my office!” The CEO yelled.

 

 

“Well, let’s get to the point. I’m Alex, and I desire to acquire the company, and I would also love to meet the board of directors. We’ll start the reformation of the company as soon as possible, and you would be sacked first.” Alex declared confidently.

 

The CEO was dumbfounded. He stared at Alex from his head to his toe for a few seconds.

 

“Young man, did you lose your sense? Or did you run out of the mental hospital because I can see the bandage on your forehead?" The CEO laughed.

 

Alex placed his hand on his forehead.

 

“Actually, I got into an accident, but that doesn’t matter right now. Let’s get to the point. I noticed that the company already has over fifty billion dollars in debt. Ican pay it off, and the company would be mine.” Alex declared, taking a seat.

 

“You would pay all the debts of the company? Hey, gentleman, it doesn’t work that way. If you can pay off our debts, I can make you marry my single sister, and you would also be a shareholder of the company, but I can’t give it all to you. It doesn’t work that way.” The CEO replied, folding his arms.

 

“Anderson right? That seems to be your family name; I would call you by that. You can also call me Alex. What do you think would happen when I revealed to everyone what I just saw right now? Don’t you think this would be a huge scandal and the investors would demand your removal from office?” Alex asked with a serious look on his face.

 

Anderson heaved a deep breath as he placed his hand on his hips.

 

“Don’t reveal to everyone what you just witnessed. It’s usual; it happens in almost all companies,” said Anderson.

 

“Wow, you seem to be a womanizer.” Alex chuckled.

 

“Mr. Alex, stop. It’s enough. Promise me that when I give the company to you, you will make me the highest shareholder." Anderson stared at Alex furiously.

 

“Maybe I should think about that.” Alex chuckled.

 

“Okay, then. You can come back to the company the day after tomorrow and pay off the fifty billion dollar debts and other things that would be required of you. The board of directors would consider your qualifications for the title of CEO. I’m tired of this company anyway.” Anderson said, staring out of the window.

 

Alex stood up from his seat.

 

“That being said, see you in two days, and also, I won’t reveal your secret of making out with the female workers during work time, but don’t trust me; I can reveal it.” Alex smirked.

 

Anderson turned to Alex, staring at him furiously.

 

Alex walked out of Anderson’s office. He met the female worker who was with Anderson earlier. She bent her head, but Alex ignored her.

 

Alex was able to acquire the limited edition car, which costs about two million dollars, and a mansion, which costs about two hundred million dollars.

 

The mansion looked very exquisite. It already had furniture inside the house and an elevator. It looked more like a penthouse.

 

Now, Alex was done acquiring everything he needed. It is time to shock his in-laws and make them bow down to him, asking for forgiveness.

 

Alex put on his tuxedo and shoes and sprayed an expensive perfume. He curled his hair into a better position, and now he looked more handsome than ever. He looked just like a character walking straight out of an anime show.

 

“I’m done. Let’s go make them regret it." Alex smiled.

 

 

Alex turned to leave his room, but then the hologram appeared.
