Chapter 79 : Cat

The old man stared at Niyad like he was a lunatic and what a coincidence, he never felt more like a lunatic than he did today.

"How did you find me?" The man finally said.

Surprisingly, Niyad felt no hostility directed towards him, even after he had made such a ridiculous declaration. This encouraged him to be honest with the old man, "I didn't, Lua did." He replied pointing at the beast next to him.

After eyeing Lua with slight interest the man scrunched up his nose then looked at Niyad like he was a pile of dung, "What kind of mad person thinks they can just go around ordering people to sign a soul contract? Your Queen must be batshit crazy."

Niyad: "I..."

He did expect a response similar to what he got albeit a little less vulgar. He wasn’t sure how to respond to the old man, because without any context, their sudden demands did sound ridiculous.
