Harry pulled up in front of his agency and it was a lot bigger than he thought, it had an intricate design that exuded elegance with top-class infrastructure.
It stood out compared to other buildings surrounding it, not because it was flashier, but it just had a unique design, but then again this was one of the more expensive parts of Crestview city. Harry realized only after he arrived that he should have bought something fancy to wear so that he could leave a good first impression. The clothes he wore weren't a reflection of his new man of means status, anyone could easily mistake him for an average bum. Harry exited the car and Rita was already waiting outside to welcome him. When Harry left the car, Rita was surprised that he looked like the average college student and not her new boss. He didn't look elegant or classy and this only made her mistake this as a sign of humility and not the fact that he was just a poor student only a few hours ago. "Good day sir, I have come to personally welcome you to Savour Agency," Rita greeted with a smile but Harry was surprised that this was a genuine smile. She was truly glad to see him prompting him to wonder why but this was an insignificant detail. "Thank you…" Harry said, pausing abruptly as he looked at her name tag. "Rita, are you the one in charge of this agency?" Harry questioned but this only made Rita blush at the thought of him thinking she could hold that position not knowing that Harry was oblivious as to how a CEO should look. "I'm afraid I am not the CEO, Sir. But the CEO has been expecting you," Rita responded as she led the way. "Alright," Harry responded, he didn't know what else to say or do as he was still shocked that this was happening. Harry entered the building and the fragrance that invaded his nostrils sent him into a trance. ‘This place is so fucking fancy!’ Harry thought to himself as he was led to an office at the end of a corridor. "Miss Susan will see you now," Rita said but she emphasized the Miss as if subtly telling Harry she was single. However, Harry wasn't paying enough attention to pick up on this. He was still processing everything that was happening. Harry made his way into the room and to his surprise, there sat a woman in a light blue uniform top with a black shirt just above her knee, exposing a little bit of her thighs in the process with long socks and high heels. But the thing that got Harry's attention was how her shirt was barely able to keep those big melons on her chest in place without the buttons popping off. Harry gulped hard as he stepped inside the room, there was a transparent table separating them. ‘That was an interesting choice,’ he thought to himself. She got up the moment Harry entered, he was officially her boss and what he did to the agency was up to him however this was her moment to show him her vision. "Mr Farrow! So nice to meet you, I'm Susan!" Susan greeted, stretching her hand for a handshake. She was confident no doubt but this didn't scare Harry, he had met women like her at school and at his various jobs and they all had one thing in common, they were all stuck-up bitches. And Harry knew she was no different from them, the only reason she was like this was due to his position and it wasn't a reflection of who she was. “Susan, that's a fine name but I would like for us to get down to business," Harry knew he had to make a strong first impression. "O-Of course, please sit," Susan stammered, she didn't know why but just as Harry knew how important a first impression was, so did Susan. "You don't need to be so nervous, I'm not Count Dracula or anything nightmares are made of," Harry made a silly joke, trying his best to break the evident tension in the air. Susan was embarrassed that he noticed that, even if Harry didn't have the skill granted by the system, he would still have spotted this without a doubt. "I'm sorry, Sir," Susan quickly apologized. Harry thought she was a powerful woman when he walked in here but she was awfully submissive right now. "I have to ask you something that has been nagging at me since I came in here. Why the transparent table?" Harry couldn't hold his curiosity as it was a bizarre choice, to say the least. "The motto of Savour Agency is transparency so this is a literal demonstration that we hide nothing," Susan responded, she knew how corny this sounded but it was a clever marketing strategy. "Ah, that is pretty smart! Now that is how you get the client!" Harry was a little more excited than he should have been and Susan blushed as she didn't expect this enthusiastic reaction from him. If anything, she expected him to point out how corny it was but upon closer examination, this man was way younger than her. She kept her mouth shut as he carefully examined the document before him, thanks to the ability he had gotten from his system, he could remember everything he read almost to a fault even though he didn't quite understand what it was exactly he was reading. He immediately thought of how this would help him during tests and exams. "You know what Susan? How about I leave the technical issues to you, keep running it how you have been running and if you need anything, give me a call," Harry encouraged her and this was the best case scenario considering this allowed her to retain control over the agency without doing much of the work that comes with it. Harry snuck a peak at her chest once again when she was putting away the documents before averting his gaze. ‘Things that big should be a tourist attraction…’ Harry thought to himself. [Savour Agency Status Change: Congratulations, you just entered the top 1,000 promising modelling agency!] ‘Well, not bad I guess,’ Harry thought to himself while exiting the building. He stood and stared at the sign, wondering if he should change the name to something that speaks more to him as he didn't even know why it was called Savour. "Move it!" A voice barked at him from behind but Harry recognized this voice without even turning around. "Alicia?" Harry muttered under his breath.Latest Chapter
Chapter 179. In The Locker Room
Harry lingered inside the club for a short while longer, allowing himself a moment to decompress. He leaned against the bar area, quietly drinking several glasses of water in succession, letting the tension of the earlier meeting ease out of his system. As he stood there observing the space, his thoughts drifted to Mia. Mia was capable, there was no denying that, but he lacked experience. She could keep the place running for now, sure, but this establishment was only going to grow. Managing it long-term would require someone with sharper instincts and more exposure to high-level operations. That was when another thought crept in. This might be the perfect chance to bring Brandon into the equation. But then Harry hesitated. What if Clara was the better option? After all, there was a hard limit to how much a personal trainer could realistically earn, even one as skilled and well-connected as Clara. Bringing her into something bigger could dramatically elevate her financial standin
Chapter 178. Mariko The Messenger
Morning arrived, and even though Harry wasn’t someone who cared much for social media, he received a message from Clara informing him that he had suddenly become well-known.Confused by what she meant, Harry went online to check for himself. That was when he discovered that someone had managed to capture a clear photo of his face.He didn’t dwell on it for long. To him, this was the kind of attention that would die down eventually. Besides, if things went according to the future he had planned for himself, he was bound to end up online sooner or later anyway.Melissa was still asleep, but Harry found himself wondering whether what she truly needed was a complete change of surroundings. He knew he needed to speak to Rhiannon about moving out of that apartment. And if money was an issue, he was more than willing to step in and help.He let Melissa continue sleeping, aware that she hadn’t rested well throughout the night. He had felt her shifting restlessly beside him, turning over again
Chapter 177. Melissa Knows
Harry had given Rhiannon something she couldn’t find anywhere else, and the most important part of it all was that there was no sexual expectation attached. There was no hidden agenda, no ulterior motive. This was simply Harry being a decent human being and offering support to someone who was clearly hurting. When Harry finally made his way back home, the amount of money he had spent that evening didn’t bother him in the slightest. It felt justified. More than that, it had been worth it, because it allowed Rhiannon to open up and let herself be vulnerable around him, something she clearly struggled to do with others.By the time Harry arrived home, it was already well past eleven at night. What he didn’t expect to see was Melissa curled up on the couch, wrapped in a blanket. She hovered in that half-asleep state, drifting in and out of consciousness. From the way she lay there, Harry could tell she had been waiting for him the entire time, worried enough to stay up despite her exhaust
Chapter 176. Terrible Parents
Rhiannon had been a highly impressionable child, and because of that, it was crucial that her early years were built on some kind of emotional groundwork she could grow from. Children like her needed stability, something solid to lean on while discovering who they were. Ingrid understood this better than anyone and did everything within her limited power to provide that support. Still, there was only so much she could realistically do. At the end of the day, Ingrid was not family, she was an employee. Her loyalty did not lie with the children. It lay with the parents. No matter how much she cared for Rhiannon, Ingrid ultimately answered to the household’s authority, and that authority belonged solely to the parents. That night, after witnessing yet another incident that left Rhiannon emotionally shaken, Ingrid made the decision to speak to the parents directly. She approached them with cautious hope, quietly praying that the conversation would end positively. It wasn’t unusual for car
Chapter 175. The Wayward Daughter
Harry slid into the car, settling into his seat as the door closed behind him. The evening had gone incredibly well, and notably, neither of them had touched a single drop of alcohol the entire night. It had been a genuinely good moment for both of them, one of those rare experiences that felt light, comfortable, and real. Slowly, it dawned on them that Melissa had been the bridge that connected their paths in the first place. She was the reason this night had even happened. Melissa had trusted Rhiannon enough to place her around Harry, and at the same time, she trusted Harry enough to let him be around Rhiannon. That trust had made everything possible. Rhiannon found herself grateful that Harry had entered their lives. She had been cautious at first, carrying doubts and internal hesitations, but what Harry had done earlier was something she was absolutely certain no one else would ever do for her, not in this lifetime. That realization warmed her deeply. For the first time, sh
Chapter 174. A Weird Turn Of Events
Harry was out on a date with Rhiannon, and he genuinely hadn’t expected her to bring him to a place this extravagant. The restaurant was clearly high-end, the kind of place where simply booking a table could easily cost more than a thousand dollars.Under normal circumstances, Harry would have been completely swept away by the experience, his heart racing at the thought of someone treating him to something so luxurious. If not for the recent changes in his life, specifically, the perspective and confidence his system had given him, this night would have stood out as the single greatest moment he had ever lived.Even so, he couldn’t deny that it was still a thoughtful and generous gesture on Rhiannon’s part.It was the kind of thing most people would struggle to match or return, and that alone made Harry curious. He found himself wondering how she had managed to come into that much money in the first place. He already knew it had something to do with the show she had been involved in,
