"Settle down class" Mr Alfred's voice sounded from the door before he walked to the desk.

"Scarlett, I heard what happened and I'm deeply sorry for your loss" Mr Alfred said giving Scarlett an intense stare. He was dropping his condolences and at the same time warning her not to disrupt his class.

Scarlett nodded, by this time she had already taken back control of her body.

"You were so cool back there, where did you learn to make a comeback like that?" Maple whispered, she was staring at Scarlett with stars in her eyes.

Scarlett couldn't tell her the truth nor could she leave her hanging, so she just evaded the question.

"Well one learn those kinds of stuff after leaving in Deep D their entire life"

Maple was seriously considering moving when Scarlett flicked her forehead.

"Don't even think about it, you would definitely not fit in" Scarlett knew Maple well enough to know what the girl was thinking.

Unlike other people, Maple was pretty simple minded and straight forward. She spoke from her heart and was a bit naive. Although naive, she was sensible and wasn't like Scott who always spoke without filtering hs words even though they didn't make sense.

"What do you know, you sounded so cool just now" Maple sighed.

"You have a lot to live for, while I only have myself now, so I have nothing to be afraid of..." except running out of money soon, she completed the sentence in her head.

While they were having their conversation, class had already began.

"Last semester I taught you how an enhanced human is different from normal humans. Let's do a quick revision shall we"

Now arrived the moment of truth, the suspense was becoming unbearable as Mr Alfred's eyes scanned the room like a predator looking for its prey, Maple had already excused herself asking for a bathroom break, it was her means of escape and it worked every time.

Scarlett sat alone praying not get called by MrAlfred.

"Lucas tell us what you remember" Mr Alfred finally said making the others sigh in relief. Lucas though was petrified and everyone understood his feelings. In these times, student cared more about combat classes.

"How can for feel happy for not being able to share your knowledge?" Mary appeared all of a sudden and then raised Scarlett's had up.

The others just saw Scarlett raise her hand. Mr Alfred smiled at someone volunteering, Lucas immediately sat down giving Scarlett a thankful look.

Scarlett's face contorted as she glared at Mary.

"What did you do that for?" she clenched her teeth as she glared daggers at Mary.

"What do you mean?" Mary looked confused.

"What do I mean? what do I mean?" Scarlett was so angry she had trouble breathing.

"I can't answer the question, now you put me on the spot, what am I gonna do?" Scarlett snorted barely holding herself from punching Mary.

"That is such an easy question how are you unable to answer it" Mary asked with an inquisitive look.

"You..." Scarlett was speechless she couldn't exactly admit that she was block headed right?

Mary rolled her eyes, Scarlett forgot again that her mind was basically an open book to them.

"Scarlett?" Mr Alfred called.

"Sir" she hated getting attention but now all eye were on her, some curious about what she was going to say while the majority was waiting for her to make a fool off herself, Lucy for example had her eye glued to her.

"Let me take charge" in her moment of despair, Mary's voice was a ray of hope even if she was the cause of her predicament in the first place.

Scarlett wasted no time and quickly switched places with Mary.

"Well are you going to answer the question?" Mr Alfred's tone held impatience but Mary didn't care. She looked at him with confidence that was nonexistent when Scarlett was in charge and then started her explanation.

"The most notable difference between a human and an enhanced human is the presence of the mind space. According to Paul Quakkins, the human mind contains unexplored series of wonders. He said and I quote 'the mind space is an environment for the cultivation of ones consciousness directly in tune with every part of the human body'.

Jackson Junior stated that the overall stats of a full enhanced human is stronger than ten martial artist combined. There also exists various theories about the evolution of ones mind space" Mary stopped, staring at the gawking teacher.

"Did I make a mistake sir"

"No you just broke the poor man what the hell was that?" Scarlett said as her soul appeared outside her body. She had witnessed everything and was very sure Me Alfred would be keeping an eye on her from now on. She sighed and took back charge.

"Scarlett that was wonderful" Mr Alfred applauded making Scarlett sigh in resignation. How was she supposed to leave normally with these souls constantly interfering with her life.

"Well we did not choose to be reincarnated inside you" Scott's voice sounded behind her making her groan in frustration. She always forgot about her thoughts being open to the rest.

"Who knew you where so intelligent"

'I'm not' Scarlett wanted to reply but couldn't. How was she supposed to explain the sudden influx of knowledge then?

The quick glances of her classmates was definitely not helping, she felt like digging a hole to hide inside. Lucy gave her piercing stare as if trying to pry out her secrets hidden deep. One thing was for certain her life was never going to remain the same after this.
