Hours later, Leon and Camila stepped out of the marriage Bureau, holding their marriage certificate.

"Now that we are married, I'd suppose you can move in. I've got enough room," Camila said, walking towards her car while Leon followed.

"Sure," Leon agreed without a second thought. This would only make things easier, and that was for the best.

"I..."

Just as Camila was about to say something, her phone rang.

"Excuse me," She said, forcing a smile before answering the phone and stepping away.

Leon watched, a light flickered in his eyes as he didn't know how to feel.

Though Camila didn't know him and had only met him today, she respected him like a normal human would.

Her treatment was far better than what he had spent with Katie and her family.

Well, that was a thing of the past. Besides, he didn't care about the family anymore.

"Sorry about that," Camila's voice sounded, pulling Leon back to his senses.

"I'll have to leave right now, there's an emergency I need to handle at the company,"

"So I won't be able to stay," She said, getting into her car.

"Here," Camila stretched out her hands, giving Leon another bank card.

"My grandmother is having her birthday party tonight,"

"Get yourself something decent to wear and remember, not to be late. I'll send you the address later," Camila concluded as the card zoomed away.

Leon chuckled lightly, watching the car speed away. Things were getting pretty interesting.

Though he didn't know why Camila had suddenly asked him to marry her out of nowhere, he knew she must have had a reason.

He couldn't care less about that. He also had his selfish reasons, which was why he agreed to the marriage.

Well, that didn't matter. They had agreed not to interfere in each other's lives, so he wasn't too disturbed. Now, all he needed to do was wait for Dark Knight.

The next second, a convoy of black luxury cars pulled up in front of him.

Doors opened in unison.

From one of the cars, a man in his late thirties rushed out of the car, running towards Leon.

"Greetings Void Emperor," The man fell onto a knee, his other knee slightly raised, his hands cupped as he bowed to Leon.

"There's no need for the formalities," Leon smiled, his eyes radiating with joy as he pulled Dark Knight up.

"Master..." Dark Knight nearly broke down again the moment Leon lifted him up.

"Let's get to a safe space first," Leon interrupted, patting Dark Knight.

"Yes, master," Dark Knight nodded and led Leon to the car.

Getting inside, the driver drove away, heading to whatever destination Dark Knight had informed him.

Minutes later, Leon sat on the sofa of a private room in a restaurant. Dark Knight sat opposite, neither saying anything.

"How have you been faring?" Leon broke the silence, asking slowly.

"Master, after news of what happened surfaced, we were besieged from all sides..." Dark Knight sighed as he began to explain; the sadness in his voice could be felt.

"We fought hard and managed to escape with serious injuries. After that, I told the men to go lay low until I called them back,"

"Since then, I've been secretly managing the business you left behind. This time I came to Oakdale 'cause I had a meeting with some of the executives of the companies,"

Leon fell silent, not knowing what to say. Just as he had expected. His enemies attacked the instant they heard he was gone. If it were not for Dark Knight's overwhelming strength, allowing his men to escape, they would have all been dead.

As for the companies, Leon had created many companies and had assigned his men to handle them. Probably, that was what they were all doing individually while waiting for Dark Knight's order.

"Stretch out your hands," Leon commanded after a while.

"Huh?" Dark Knight froze, then smiled bitterly, stretching his hands out to Leon.

He had forgotten. The master was also a medical doctor. He was not just any medical doctor, but one who could either save or end lives with a flick of his needles.

This was also one of the reasons Shadow Reapers were feared. Leon's skills were too terrifying.

Leon's expression darkened the moment he read Dark Knight's pulse. Indeed, he was seriously injured.

His Dantian, though not fully destroyed, was nearly destroyed, leaving him with the strength of a Golden Core Realm, which was a far cry from his peak.

Leon's eyes burned, and his body shook, his aura surged once again. Dark Knight had truly paid a huge price just to ensure the safety of others.

"Master, it's fine, I can always find ways to recover," Dark Knight said quickly, feeling Leon's wrath as he withdrew his hands.

"Don't worry, I have a solution," Leon suppressed his rage, his eyes clearing back as he looked at Dark Knight.

If it was when he was at his peak, this would have been a piece of cake. But now?

It would take a while to fully repair everything and push Dark Knight back to his peak. Also, if Dark Knight was lucky, he could leap far more than his realm by the end of everything.

He would see to it.

"Master, tell me, what really happened to you that night," Dark Knight spoke, looking at Leon.

"I heard you were poisoned,"

"Partially..." Leon confirmed...

Dark Knight froze, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets, but he didn't say anything and just listened as Leon narrated everything.

"Bastards!!" Dark Knight gritted his teeth, veins bulging out of his neck, as he roared.

"Be calm, Dark Knight," Leon cautioned, shaking his head.

He knew Dark Knight was annoyed about what had happened that night. The enemies didn't fight fair.

Well, he would have crushed them if they did. Besides, there was nothing fair when it came to war.

"So, master, what level would you roughly say you're in right now?" Dark Knight asked.

"Ermmm... Let's say the peak of Qi refining Realm."

"Huh?" Dark Knight blinked, his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, not believing what he had just heard.

That was even lower than his realm.

"You don't have to worry, though the seal isn't broken, it's loosening, and alongside some external force, it should break open soon enough," Leon reassured, his eyes also flashing with a glint.

He was also looking forward to the day he would be able to break the seal.

Dark Knight nodded and did not say anything. Now that the master was back, there was nothing to fear. Even though the master's powers were sealed, he was still far more dangerous than anything, and he knew the master best.

"So..."

All of a sudden, Dark Knight's phone rang, interrupting Leon.
