"You're not dead yet are you?" Someone laughed next to him.

"Huh?!" Harith snapped as he tried to sit up and look at his surroundings, everything seemed blurry, but he suddenly felt a choking sensation.

*cough* Harith fell to the floor and coughed his lungs out. After what felt like hours of coughing, he finally got the thing stuck in his throat out. A black burnt object the size of a tennis ball came out of his mouth all drenched in saliva.

"Fucking hell" Harith muttered as he cleaned his mouth and got up from the floor.

"Eh..." To his surprise, three teenage boys no more than fifteen were looking down on him with faces that obviously meant evil.

"You dare look at young master directly in the eye" Harith heard a voice speak before his world got turned upside down. Someone had just hit him...right in the fucking face!

"It's okay, I think he's had enough. Let's leave now" The boy in the middle spoke.

"Ah young master, I'm not sure he's learnt his lesson yet, let's beat him a few more just to make sure" The voice that had spoken earlier addressed the boy in the middle who seemed to hold an esteemed position.

"no that's enough for now, I need to go change" The young master said, turned his back and left with an irritated look on his face.

"Ah young master is as merciful as always" The other of the two boys exclaimed and followed after the young master.

"You dared spill fish water on the young master, count your lucky stars the young master is feeling merciful today." The one who had kicked Harith earlier said in disdain and left. Not forgetting to spit on Harith before he did.

At this moment only three words were on Harith's mind...What The Fuck! The first thing he experienced after reincarnating was getting kicked right in the fucking face!

"Merciful? Fuck!" Harith cursed, spitting out the blood from his mouth. He got himself up from the floor and he could noticed the bruises on his skin and even some open wounds. These fuckers really called this merciful?!

He struggled to get up on his feet and wiped the blood on his lips after. As he stood he could better see the area in which he was. Beautiful trees swayed as they got mesmerized by the passing wind. The leaves of the trees were pink, something Harith hadn't seen before.

Besides the trees one could see various dome shaped buildings which he assumed to be houses, but they were so far away he wasn't sure yet.

His immediate surroundings was a large land filled with sand. Some sticks shaped in the form of a sword laid around, accompanied with some shield. It really wasn't that much telling. He had to find out more.

Harith walked a long distance before he could finally see the buildings well enough, as he guessed they were houses. But what surprised him were the inhabitants, they all had hairs of diverse colours and the hairs were all very long, even the men were no exception. And their clothes were very strange too, nothing like he had ever seen. A mixture of modern and old, he really couldn't make sense of it much.

As he walked some would occasionally stare at him and the sneer or mocking facing would arise on each and every one of them. He wasn't feeling too comfortable.

Finding a glass of mirror nearby he looked into it and his face in it was almost unrecognizable. Well it was still his face but the features on it were top notch, like someone had added a hundred plus beauty points to his already previously handsome face. And to top it all off he appeared very much younger.

A smile crept up Harith's face, The girls here would surely love this.

"Ay get away from my goods you vile thing" a man said and waved his hand casually in Harith's direction. A ball of fire came flying straight at Harith and before he could even react it hit him right in the chest and knocked him to the floor.

A part of Harith's cloth was burnt from the fire but that was the least of his worries. Absolute shock filled Harith's face. That man had just casually thrown a fireball at him and no one in the crowd thought it to be strange...what the hell! He really had reincarnated into a world were magic was thriving!

Taking note of the disturbance he was bringing to the man, Harith left without a fuss. He had to look for somewhere as quickly as possible where he could rest and learn about this world.

...

The sun had set and a lone figure sat behind a tree reading a big book. His face was filled with amusement as his eyes widened. The history of the world was laid right for his eyes to see.

This world was a world where the concept of magic was extremely common to every household. Infact it was one of the most important things to ever occur in their lives. Once an individual reached the age of thirteen, a ceremony would be conducted where each individual would be administered one of the main elements; Fire, water, earth, Air. Fire was the most common of each and Air was the rarest. These elements had their sub-elements but they aren't important as of now.

When an individual awakens their element, a mark naturally appeared on the shoulder indicative of which element was present. Sometimes one would awaken two elements at once, but this was said to be a once in a lifetime occurrence.

After reading all these, Harith immediately checked his shoulder in excitement. Blank! There was no mark whatsoever.

A feeling of terror filled Harith's heart. This really couldn't be happening. No mark? But he was very well past thirteen from what he could see...did that mean he was also useless in this life?! Fuck!

At that moment something rolled out of Harith's pocket. "A berry?" Harith picked it up and without thinking he threw it into his mouth. He was kind of hungry so that was just something to hold his stomach.

"Ahhhh" Immediately he swallowed the fruit it was like someone lighted a fire in his stomach. His throat burned like hell. Harith's face turned bright red and he let out a huge burp.

A stream of fire came pouring out of Harith's mouth. It was like a dragon had arrived on earth and was breathing flames of anger.

The bark of the tree was burnt and the fire spread to it's leaves. This triggered a chain reaction and soon the whole tree was on fire.

Harith look in shock...had he just breathed out fire from his mouth?!

"Oh shit" He didn't have much time to contemplate as one of the huge burnt branches of the tree fell directly towards him. Harith instinctively moved his body and it was like the world flipped over. The tree he saw just next to him was now far away from him.

"What the f-" Harith didn't get to finish as he felt a violent force in his throat begging to come out. A stream liquid shot out of his mouth...he had just vomited his stomach contents.

He kept vomiting for a two whole minutes before he stopped. The strength in his body left him as he fell to the ground. His eyes weakly closed as he fell unconscious.

"Oh Harith my little boy" Harith had a voice speak and the vague face of a woman appeared in his field of vision just before he fell completely unconscious.

....

Eyes wide open. Harith woke with a smile on his face. You might be wondering why he had a smile for no reason...well...he just fucking breathed out fire. He wasn't useless anymore!

"My son" A caring voice sounded as a woman placed her palm on Harith's head. "Still hot" She muttered.

Harith was surprised..."son?" She call him son. Could this be his mother in the world? Or more accurately, the mother of the person he reincarnated into?

"What did they do to you, you have bruises all over your face. I told you not to get into fights" The woman said in a worried tone.

"I'm fine" Harith shook her hand off and responded rather stoically. He wasn't used to this. His mother and father had died at a very young age in his previous life so he was a stranger to parental affection.

"No you're not! Drink this it'll help. As you know the young master's ceremony is tomorrow, we have to prepare the food eh." The woman handed him a cup.

Harith looked for a moment before he drank it. The woman really thought he was her son...

"There there, now rest some more while I bring some food for you okay?" The woman sighed and left. She had a very tired look and her face was all wrinkled even though she wasn't all that old. This was evident that she had suffered in life.

Harith sat upright and checked his shoulder. As expected a symbol of fire was embedded on it. But apart from the fire there was another tiny mark, very easy to miss is one didn't look carefully. It was a white circle with a black space surrounding it. Harith was oblivious to it, all he was concerned about was his fire symbol. He had to test this thing out immediately.

Not being able to contain the excitement, Harith sneaked out of the room through the open window and was on his way to the sand filled land.

The night was bright. The full moon enabled one's sight and it was really beautiful. Some shops were still open but the vast many were closed.

Since he had taken a walk around town in the afternoon, he had a basic understanding of the pathways and had no trouble finding the sand filled land. But as he went closer he could make out two figures under one of the pink trees.

"Brother Chen please stop" A feminine voice whimpered.

"Cmon you know you want this don't resist" A very familiar voice rung in Harith's ears but he just couldn't make out who it belonged to.

"No no leave me alone mmph" The voice became muffled at the end like someone was trying to prevent it from speaking.

Harith ran as fast as he could and he arrived at the tree, a shocking sight he beheld. The fucker who had kicked him in the face earlier in the days was pants down and on top of a girl who seemed like she was struggling for her life.

Harith took no moment to think twice and with a mind of revenge he kicked the guy's head as hard as he possibly could.

"Fuck" Harith screamed from the pain of him own kick.

The sheer power of the kick sent Brother Chen to the ground and the girl was free from his grasp.

The girl immediately grabbed her torn clothes and left the scene.

"ugh" Brother Chen held his head and looked to see the bastard that had interrupted his almost heavenly session. "You useless peasant!" Brother Chen screamed in anger. Of all people that dared to attack him it just had to be the fucking bastard who couldn't even awaken his element! The nerves!

Brother Chen slammed his hands on the ground in anger and he jumped up. In mid air two balls of fire appeared and he kicked them straight at Harith.

Harith was shocked. He was expecting some form of retaliation but he wasn't expecting two fucking fire balls coming his way at a hundred kilometer per second!

The balls hit hard, very hard, like steel. Harith was sent flying and he landed on a nearby tree. He had two massive holes in his shirt, and one could see smoke coming from his chest area.

Blood came pouring out of his mouth like a waterfall. He was beginning to regret having interfered.

"Fucking bastard" Brother Chen cursed. He was butt naked as he walked towards Harith.

Harith's mind became hectic. This guy was way stronger than him. He could lose his mind if he didn't play his cards right.

"Should have just stayed inside with that bitch u call a mom and lived your useless life peacefully. But instead you decide to do this! Do you know how hard I worked to get her to come out her you useless piece of shit" Brother Chen said as he performed his favourite move, a kick right to the jaw.

But wait, the kick didn't connect. Harith grabbed Chen's foot, placed them over his shoulder and tackled him to the ground. Chen was surprised, when did this guy have the nerves to fight back?

On the other hand Harith was just as surprised as Chen was, but for a different reason. The sheer strength in this body shocked him. The ez with which he performed that move, he could never have done so in his previous life. But that's something to think of on another day, he had something to take care of now!

Harith immediately punched as hard as he could. He showed no mercy and went for Chen's nose.

A crack was given off as Chen screamed in agony. He held he nose that blood was readily gushing out of.

Harith had crazy eyes, he felt an insurmountable amount of anger rising in him. He kept punching and punching.

This dude that was holding his nose was part of the group that had assaulted him when he came. The three boys had probably killed the real owner of the body at that time giving Harith the chance to reincarnate into it. Some form of justice should be given to those who have been done wrong. He was a victim of this his previous life, he would not continue to be a victim in this life no!

As the rage grew fiercer, Harith began feeling extremely hot... specifically in his throat. He couldn't control the surge of power and his mouth opened, out came a burst of flames looking for who to devour. In the heat of the moment Harith faced downwards, right on Chen.

Chen looked on in horror as the heat touched his skin. Soon enough it wasn't just heat but an assault of fire. He tried to scream for help but they were far from where the people resided...no one could hear him now.

Harith kept spitting fire like a dragon until exhaustion took over and he could go any longer. He fell over, getting off of Chen's body. Looking tot he night sky it seemed especially beautiful, especially with the stars.

"What have I done...." Harith muttered as he looked to the side. A gory scene next to him. Chen's head had been burnt to the point of no recognition and from the fact that he wasn't moving...he was very likely dead.

This being his first time being this close to a dead person, Harith couldn't stand the sight and he puked. Well he could have found a better place but he puked right on the body!

The first thing he noticed was the smell. The air in the room stank of blood and death, but it wasn't a sweet scent like that of freshly spilled entrails or a butcher's shop. It smelled more like the sour tang of old vomit mixed with urine, which made him think of his mother's chamber pot after she'd been sick for days on end. He wrinkled his nose at the thought and tried to ignore the odor as best he could, though it didn't do much good. His stomach still growled loudly enough to make him wince."You're awake," said a voice from behind him. "That's a start."He turned around slowly, trying not to look too eager. A man sat against one wall, watching him intently. He had dark hair and eyes, and a scar ran across his face just below his left eye. He wore black leather armor and carried a longsword strapped to his back. His name came to mind almost immediately: Captain Rolfe.Rolfe stood up and walked over to the bedside.
