Return of the Dragon Master

Chapter 3

Running out he was stunned to see more unrecognizable faces, his father’s groaning caught his ear.

“Please let go of me.” He gritted in pain, his voice hoarse as he struggled to pry himself off.

Seeing this Lewis’ blood boiled, this was too far and he wasn’t going to let them off easily, his eyes flashed with rage as he clenched his fists.

“Let him be!” His voice echoed, unable to hold back his anger.

“The people dressed in black turned around to look at Lewis, their eyes red with anger while staring at him in disdain.

“Who the hell are you to interfere?” A middle aged man with white shoulder long hair looked at Lewis with a glare.

“Let them go.” Lewis warned again. He caught sight of Max and Melissa glaring at him.

“I thought you know better Lewis, are you back to receive the beating of your life.” Max laughed. The other men were stunned to find out Lewis was back home since they knew he was imprisoned.

They burst out laughing at him unable to control themselves after hearing Max’s words

“That darn loser is back? Who let a criminal lose?”

“I can’t believe he had the guts to show his face here.”

“He even had the audacity to speak to us so rashly.” Jillian, Max's elder brother who was the leader of the group, spoke. “You should know you’re lucky to stand with all your limbs intact, how dare you talk with such disrespect? Considering the fact that you’re also a debtor.”

“Debtor?” Lewis was confused.

“Of course, you owe me ten million dollars and your darn parents have been unable to pay.” Jillian rolls his eyes.

Lewis was stunned at the amount, his parents could take care of themselves with the little money they got from their business so they had so why would not be that they borrowed such an amount and still lived in such poor condition? They can’t borrow such an amount they couldn’t repay.

Lewis realized that what he had known from years ago before entering prison was different from the reality of now, when he had entered the house earlier he had noticed nothing was worth selling anymore, the house had even lost its value. Seeing his parents in such a state broke him.

“I don’t think you’ll be able to do anything about it.” Alaric ran to him and said as soon as he spotted him, he had also come to witness the scene. “These people seem to be dangerous, i’m not sure you would be able to deal with them alone, why don't you escape for a while and come back after they leave.” he suggested.

“Forgive me my son.” His father struggled to talk, blood seeping from his mouth. His son had been through enough already at the prison, he didn’t want him to suffer anymore excuses from him.

Jillian scoffed, taking a final whiff of the cigar and threw it to the ground, stomped on it and  smirked. “You should listen to your father, the adults are handling business here.” He said sarcastically. Smile slipped out of his mouth as he spoke.

Lewis remained in his position, still confused. “Does being in debt warrant such treatment?” He finally spoke.

His father Logan turned to look at him with a forced smile. “Of course, the money was for your mothers treatment so they can hurt me however they wish.”  Logan explained quietly, unable to meet his son’s gaze.

Lewis was stunned, he was sure that the Hillian family had something to do with the price of treatment, as if putting him in prison wasn’t enough, they had hurt his family.

He went over to help his parents and put his mother in her wheelchair, all the while she remained nimble and mute.

Seeing his parents suffer made him boil with rage. “Father please take mom inside, I’ll handle everything here.” 

Logan refused, shaking his head. “You have suffered enough, I can’t drag you into this, I can fix this.”

Gently tapping his fathers shoulder. “You don’t deserve such treatment, take mom on and I will settle this.” He assured his father, nodding his head Logan turned around and took his wife in, quietly praying that his son will be okay.

Immediately his parents went in, the men all attacked Lewis as though they had planned it. “Foolish boy, do you think you’re strong enough to beat us all at once?@

“Kill him!” Jillian ordered the  fifteen men.

They rushed towards Lewis, ready to throw their kicks and punches from all directions so he wouldn't have a chance to dodge them.

Lewis was quicker and was able to dodge very quickly and moved with so much ease, moving so swiftly he was able to swiftly and attack all the men with punches to their gut and stomach, sending them flying and hitting the floor with a hard this, leaving everyone speechless.

“You bastard! Let’s see how you dodge this.” Jillian took off his cost, flinging it to his brother Max who caught it, he lunged towards Lewis, ready to throw a swift punch but before he could make a move, Lewis twisted his knuckle and Punched his belly, causing him to fly and hit the wall, damaging it instantly.
