Chapter two;

He ran to the direction where the sound was coming from but his steps took him a mile in one second, when he stopped, he flew in the air instead. Right now he was in the sky surrounded by the clouds. He took a deep breath, what was going on? A question still popped in his mind.

All he knew now was that he was in a strange place and could fly.

He had no time to think about it and hurriedly continued to the place where the screams were coming from while still in the sky. These were the other survivors, he could find out whatever was happening with him if he met them.He moved at the speed of a rocket.

As he came closer, a sight of monsters showed up in his face. He could still detect them like they were very close. His eyes magnified in a green light zooming them nearer.

They had four limbs in dinosaur shape and were chasing after the people while emitting a flame from there mouth, if it hadn't been for his super sight vision, he would have mistaken them for a dinosaur.

He could see the other supernaturals, that is now he had named them after all until he found out what they really were. They were in different jumpsuits fighting against the monsters on the destroyed roads with the cars upside down  and over each other in between broken buildings.

His eyes fell on Elizabeth who was controlling the fire the monsters were emitting. She looked alot older and more beautiful, if it wasn't for her blonde shiny hair, he wouldn't have recognized her. She was using a lot of focus as she pushed the fire back to the monster and it screamed in agony.

The other supernaturals were moving balls of water around into the monster's mouth to put out fire while the others were destructing the nature of the wind flow,Tonny could feel his balance being threatened from above by most of the wind being pulled to downwards.

He could recognize some of the students from his school with other people he had never met.  The students he had been with in high school had grown older, even older than him since he was the youngest in his high school.

This raised more of his curiosity, he had a lot of questions, How did they end up here? And having superpowers was odd? Perhaps these supernaturals that were fighting on ground knew everything.

What was his superiority amongst the three supernatural elements? Was he a fire, water or wind supernatural being? Tonny questioned himself as he stared at his fingers and tried out the fire while still floating in air.

At first, nothing happened. He then focused and tried out with his mighty concentration and created a bowl of fire in his hands.

A slight smirk showed up on his lips as he moved the fire ball  side to side using his two hands. He was excited about his ability. He could spend more time with Elizabeth now while she was training him to master his ability.

Before he knew it, he was falling from the sky like a ball that was rolling. He shouted out loud, perhaps the supernaturals could help him before he landed on the ground with a bang.

He was over one thousand  miles from the sky. He hadn't learnt how to control his power yet, he had been focusing on making the fireball and forgot to keep his mind focused on the hovering too.

Before he reached the ground, he gained his crisp and slowly landed on the ground.

“That was close!” He murmured to himself as he let out a heavy sigh. Tonny had landed  about a thousand metres away from where the supernaturals  were fighting against the monsters.

He stared at them for a while and he couldn't intervene now that they had already hit almost all the monsters.

There was a supernatural, more muscular than Tonny with black  hair, and a brown handsome face.  He was dressed in a white jumpsuit with a white overcoat.

He looked like a superior there since he was the only one dressed in white.Tonny had never seen him anywhere and he wondered which part of the country he had come from.

Elizabeth had gotten a slight injury on his leg, she was writhing while leaning on the supernatural's back as they walked back.

Tonny was resentful as he stared at his clothes  and his dirty skin. He had to do something about them and couldn't just show up now the way that he looked. He had to wash up and walk up to Elizabeth in a nicer looking way. He had to be a man in his eyes this time around when she met him.

Tonny flew back to town to wash off, it was in a mess everywhere since most of the buildings were on the ground and bricks were scattered on the ground.

He stared around with his green visionary eyes and looked through the walls of the buildings that were still standing until he found a clothing store that had more decent clothes. He quickly thrashed there.

After picking up a red haufu and a scarf, he entered for a bath. It felt like it had been eternity to him since the last time he showered. He closed his eyes slowly as water from the shower soothed over his skin.

He had a lot of questions to ask Elizabeth. How come they have grown so much? How did it happen so fast? Even though he was so happy about it now that he couldn't be bullied by anyone, he wanted to really know how everything came about.

Brushing off all the dirt in his body, he mistakenly concentrated on the drop of water that was dripping from his hair, the rest of the water that was flowing from the shower froze.

His eyes widened as he moved water balls around in a circular motion, he realised he could control water too. A twinkle  filled his face, he wished those that had bullied him, Jasper and Pele were still alive, they would pay for their sins now that he had got some power.

After brushing off all the dirt on his body, his eyes got stuck on the glowing light in his chest. He slowly touched it but didn't know what was really behind it. Maybe every supernatural being had it, he shaved a part of his beard and threw on his clothing grabbing a scarf too.

A beam couldn't leave his lips as he found out he could control more than one element and as he had watched earlier, a supernatural only controlled one element.  This was going  to be more fun than he thought it could be.

The moment he got out of the clothing store,a cold chill ran down his spine as raised  his eyes and they fell on the monster that he sensed from the moment he stepped outside. How it found him was a question. But right now, he had to deal with it.

He stared straight into the monster's eyes and concentrated to try and control its mind. Supernaturals always had different kinds of powers and he was determined to try out each one of them.

The monster attacked him directly instead, throwing him to the ground. Turns out he didn't control minds as well as he thought he could. This was bad timing for him.The monster blow was a strong one that it took him moments to get back on his feet.

The monster moved to where he was, opening its mouth to throw fire at him. He was still struggling up the ground. Before he knew it, the fire was blown to the other side with a great force. If he was still weak like back then before the earthquake, he would have fallen to the ground.

It was Elizabeth that had saved him. She was in a yellow skinny jumpsuit that displayed her curves completely, from up close still, she had grown older  and had become more beautiful. There was no doubt in that. With her being closer, Tonny was immersed in brown eyes that lighted up.

“Why ain't you with the rest of the natives? It is dangerous to walk around.” She helped him to stand up.

“Elizabeth!” Tonny called out. He was wondering why she was here yet she had just injured herself.

“How did you know my name?” Elizabeth asked, staring at him. Tonny gave him a confused look. She quickly brushed it off. Since she was one of the most active fighters, most of the natives in the Shelter knew her. Maybe that is why the gentleman that she had just rescued knew her.

They walked slowly as Tonny had been injured, he was still wondering why Elizabeth was treating her as a stranger no matter the countless times she had saved him before the earthquake. He had to make sure she wasn't just avoiding him.

“Am Tonny! Tonny Walker.”  He said out loud.

“Which type of Mage are you, Tonny?” She asked.

Tonny now realised that Elizabeth didn't recall him at all and perhaps she didn't recall the past too, he had to find answers on his own without her help.

He recalled what he had observed before, the mages only had one power and he couldn't raise any suspicions in her now but still had to confirm his findings.

“Can any mage have more than one power?!”

“No way, do you?” Elizabeth replied giggling.

“No, no I was just curious!” Tonny spoke blankly. Was he special? Why would he control two elements? Was there more to him? All these questions were in his mind.

“Oh! Non-mage, I couldn't recognize it since you're dressed so expensively. You don't need to be embarrassed about having no power at all. You were almost destroyed by the fire the monsters threw at you. You couldn't defend yourself. It's completely okay to have no power at all.” She turned, holding his hand now.”I will help you back to the Caudy Shelter.I always do my surveys in the evening to help out the non-mages that have survived the bait. We should hurry back since it's getting dark. ”

Tonny didn't know alot about being a mage and all that, he couldn't say anything more until they got to the Caudy shelter and learnt how everything worked there.

Elizabeth's eyes then got stuck on Tonny’ chest as she raised her eyebrows.

“What is that lightning up in your chest? Are you a god?”
