Revenge of Secret Billionaire Investor

Walls glittering with the sprinkles of designs littered all around them, perfect red carpets and the most beautiful lights dropping down from the sky.

 It was just the dream of a wedding that Louis thought he was going to have with his girlfriend, Jessica.

And to crown his joy, they would be having a child together soon enough. Even though he worked round the clock, and the dark eyes of his finely cut face gradually sloped into dark circles, his joy remained.

"After everything! My hard work is going to pay and we will have the perfect ceremony together! Just like this one." The navigation remained on Louis's lips as he navigated through the halls.

Even though Louis was trying to focus on his job, the sweet sound from the bride yelling I do with so much joy could not keep his ears from hearing it.

"But why does that voice sound so familiar?" Louis thought.

His curiosity forced his head around to see who this person was and immediately his eyes laid on the couples? The cup in his hands dropped in an instant.

"Young Man! Do you have anything against this marriage?" The priest that had already gotten to that part of the process inquired.

"Is this really a wedding ceremony?" 

Louis was taken aback, his jaws still handing in the air and his heart dropping to his legs as he stared at the two people that were supposed to matter most in his heart.

The hot stab of their recognition running through his heart. His best friend, Raul, and his girlfriend Jessica bond in holy matrimony. How ironic.

The revelation was a low blow struck down his guts, snapping him off of the air that he could barely breathe.

This was not how he thought that his reunion with Raul was going to be after he searched the length and breath of the earth for him..

His breath continued to sink down his lungs, barely able to contain the emotions that were welling up through every stream of his body.

Memories of a few months back when Raul had come begging for an investment, assured that it was going to yield an income.

Louis, sure that his friend knew what he was doing, made a seventy percent investment into this new company with his life savings, with the hopes that it was going to yield income.

But the last time that he saw Raul before this pleasant surprise of his Betrayal was to inform him that the investment was a failure, after which he vanished.

His anger mixed with his confusion as Louis flared angry at the both of them.

"Why don't you tell me Jessica! Should I have something against this marriage? Why don't you tell everyone that's gathered here today? How just three days ago you told me that you were going to be attending a wedding ceremony of your best friend? But it turns out that you are the one that is getting married instead" Louis's anger was gradually beginning to sip through and he clutched his already aching hands to control it.

Jessica stared at him. Her face was completely blank of emotion. Not even the slightest linen of emotions. She scoffed, the hatred lined on her face.

"Should I owe you an explanation?" Her extremely cold words cut right through Louis's heart.

"Don't make me look like I'm the dark villain here Louis. You should have seen this coming!" She spat the words, growing like thick spikes only with the intention to rip his heart.

"A cleaner in the same company that I work as a supervisor. You thought that keeping our mistake from the public ears was just because of work policy."

"Sorry to disappoint you. But it wasn't. I was disgusted by you Louis. With your ever sweaty Palms and shirts. Always working so hard while you remain skin soaked in poverty. I have a great future ahead of me and ain't allowing some scumbag to ruin my life. That's why I chose Raul here. The perfect choice. With his blooming company and my intellectual capacities, we would make just the perfect couple." Jessica's evil smirk shined through as she kissed her groom even before the priest said so.

Louis' heart ached at the reason that was thrown at his face. Did she really think that he didn't even have a future ahead of him? She saw that he was hard working and Louis already knew that it was more than this..

He looked at Raul who replied with a sinister smile on his face laced with the proud ego that a victorious person would have over any other person.

"And you decided to choose Raul over me? After everything that we have gone through together Jessica?" He flared, his heart breaking into smaller ripples with every single word that he spoke after.

"I think that you should be more inclined to the word used. I used to be wretched. How do you think that a poverty ridden me was able to pull out all of this? The designs? Do you even realize that I here can feed you for the rest of your life?" he smacked.

"And before I forget! I have not had to give you a proper thank you for helping me reach the heights that I have gotten to at the moment! You know, for the seventy percent investment that you made, it really paid off!" He added once again.

Louis was taken aback with the shock that welled up throughout his body. The stunt that he had pulled off about the investment crashing, it was all a lie.

His heart ached together with his pains, the thoughts about how he had helped this person a lot of times in very different situations.

Times were he was sick. It was hard to believe that he would be betrayed to this extent when the only crime that he had ever committed was caring.

The sinister smile that was on the face of Jessica said it all. She knew about everything that was happening and she didn't even tell him. When she had confessed her love for him quite a couple of times.

"Oh! I see! You are stunned? Too bad that there is nothing that you can do about it! I really feel bad for you. You know! I am not the monster that you think that I am in that pathetic head of yours. 

You were the one that was so trusting that you didn't even try to get any document signed and now, there is nothing that you can do about it because everything is in my name while for the Central Co Enterprise, nobody knows that you even exist!".

His cold words didn't hold the slightest element of remorse. Louis wanted to go over and give him a firm slap on the face but the guards stopped him from doing this..

He was still smiling like he had worn a trophy. And like he wasn't feeling bad enough already, Jessica pulled Raul over to herself. 

For the first time, he was brought into the picture of their perfect marriage, her eyes suddenly switched to one that was filled with so much Love and passion.

One that she had always used to look at him. She stared at the priest only with the intention of breaking Louis's heart even more.

"After this part is supposed to be the you may now kiss the bride part isn't it?" She shot a smack at the priest that was forced to nod.

She looked at Raul passionately until their lips dug into each other in a steaming passion.

Louis was forced to watch until every single thread in his body broke. It was just like he had imagined their day was going to be.

After what seemed like an everlasting moment of torture for Louis, they finally decided to bring their irritating act to a stop.

Jessica was huffing and panting, clearly out of breath at the moment as she stared at Louis's pained face, boiling over with joy in the inside of her.

"How did we do?" She inquired, still trying to catch her breath.

The love that Louis had once used to look at her had suddenly modeled into irritation and disgust. Still in denial that this was the woman that he had once loved.

Disgusting and every word that could be used to describe irritating Louis said.

"I paid for your maternity bills Jessica! I have spent all my savings to make sure that I take care of you and my child. If you have refused to think about me, have you even thought about our child for a moment?"

The sudden outburst of laughter from Jessica got Louis confused. After she was done with her act, she spat on the floor.

"Don't be a fool! I would rather raise a toad than have your child she suddenly replied.
