Power made me mad

Alastair staggered back as Drax mentioned the name. He had expected it, but he prayed it was not true. It wasn't supposed to be true. This was not supposed to happen. She told him she had aborted it. Or perhaps it was just a coincidence, perhaps it was another Sarah. It was a pretty common name.

"What do you know of your father?" Alastair asked Drax.

"I never knew him. I never even met him once. My mother said he didn't want us when she was pregnant, so she had to leave." Drax responded and took a glance at Cara when she breathed deeply.

"Did she tell you she was from here?" Alastair asked him but Drax shook his head.

"And the dragon bound to your soul, how did you get it?" Alastair asked Drax.

"I do not know. My mother once mentioned that I got it from my birth father. She said he was a very powerful man in Elderien. I am wondering if it was the king. Perhaps that would be the only reason why he would abandon us. He could not put up with the scandal. It is actually understandable." D
