7. New Apartment

The Lamborghini entered the south of Greenxive, occupied by various elegant skyscrapers lined through the topography and towered above their car. The busy streets were occupied by various activities, dragging Lucian Lucian's gaze outside the windshield. Lician hasn't been to the south side of Greenxive, making it a nice experience. Navigating the City, they finally arrived at the private district containing the condo Lucina randomly bought. The security buzzed the system, which allowed the car into the premises.

Lucian scanned the environment, and he could tell his new neighborhood was filled with elegant and well-connected rich people.

"Wow!" Lucian muttered the moment they entered the condo. The entrance was delicately designed and furnished into the transparent private hallway, allowing natural light to pour through the 18-foot-floor ceiling wrapped around the transparent windows. The living room expresses the luxurious lifestyle one could dream of. The transparent walls of the living room and the bedroom give it a unique taste, and it is adorned with a killer view of the City of Greenxive.

"Amazing," Lucian complimented, making Felicia beam with satisfaction.

"Should I take you through every single feature of your apartments?" Felicia asked, looking excited.

Lucina shook his head. "That won't be necessary. I will explore that later," he replied, and she nodded in acknowledgment.

Felicia placed the document in front of Lucian. "You just have to sign here, and this house is all yours," Lucian took the pen and drafted his signature without wasting much time. After completing the handover, Felicia gave him the document. "Congratulations, Lucian," she smiled.

"Thank you," he replied with a tone of satisfaction.

They both entered the elevator and headed back to the ground floor. After bidding her farewell, two cars, which Lucian easily recognized as his new car, stopped in front of Lucian's apartment. Anna, the sales girl who attended to him, exited the car and waved at him.

"Mr.Morningstar," she beamed. "I was about to call you to deliver your car," she said, handing him the keys and the document. Lucian caught her eyes, marveling at his apartment. With a sigh, she said. "You have a great choice at picking things, Mr.Morningstar," Lucian followed her gaze through the building, which was elegant and filled with luxury and assisted with an environment that favored the lifestyle; Lucian had randomly picked it without checking the details of the apartment.

"I randomly picked this one," Lucian replied with a smile and a subtle expression of pride. "I could loan it to you if you want," Lucian said homily, earning Anna's laugh.

"That would be great, but it is too far from my workplace and Xive University,"

"Xive university? You're a student?" Lucina asked, pretending not to know.

Anna nodded her head. "I'm a year three student in the art department."

"Wow, that's amazing. You're beautiful and hardworking," Lucian complemented, earning a blush from Anna.

"It only natural to be," Anna replied, making Lucina recall Veronica, though her family and background weren't that rich. She would never consider doing a part-time job to earn money. Lucian shook the thought off his head.

"Mr.Morningstar, thank you very much for your patronage," Anna bowed her head before heading back into the other car that escorted her, and Lucaun watched as the car displayed out of sight.

Without wasting time, Lucian hurriedly took the car for a spin, enjoying every single second of the ride. After a few minutes, he arrived at one of the biggest shopping malls in Greenxive. He exited his car and entered the VIP section of the Mall.

"Excuse me, this is the VIP section," a man halted Lucian from moving any further. Lucina glances at the man in corporate wear and a tie, which he considers too tight around the man's neck. He shifted his gaze to the man's badge.

"I know that Henry, I saw the sign," Lucian replied, walking past the man, but he blocked his way again. "Sorry, sir, but you ain't allowed to go inside," The man said, earning a frown from Lucian.

"Why is that?" Lucian asked, but the man remained silent and glanced at him. Lucian followed the man's eyes to his reason and rested on Lucian's outfit, which was the only clothes he took from his dorm. "Are you serious? I can't go into the VIP because of my clothes!"

"Sorry, sir, but the clothes in the VIP section are very expensive. Please make your way to the regulars," the man said, pointing in the other direction of the MallMall.

Lucian gritted his teeth at the insults. "I can here to shop, and where I choose to is none of your business, so get out of my way!" Lucian retorted, making the man's face wrinkle into a frown.

"The VIP section is filled with limited editions ranging from clothes to shoes and watches. What if you damage something, and who would pay for it?"

"Why don't you shut up your mouth and let me worry about who would pay for the clothes I choose to buy," Lucain hissed, walking past the man, but his way got blocked again.

"Are you deaf or something?" Henry spat angrily at Lucina's stubbornness. "You can afford the things there. Go to the regulars or leave this MallMall!" Henry yelled, and Lucain was about to respond when Viri's voice celebrated in his head.

"New mission alert!" Lucian stares at the new system notification that pops up in his eyes. Lucian mentally clicks on accept, displaying the details of his Mission.

With that, Lucian heaved a sigh of satisfaction as it was the same Mall Henry was blocking his part. "I want to see your ManagerManager Lucian said calmly.

Henry burst into laughter as if Lucian had just cracked a funny joke. "Why do you," he eyed Lucian from his head to his feet. "Why do you want to see the Manager? Do you want to fire a complaint or get me fired?" Henry erupts into another laughter. Lucian remained calm while the man made fun of him.

When Henry laughed to his heart's content, he pointed to the exit and said. "Leave this place before I call security to throw you out!"

Mrs. Davis, the Universal Mall manager, saw the incident from the second floor of the building. She wanted to ignore the scene but heard Lucina request for her attention. The confidence and aura that surrounded him were strong even when he wore a cheap pair of clothes. Striking her curiosity, Mrs.Davis made her way to the scene.

"How long have you been working here, Henry?" Lucina deadpan.

"I have been working here for six months, and I have come across the likes of you, who claimed to be rich but ended up being a wretched fool," Henry mocked.

Lucian nodded his head, determined to buy the MallMall at all costs. Lucian shifted her gaze to the woman who was approaching them.

"That is the mall manager," Viri noticed.

"What is going on here?" The woman in her early thirties asked Henry, who hadn't noticed her presence. Henry immediately spun around.

"Mrs.Davis," Henry was stunned and immediately bowed his head In respect. "It is nothing serious, just someone causing trouble," Henry replied, making her shift her gaze to Lucian. She saw that he was young and was probably in his early twenties.

"I asked to see your manager, and you call it nothing serious?" Lucina furrowed his brows and shook his head. He shifted his gaze to the lady that was observing him. "I believe you're the Manager. Can we talk in your office," Lucian said in an assuring tone, striking Mrs. Davis' curiosity.

"And who are you?" Mrs.Davis asked.

Henry, who noticed Lucian was about to reply, immediately cut in. "Mrs.Davis, this man is a nobody. He-" The Manager raised her hand, silencing the rest of Henry's words.

Lucian pinched the bridge of his nose and said. "A potential client." he grinned at the Manager. Mrs.Davis observes him for a while, then turns and says. "Follow me."

Henry shot Lucian an angry gaze, unhappy with Mrs. Davis's decision. "Just you watch. You're going to end up In prison just like the rest of your kind," he muttered.

After some time, Lucian followed Mrs.Davis into the mall elevator and arrived at the top floor, which contained several offices and department personnel from the MallMall. People who saw Mrs.Davis immediately bowed their heads in respect while others whispered among themselves who the man behind her was.

After a few minutes, they arrived at Mrs. David's office, which didn't fail to meet Lucian's expectations. It was neatly designed, having the luxurious feel of a billionaire dollar company.

"Have a seat," Mrs.Davis said, pointing to the empty chair opposite her. Lucina nodded and slid into the chair. "What kind I do for you?" She asked, not taking her eyes off Lucian.

"I want to buy the mall," Lucian responded.
