Fuck! Fuck!

I can’t stop cursing as I kick Kali’s lifeless agents. This was a blunder, which was too close for comfort. We thought we had everything under control, but we were wrong.

“This was too damn close! What happened Lo?” Tom is yelling at our agent.

She was undercover, it was her responsibility to stall these two until we got here. They were never meant to even reach Jake’s mansion. Too fucken’ close!

“I tried to buy time, Sir, but they were adamant on attacking right away,” she explains. “Joey (AKA agent Paul), was also starting to become suspicious of me,” she adds.

I don’t doubt her capabilities. She is one of the bests. Tom and I personally trained her, like we do all our agents, but this is something we can’t afford to fail in. We failed his parents and have already failed Jake in so many ways, we just can’t fail at protecting him and his family. It’s the only way we can redeem ourselves.
