Ariana stepped forward, her face was etched in worry and concern. “Jeffrey, I am the elder’s daughter, and I apologise for what my guest did to Terry.”

Jeffrey knew Davis’s family were not a match for the Long’s family, but not doing anything would ruin his reputation. His ego took over him; his gaze darted from Ariana to Benjamin, who kept a calm demeanour. Jeffrey felt irritated by Benjamin’s audacity, it was obvious that Benjamin wasn’t scared of him.

“Young man, you should go on your knees and apologise to him before something bad happens to you.” He commanded.

Benjamin sniffed as he spoke casually, “I am not in a good mood today; you should stay away from me.”

Jeffrey’s eyes popped in disbelief; his hand curled into a fist. He was beginning to lose his cool. And at any moment from now, this matter might escalate. “What did you just say,”

Benjamin sighed in frustration, “I hate to repeat myself. You should let me be.”

Ariana leaned forward and whispered. “Mr. Scott, you are doing things the wrong way. Jeffrey is a dangerous man, and I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you.”

“I can’t apologise, I didn’t do anything. If there is anyone here who needs to apologise, it should be that jerk; he started it.”

Seeing that Benjamin wasn’t ready to apologise, she turned to Jeffrey, “We can talk about this; how about I call my grandfather, or I offer you money so you could let him off the hook.”

“What!” Terry shook his head in disagreement.

Jeffrey chuckled, “I am afraid that’s not possible, your friend has crossed his line and needs to be dealt with” He paused as his lusty eyes rolled at Ariana’s body. “But there is another way; how about you spend the night with me? I might let things slide.”

Ariana’s face turned red; she couldn’t believe what Jeffrey was demanding. He is digging his own grave. Terry was furious with Jeffrey’s demand, but he couldn’t dare to utter a word as a surge of fear was coursing through his veins. Her body quivered in fear when Jeffrey came closer.

“Stay away from her; if there is anyone you should face, it’s me, not her,” Benjamin said as he rose to his feet.

The other onlookers watched in horror; they wondered what kind of man would walk into his death even when they were trying to pull him out.

“This guy must be drunk?”

“No one in this city dares to challenge Jeffrey.”

Jeffrey could no longer keep his temper in check, he ordered his men to teach Benjamin a lesson. But with the blink of an eyelid, all five men were down unconscious; everyone, including Jeffrey, was shocked.

“This can’t be possible. How did he do that?”

The onlookers rubbed their eyes in disbelief, it didn’t seem like they were dreaming.

Unbelievable!

Ariana’s mouth was agape in shock.

Jeffrey lunged at Benjamin, but he was too fast to sidestep it, and Jeffrey lost balance. Before he could regain himself, Benjamin sent a kick to his jaw. Jeffrey winced, as he fell to the side.

Seeing how the onlookers were looking at him, he felt embarrassed that his reputation had been tampered with, and something needed to be done, or else he might lose his respect.

Benjamin ducked when Jeffrey drove his knees towards him; he kept throwing his fist in the air. While Benjamin was patient, and when the time arrived, he grabbed and lifted Jeffrey with one swift motion.

Then, Jeffrey nodded twice before slamming across a nearby table. Blood streamed down Jeffrey’s face.

“I will kill you.” Jeffrey roared, as he broke a bottle, turning it into a weapon to fight against Benjamin.

Benjamin dodged all attempts, but the swing cut his left shoulder; Ariana gasped in shock.

Seeing the blood Jeffrey let out an evil smirk, “You shouldn’t have started this; I will make sure you don’t leave here alive; it’s a promise.”

Benjamin grabbed a bottle and waited for Jeffrey; just as expected, he missed his shot, while Benjamin shattered the bottle over Jeffrey’s head before he could think or retaliate. Benjamin landed two punches to his stomach and added an uppercut to seal his victory.

Jeffrey was sent crashing into tables; the customers screamed, seeing the most feared gang leader lying helplessly on the ground together with a few of his gang members.

Terry Davis couldn’t stand it. He sneaked out of the hall with his hand still clutched to his head.

“Who is this young man? Is he a professional fighter? Where did he learn his martial arts skills from?” Many thoughts ran through their minds as they kept staring at Benjamin.

The onlookers who underestimated Benjamin were now amused by his skill and how he was able to defeat Jeffrey and his men, but they knew this wasn’t the end; Jeffrey would come after him once he regained consciousness. With what they witnessed, they knew Jeffrey and his gang would not stand a chance.

Ariana walked towards Benjamin, “Are you okay? I can take you to the hospital for treatment.”

Benjamin chuckled, “It’s just a minor cut; I will be fine. Let’s go.”

The onlookers stepped aside with their faces pale with fear.

The restaurant manager rushed forward; his mind was beating in fear but he managed to speak. “You will need to pay for damages. Or I will report it to the police.”

The man trembled in fear, he calculated his losses. If the owner should come, he wouldn’t only lose his job but might be asked to pay for the damages.

“How much is it?” Ariana asked.

The manager stared at the premium furniture, knowing it wasn’t a cheap thing. “$3 million.”

Ariana was about to step away to make the payment when she felt someone’s grip.

“I will handle it.” He intoned with a light nod.

He brought out his black exclusive bank card. The manager called on his staff who came forth with a machine for the payment.

Ariana kept staring at Benjamin, as many conflicting thoughts ran through her mind.

“Who really is Mr. Scott? How did he get the exclusive card? Can he afford the $3 million?”

She was about to utter a word when the manager made a comment.

“Successful.” The manager said.

Everyone was confused, they were expecting Arianna to make the payment a long time ago, but the opposite happened.

“How did this dude get his money? Is he a millionaire in disguise?” someone asked.

“He might have gotten the money from Ariana or her grandfather. How else would he get such a huge amount?” Someone whispered.

“You are right, the long are so rich that they can afford whatever they like.” Another chimed in.

Ariana was stunned but maintained a calm and composed demeanor.

“He not only humiliated Jeffrey and his gang, but he also made payments for the damaged property.” One of the men from the crowd blurted out in shock.

“Could he be a millionaire in disguise?” another person uttered.

He nodded, taking his card from the manager. Then, he turned towards Ariana. ” Let’s go.”

While they were inside the car, Ariana had a lot of questions to ask. She wondered how he was so good at martial arts and healing skills, and also how he got the black exclusive bank card.

“Can I ask you a question?”
