Chapter 1: The Beast That Shouldn’t Be
Chapter 1: The Beast That Shouldn’t Be
"What kind of bullshit ending is that? An open ending? Are you fucking kidding me?" Ryan slammed his phone down onto the bed with the frustration of a man betrayed by fiction itself. "He had all the girls lined up for a harem and still chose none? Coward. Absolute waste. Every single one of them was perfect!" The device bounced like a dying fish on the sheets before flying off and smacking the wall with a nasty crack. Ryan’s heart plummeted. "Shit—no, no, no!" he cried, leaping toward the bed in panic. As he lunged, his shin collided mercilessly with the sharp edge of the wooden bed frame. "FUCK!" he yelled, gripping his leg as an electric jolt of agony shot through his entire body. Unfortunately, the pain was just getting started. As he instinctively lifted the injured leg to protect it, his balance faltered. He hopped three times on his left foot, then slammed his bare pinky toe into the iron leg of the desk. "You absolute bastard!" he bellowed, tears springing to the corners of his eyes. His body twisted mid-fall, flailing like a puppet cut from strings. In that split second before he fell, Ryan saw the jagged edge of his desk, quietly waiting to rip him apart. 'Why is my luck always shit?' was his last coherent thought before everything went white. Not black. Not nothingness. White. Blinding, searing, divine white that swallowed the world. "W-What the fuck?!" Ryan jerked backward, shielding his eyes. His body reacted before his mind could catch up, stumbling as his eyes fought the searing light. He was surrounded by teens, lined up in rows like students—or maybe new recruits. They were staring straight at him. "What did he summon?" "Look—above his head! Is that...?" Ryan blinked, confused by what they were saying—until it hit him. He could understand it. Somehow, he could understand every word. His neck ached as he slowly tilted his head up, feeling an uncanny weight pressing down on his skull. Perched above him like a regal crown was a wolf—or something wolf-shaped. Its white fur glowed like snow in sunlight, and its golden eyes watched him with quiet power. “A... wolf cub?” Ryan muttered aloud, dumbfounded. Then, from his left, someone suddenly laughed. It was loud and sharp, breaking the quiet like it didn’t care at all. “HAHAHAHA! No way! He summoned an actual beast? A fucking mongrel mutt? Hilarious. What a walking failure!” the voice sneered. Ryan barely heard it. His head hurt badly, like hot metal was being poured into his brain. His legs buckled. He clutched his temples. "Ghhh—aaaaAAAGGGHH!" He screamed. Screamed like his soul was being shredded. “Oi! I think it broke him!” Ryan wasn’t listening anymore. Images flashed in his mind—thousands of them. A lifetime of memories that weren’t his. A dirt path, endless fields, a wooden cart, cows... a man calling himself Ethan, Ryan’s father... and a boy who had never known anything outside the boundaries of his village. He ran. Blindly. He didn’t notice the staring faces, the shiny stone walls, or the columns with floating runes. None of it mattered to him. He needed a fucking toilet. A corner. Anywhere to curl up and die in peace. He found a bathroom, rushed into the closest stall, and slammed the door behind him. Then, collapsed. The pain lasted five goddamn minutes. Time passed slowly. It felt long and painful. He groaned, cursed, and sometimes whispered, “fuck this place.” When the burning finally stopped and his mind felt calm again, he gasped for air. His skin was wet with sweat and felt cold and sticky. “What the hell... just happened to me?” “You’re finally finished,” said a deep voice from above. Ryan looked up just in time to see the wolf jump off his head. It landed softly, like it had been trained to kill. “What the actual—!” A glowing blue screen bloomed into existence midair. 💓 Name: Sphinx Level: 1 Race: Celestial Wolf Quality: Basic (Low) “Wait... Sphinx? As in that Sphinx? Egyptian mythology—?" “Wrong mythology, genius,” the wolf grunted. “Focus. Look inside. Dig through the memories, idiot.” “And it talks?!” Ryan stared in disbelief. “Not just talks. I insult too,” Sphinx added, baring a toothy grin. “Now shut the fuck up and process your damn memories.” Ryan clenched his jaw but obeyed. And suddenly—things clicked. His name was Ryan. But the boy whose memories he now possessed? He’d been born Ryan too, the son of a farmer named Ethan in a backwater village so irrelevant it didn’t even appear on maps. Then one day, a robed man passed through town and declared Ryan had "Dioki"—the essence of magic. He was sent to the capital, to enroll in Kuma Academy, the place where people learned to become summoners. Three centuries ago, monstrous beings tore through the world. Humanity teetered on the edge of annihilation. But with the invaders came Dioki—the mystic force that turned humans into summoners. With runes, circles, and alchemy, summoners brought powerful familiars from distant realms. Most looked human—goblins, elves, dwarves, and occasionally, vampires or angels. The summoners of highest tier could even call upon divine entities. Ryan opened his eyes, jaw slack. “I’ve transmigrated. I’m in another fucking world,” he murmured. “Glad you figured it out without pissing yourself,” said Sphinx, unimpressed. “Your old life? Gone. You got lucky. Some glitch in the summoning circle brought your soul here and me with it.” “But... why summon you?” Ryan asked. “Aren’t all familiars supposed to be humanoid?” “That’s the thing, dumbass.” Sphinx’s eyes narrowed. “You’re not like them. You didn’t just awaken Dioki. You rewrote it. Your existence breaks the rules.” Ryan’s eyes lit up. “So... I summoned you because I’m different. You’re not a mistake—you’re a divine beast.” “Fucking finally,” the wolf snorted. “You catch on quick—when you’re not busy whining.” Ryan leaned against the stall wall, his breathing finally evening out. He remembered the test to enter Kuma Academy. First, you had to summon something. Then, you had to answer questions on paper. According to this body's memories, the summoning part had just happened. And if you summoned something impressive? They’d let you in regardless of your test score. But if you failed? You were kicked to the gutters. Ryan looked at Sphinx, who now lay sprawled on the floor like a lazy cat—but still radiating power. “If I fail the written part, I’m fucked,” Ryan muttered. “I’m just a farmer. I don’t know shit.” “But if they realize what I summoned... maybe I’ve got a shot.” Sphinx tilted his head, clearly amused. “You still think I’m not impressive? Bitch, I’m Sphinx. Divine beast. King of celestial bloodlines. One growl from me and every other summoned familiar in this dump will drop to their knees.” “You don’t look that badass,” Ryan said with a smirk. “You look like a plush toy.” “You ungrateful cunt,” Sphinx growled, pouncing at him. “GAHHH! Stop biting me, you mangy carpet!” “I am a fucking WOLF!”Expand

Summoned Celestial Divine Beast Chapter 42: Arcane Intel Unveiled
Chapter 42: Arcane Intel UnveiledFenrir—now the massive Sphinx—lowered his grand head until a ragged handkerchief, tied to the window latch, brushed his cheek. He let out a low rumble. “So this is the fate of a legendary celestial divine beast, reduced to using shady tactics like a bloody swindler.” The chortle that followed felt dusty and rueful, echoing in the dim dorm room.Ryan had orchestrated this whole setup. His plan was simple but cunning: leverage the Sphinx’s curiosity to deliver critical information straight to Chaollete’s room. The rag still fluttered gently in the evening breeze, marking the designated window. Now, the Sphinx would slither in like a phantom courier—and not a moment too soon. The Sphinx clicked his tongue and pushed through the opening. Inside, Chaollete Ashley and Risa waited, their chairs arranged in ritualistic anticipation. A worn table creaked under the beast’s weight as he climbed aboard, then awkwardly padded onto the

Summoned Celestial Divine Beast Chapter 41: Arcane Report — The Silent Shadow Behind the Beast
Chapter 41: Arcane Report — The Silent Shadow Behind the BeastRyan’s footsteps echoed through the silent hallway of Frexia Academy’s main tower. The crimson glow of dusk filtered through stained-glass windows, painting the corridor in fragmented hues. He had no time to return to his dorm; the message from Franca had been clear — the Headmistress, Vivian, wanted to see him immediately. The door creaked open under his touch, revealing a dimly lit room that smelled faintly of sandalwood and old parchment. Seated at her desk, Vivian squinted at him through her rectangular glasses, her gaze as sharp and unreadable as ever. Candles flickered in their sconces, casting eerie shadows against the ancient bookshelves.“Third place,” she said flatly, arms folded beneath her cloak. “Not bad.”Ryan bowed respectfully. “Thank you, Teacher. I wouldn’t have achieved it without your guidance... and Franca’s lessons helped a lot.”“Hmph. Is that so?” Vivian’s lips curved in a half-smirk before she lean

The rankings shimmered under the torchlight as students leaned in to see the results.Among the crowd, murmurs quickly broke out.“The top scorer... it's the Author again. Look at that gap!”“5100 points?! That’s monstrous...”“Tina Perez came in second with 4585. She’s not far behind... but still.”"And then... what the hell? Who's third!?"“Ryan... Ryan? You mean the farming guy?!”“He beat Chaollete?! That can’t be real!”“Wait, no way. He doesn't even have a humanoid summ

The ground shivered beneath his claws as he tore through the final alien beasts with a predator's grace. They didn’t stand a chance. The Dioki that clung to the battlefield still pulsed, a soft violet haze glimmering faintly around the corpses. He exhaled. Hard."So... what now?" he asked aloud, flicking the sweat from his brow.Chaollete Ashley, her silver hair matted with forest grime and her elegant armor dulled by dirt, turned slightly. She crossed her arms and surveyed the scene with cool eyes. "You did the heavy lifting," she sa

Summoned Celestial Divine Beast Chapter 37: The Cunning Roar Beneath the Crimson Canopy
Chapter 37: The Cunning Roar Beneath the Crimson CanopyThe monstrous creature twisted its grotesque form, harnessing a cyclone of momentum as it hurled a towering tree at Sphinx like a warhammer forged from nature itself. But Sphinx, ever the predator beneath his regal fur and silver mane, had anticipated this motion. He had been creeping forward with every second that passed, closing the gap while the beast had foolishly spun itself dizzy. The tree missed its mark. With a savage growl that echoed like thunder through the bloodstained forest, Sphinx lunged and sank his gleaming fangs into the alien’s throat. His jaws clamped down with primal fury, but to his growing annoyance, the alien’s flesh was unusually dense — like biting through volcanic rock wrapped in muscle. His teeth punctured but did not devastate. The wound wasn’t fatal. Worse, the monster’s body began to seal up the injury almost immediately, as if regenerating with each heartbeat.Still mid-swing, the alien finished it
