Ethan drove back to his mansion. It was already late at night.

He pulled up in in his parking lot and turned off the engine of the car, then he remained sitting for a while.

Memories of what happened earlier that night flashed in his mind and he closed his eyes thinking about it.

"Why did I do that?" He muttered to himself rhetorically.

But Ethan knew the answer himself. Any time he was alone with Maya, there was this calm that always settled in his mind and made him feel like nothing in the world could get to him.
