But of course, Joe Maiden was not going to let that happen.

He immediately asked for permission to go out and stop the chaos.

"Mr Alfred, please don't make any noise!"

Alfred immediately took offence. "Joe Maiden. How dare you say that to me!"

"Sorry, sir. I'm not like that." Joe was still being polite.

"Not like that? Then, what is this? I just wanted to meet my nephew. Why am I banned from entering?" Alfred hissed angrily.

Joe replied quietly, "Mr. Brian is currently receiving guests, sir."

"I'm his uncle. Shouldn't he prioritise me over others?" Alfred girded his loins, glaring angrily.

"Mr. Brian is unable to see you today, sir. But, he has arranged a meeting with you," Joe tried to calm Alfred down.

Alfred snorted loudly. "When is that?"

"Chloe Lawrence will contact you shortly for a time." Joe Maiden turned to his young master's secretary.

Chloe nodded in understanding.

Alfred actually couldn't wait to see what his niece was like. However, he certainly could not be rash. If he made a stupid decision, he could end up with nothing.

"Alright, then I'll wait for the news."

Alfred left the floor dissatisfied.

Meanwhile, in the room, Brian Jones' concentration had been broken.

"Mr. Damian, I think that's enough for now." Brian chose to end his meeting with the managing director.

Damian quickly excused himself and left Brian with just Joe.

"What happened?" Brian couldn't resist asking.

"Mr. Alfred insisted on seeing you, Young Master. But, I already told him that you will see him later."

Brian sighed. "Why would he want to see me?"

"Anyone would want to meet the person who stands in his way, Young Master."

It made sense. Brian knew that all too well. Alfred Jones regarded himself as an intruder to gain control of his grandfather's wealth.

"So, when will I meet him?" Brian who realised there was no way he could buy time.

"When you are truly ready, Young Master."

"The day after tomorrow." Brian answered without hesitation.

Joe Maiden was a little surprised when he heard it. "Are you sure, Young Master? You really don't need to rush."

"No problem. Sooner or later, I'll have to see him, right? So, why I have to delay it?"

Joe Maiden bowed, "Then I'll tell your secretary, sir."

"Hm."

Brian thought for a moment and suddenly said, "I'll go to the college tomorrow."

"Why did you suddenly change your mind, Young Master?" Joe asked with an astonished expression.

"There's something I want to make sure of." Brian chose to keep it a secret first.

Actually, he might be able to ask Joe Maiden for help in investigating the accident that killed his grandfather.

However, for now he wanted to do it himself without any interference from other parties.

The next morning, Brian asked Joe Maiden to bring his old belongings from the house he shared with his grandfather.

Without hesitation, he put on his tattered shirt and faded jeans.

Joe Maiden asked in surprise, "Young Master, why are you wearing your old things?"

"Because I still don't want to tell them." Brian replied as he rolled up the sleeves of his shirt.

All the servants and bodyguards were momentarily surprised by the appearance of their young master returning to the way he was when he entered the house. However, none of them dared to ask.

"Where's my bike?" Brian asked when he couldn't find his bike in the car park of a collection of luxury cars.

"I didn't find your bike, Young Master. Do I need to buy you a new one?" Joe offered.

"It's early in the morning, how is that possible?" Brian frowned.

Joe smiled in response, "Anything is possible, Young Master. You are Young Master Jones. Whatever you wish for will come true."

Uh, Brian forgot about that.

"Alright, then buy me a bike that exactly matches my old bike." Brian ordered.

"Yes, Young Master."

"But, it won't take that long right? I have to go in in an hour."

Joe shook his head firmly, "Only ten minutes, Young Master."

Brian was a little hesitant but he waited anyway.

Exactly ten minutes later, a bicycle of the same brand as Brian's old bicycle was delivered to J-House by a courier.

"Ten minutes really. You did great, Joe." Brian praised.

Joe asked again, "Do you want anything else, Young Master?"

"Nothing. I'll call you later." Brian replied as he started to pick up his bike.

Although very anxious, Joe couldn't do anything about it. He could only send some of the house's young bodyguards to watch over his young master on campus.

After arriving at the campus, Brian immediately went up to the fourth floor.

However, just as he got out of the lift, he bumped into Edward Stein who was walking along with his former lover, Diana.

Diana looked uncomfortable looking at him but Brian didn't care. All he cared about was Edward Stein who was smiling crookedly at him.

"Wow! You're still alive, Brian! How marvellous!" Edward stared with a mocking gaze.

Brian pushed Edward, forcing Diana to move out of the way.

"What the hell are you, a loser? Want to fight with me, huh?"

"If so, so what, are you scared?" Brian replied without any fear.

Edward Stein giggled with amusement.

"What did you say, scared? Edward Stein is afraid of a loser like you? Are you dreaming, Jones?"

Brian spat to the side, "If you're not afraid to fight with me. Then why, at my grandfather's funeral, did you tell people to beat me up?"

Edward's smile slowly faded from his lips. "You talked too much. What do you want?"

"My wish? To drag you to hell, of course."

"Don't dream!" Edward Stein retorted fearlessly.

"Come out now and let's prove it. Who is the coward here. You dare?" Brian asked while squinting.

Edward Stein looked surprised.

"Why are you silent? Can't you fight? Can you only tell your men to protect you?" Brian scolded.

Seeing Edward's stiff expression, Brian was now convinced that Edward was actually a coward.

"I have no business playing games with you, loser!" Edward moved away.

However, Brian did not let up. The young man held Edward's arm.

"Let go of me!" Edward shouted.

Of course Brian didn't let go. "You, must come with me!"

Brian grabbed Edward Stein by the shirt collar so he couldn't move freely.

"You ... who are you to force me? Damn you, Jones!"

Brian Jones glanced at Diana, who was silent. The girl was clearly frightened.

Brian said, "You can report this to security or the police, Diana. I wouldn't mind."

However, Brian heard Diana say, "I ... won't report you."

"What? Diana? What do you mean?" Edward looked shocked by Diana's words.

Not only that, Diana even said again, "You can take him away from here, Brian. I'll keep my mouth shut."
