Ch 36: Guard captain of Lindow

The captain takes a look at the elf and the human girl for about a minute, not getting any impression from either of them right at the moment.

Yet his men had said they caught a certain person they were meaning to find.

"Put the bodies down on the floor and tell me your names, so I can know who you two are in front of me."

The Were-fox man tells Ethon and Corina as the two bodies lay out on the floor.

"My name is Ethons sir."

"And I'm Corina."

Learning both their names the captain gets up from his chair walking over to the front of his desk to look at the bodies lying near it.

"My name is Ned, captain of the guards of the town Lindow. The people here are under my protection and I take my job seriously."

He then turns to face them while receiving a deeper look at the Were-Fox man's features closer.

His one almond-shaped white eye is like a lotus blossom while the left eye has come to be damaged from an attack completely losing the ability in its sight.
