Franco and Muna had their Marriage Registration done. While still wondering why Muna had married a nobody like him, he received an invitation from her.

"Get ready, you're coming with me to my homecoming party!" She said to him, walking straight to her car.

Did he just hear her right?

"Homecoming party?" Franco asked, walking hastily after Muna.

When Muna got to the car, she put on her seatbelt before turning to Franco.

"Yes, homecoming party!" "My family arranged to announce to everyone about my return and also let them know that I am the new CEO of Scott Empire!"

Hearing this, Franco smiled gently. So, Muna is the new CEO of Scott Empire. It'd be easier using her to deal with his ex-wife.

"Any problem?" Muna asked curiously, gazing at Franco whose face was rather excited than moody. He responded that there was no problem but she spoke up instantly

"Mind you, Franco..." She cautioned "My family is way more influential than you may think. I'd advise you to keep your mouth shut and let me do the explanation!"

"But why?" Franco asked.

"You have to do as I directed, Franco. You wouldn't want to mess with my family. They are more fierce than you think"

"So, stay within your limits!" She concluded and started her engine. As she drove to her mansion, Franco stared at her continuously.

She might be looking at him as timid but she doesn't know whom she married!

When they got to Muna's house, everywhere was already decorated with beautiful flowers and many billionaire guests had arrived.

"I'll take my shower and change up as well. Wait for me, I'll be back shortly..." Muna said and walked away while Franco turned around staring at the beautiful decorations.

The guests watched him carefully and mumbled within themselves that he was too local to attend such a party like this. As they muttered to themselves, Franco heard a familiar voice.

"Look who we have here, it's Franco!"

Franco looked back and saw Edgar, holding Elena's hand and giving him a teasing smile.

Mara was the first to catwalk to Franco, teasing his hair.

"Ohhh, Franco!" She exclaimed, drawing the attention of the guests. "I thought you might be around a corner crying your eyes out. But it took me by surprise to see you in this place!" Then, she changed her tone from mockery to dramatic. "Tell me, Franco, what is a cheap brat like you doing in the party of the rich and Influential?"

"I have no time for your nonsense. I came here on a purpose just like you all!" He responded, trying to hide his anger.

"Excuse me, Franco but we unlike you are here for something big..." Rita spoke up, addressing her newly bought wig. "We are here to receive a very big complementary contract. So tell us, what are you here for? To serve as a Waiter?" She added, giggling instantly. Mara and the others giggled along with Rita, adding more to Franco's anger.

He just thought of giving them a straight answer and walking out as looking at them would just remind him of how much investment he wasted on them.

He attempted to walk out when Edgar spoke up "Where do you think you are going, Franco!"

Franco stopped and turned back.

"This place is not for people like you, so get lost before I call the security on you!" Edgar added, trying his possible best to annoy Franco.

If it were to be Mara and her mother, Franco would have ignored but a LIAR like Edgar speaking to him in that manner, Franco refuses to take such.

"You don't have any right to call the security on me. As long as I can remember, you don't even know the reason behind this event tonight!"

"Excuse me?" Edgar said immediately after Franco, the smile previously on his face disappearing into thin air.

"For the fact that you were allowed into this mansion by mistake doesn't give you the right to speak to me in such a manner. Don't you know your level?" Edgar added and Elena walked out from behind, pointing her fingers at Franco.

"I thought that divorcing you would make your senses come back to you but you keep on proving that you're born to be stupid " "Tell me, Franco, are you so Poor to understand the level and classes you ought to belong to? Do you wish to die?" She said aggressively.

"Exactly my point, Sis!" Mara spoke up, expressing her face more to humiliate Franco. "If I were to be Poor, I'd definitely move with my class, not with people who are Richer than me!"

"Really?" Franco asked, putting his hands in his pocket as he adjusted his looks on Mara.

"You said you would have done better if you were Poor but even while you're rich, you still allowed a Truck driver to impregnate you and deny the baby!" "The worst part is that you even had the guts to sleep with your driver and he impregnated you again which was the reason you took an abortion that made you infertile!"

"So tell me, Mara. Between the both of us, who is more unfortunate?" Franco said, a teasing smile appearing on his face. His statement dropped the jaw of the guests as they couldn't believe that the daughter of the Froston could have done something like that.

Mara, on the other hand, wouldn't stop clenching her fists in surprise and anger, wondering how on earth Franco could know the whole truth!

"Those are lies!" Rita had to speak up on her daughter's behalf. "This useless animal here doesn't know what he is talking about..."

"Really?" Franco cut her off. "If you're so sure that I am the liar here, why don't you allow your daughter to prove me wrong? Why is she staring at me like a dog?"

"I won't allow another word from you against my sister, Franco!" Elena yelled angrily, her eyes puffed out.

"Why are you people so mad after hearing my utterance, am I wrong when I said that your sister is a HOMEMADE PROSTITUTE?" Franco added, neglecting Elena's warning.

Following Franco's last words, Elena angrily raised her hand to slap him but someone clutched it hastily.

"Don't you dare raise your hand on my husband, young lady!"

They all looked and saw Muna!

Muna immediately brought the phone down and ended the call. She glanced up at Franco with a quick, reassuring smile, the kind that looked sincere—if you didn’t know better.“It’s nobody, Franco!” she said sweetly. But on the other end of the line, Michael's blood boiled. He had clearly heard Franco’s voice in the background… and now Muna had the nerve to hang up on him? That simple click felt like a slap to the face. He gritted his teeth, gripping the steering wheel so hard his knuckles turned white.Meanwhile, Franco took a seat across from Muna, eyeing her curiously.“Nobody?” he repeated. “But I just heard you speaking to someone. You even said I’m your husband.”Muna reached over and gently rubbed his hand, keeping her smile warm and convincing. “Oh, it was just one of my aunties—a distant relation. She was trying to hook me up with some guy, asking if I was ready for marriage. I just reminded her that I’m already married—to you.” She gave a soft chuckle. “I would’ve said more if

“Get the car ready,” Muna said as she picked up her bag, throwing a bright smile at her grandmother. “Agreement is agreement.” Granny mirrored the smile. “Alright then! Have a great day ahead!” Muna waved goodbye and walked off. To the old lady, it was certain—Franco had no chance of winning the challenge. It didn’t even cross her mind that Muna would leak the location of the Ruffian Lord to him. And when the thought did sneak into her head, she brushed it off with a smug chuckle. Franco is nothing but a useless animal. He’ll get kicked out by the Ruffian Lord before he even sets eyes on him. Granny had carefully crafted that condition for Muna with one goal in mind: securing a rich, powerful husband for her granddaughter. Whether it ended up being the Ruffian Lord or the influential Eddie Watson didn’t matter to her. As long as Muna was married into money and status, it was all she cared about. Meanwhile, Muna was buzzing with excitement. She knew her grandmother too well. Gran

Hearing what Rita said, Edgar stepped forward, face lit up with enthusiasm. “That’s such a brilliant idea, Mother! Your plan is perfect!”Rita returned the smile, though the sight of Edgar always left a bitter taste in her mouth. Still, he was useful. Edgar never sided with anything that didn’t benefit him. He wasn’t in it for family—he was in it for fortune. He wanted wealth so loud and blinding it erased the memory of his former failures. And hearing Rita’s plan? It confirmed it. Franco's fame was their golden ticket, and Edgar was already calculating the numbers in his head.He turned to Maya. “Think about this, Maya. Your mother’s plan is genius. Did you hear what she said? We’re going to use Franco’s fame to rise to victory again!”Maya’s eyes lit up. “Exactly! You’re right, Edgar! This is the kind of opportunity that will raise our family back to the top.” She hurried to her sister and gently took her arm. “What do you think, sis? We’re going to get rich again—filthy rich!”“Let

Franco’s hand still clutched the gun, his face twisted with rage, but his eyes were glistening—on the edge of tears. The inspector arrived at the scene, dropped to a knee, and pressed two fingers against Dyesi’s neck. Her blood stained the floor in thick pools.“She’s still,” he muttered, then turned to the medical sergeant.“Check on her.”Michael and Oliver gently guided Franco to a chair, helping him sit down. His gaze never left Dyesi’s corpse.“You’re okay now, Franco,” Oliver said quietly, still holding his shoulder. “It’s over.”The sergeant finished checking for signs of life, then stood and spoke to the inspector.“She’s dead.”Oliver gave Franco a firm pat on the back.“It’s all gone now, bro.
