" Get up!"

Seraphina's loud noise woke Kael up from a deep slumber. Kael slowly squeezed himself up from the little make shift bed he had slept on the previous night.

Seraphina has made sure that he didn't sleep on the same bed with her.

" Why are we getting up so early?" Kael asked with a deep frown on his face.

" My grandfather said we should show you around. Or were you deaf yesterday?" Seraphina asked

Kale said nothing but simply got up. " Give me a minute. I have to get ready."

Seraphina laughed. "Give you a minute, please. You are not thinking of parading yourself as my husband are you?"

Kael's eyebrows arched. " Then why am I going with you?"

Seraphina walked forward to stare into his face but then, her gaze caught his body.

They were as fresh as a new born baby with no mark on them.

Impossible.

Her eyes screamed but she quickly masked it with sharp words. "You are going because my friend and I need a servant. Someone who can carry our loads and bags." she stuttered.

Kael didn't say a word.

Deep down, he knew his grandfather must have had a reason to send him down here.

He simply walked into the bathroom while Seraphina stared from the back looking at him.

She was still in shock wondering how his wounds had disappeared overnight.

Kael walked into the living room and was surprised to see everywhere looking lively.

There were two more girls and of course Leo and Marcus' friends.

" Is that him?"

" Wow! Your grandfather has outdone himself!"

" I can't believe you were asked to marry this thing instead of Joe Linton."

" Let's go!" Seraphina barked at her friends.

As they matched into the car, Kael was stopped by Seraphina. " You are not seriously thinking of getting into the car with us are you?" she asked

Kael let out a sigh. " Of course not." he said with a weak smile.

He watched as the car sped out of the compound while he took a cab to follow right behind them.

Immediately he got down, he met Seraphina and her friends were waiting.

" Get the bags down and carry them!" she ordered

Kael waited. His stern gaze scanning her and of course her friends.

Leo and Marcus only stepped aside, watching and waiting for what he was going to do next.

But instead, Kael walked to the car and immediately started to unpack.

After he was done, they all grabbed their loads and left him there. He watched as each of them walked through the search section showing them a special card.

Seraphina looked back and laughed. " Shocked right? This is not a place meant for the likes of you."

Kael simply stared and didn't say a word.

Immediately after they were gone, he walked towards the security section.

" I came with the Lockhart's. Can I please be allowed in?" he asked

One of the security guards walked closer to him, his gaze scanning him like he was nothing.

" And who are you?"

"My name he Kael. I am Seraphina Lockhart's husband." Kael replied.

The moment he said those words, the man burst into laughter. " Oh! You are that man. The gigolo. This place is not meant for the likes of you. Leave now!"

Kael simply walked back a few distance. He took out his phone and called Dennis.

" Does my card cover hotels and exotic restaurants?" he asked over the call.

" Are you having an issue with it, Young master?"

Dennis voice echoed through the phone call.

" If course not. Activate it!" Kael commanded.

After a while, Dennis called back.

" Done!"

Kael didn't wait. He simply walked to the guard again with the card in his hands this time around.

" Didn't you hear me? Bounce!" the security man said again bringing out his baton.

Kael showed him the card through his fingers. " Try this."

His words were more of an order than a request.

The man's gaze slowly went down. He grabbed the card and swipe it.

He immediately stared into Kael's face the moment he did. He was not sure if he was seeing right so he had to swipe again..

He fell to his feet the second time.

" I am sorry, young master! I shouldn't have talked to you that way! Please, I don't want to lose my job." he pleaded.

Kael simply stared at him for a while. " Next time, don't judge a book by its cover."

The man nodded and immediately stood up.

" So, where did they go?" he asked

" Section C. Those places are meant for the elites. Business men and women. Even politicians use that place."

Kael walked away without saying a word. He simply deep the card back into his pocket.

Meanwhile, the Lockhart's were having fun with their friends. Seraphina was laughing as she had forgotten she left Kael at the gate.

But then, whispers of the girls started making her uncomfortable.

"Who is that fine man?"

" Does he work here?"

" Do they hire only handsome men over here?"

Seraphina turned back only to see Kael standing with a drink in his hands.

" Wait? How did he get past the guards?" One of Seraphina's friends asked.

" I am sure the guards must have allowed him to cury favour with me. No one would allow a nobody past the main gate." she replied. " I am sure Joe Linton will send him out once he sees him. He hates being rivalled."

Kael was about to walk closer to them when he heard a loud gunshot shot.

All the ladies flew to their feet rushing to the scene with loud noises.

Seraphina walked closer to Kael with a smirk on her face, " Since you are so eager to embarrass yourself here then I am going to grant your wish."

Kael stood still wondering what she meant as she also walked away towards the gunshot sound.

The whole room froze. Eyes followed the strange man like he was a god when he moved. "Who is that?" Leo said with a smirk. Kael's gaze furrowed a bit. He remembered Dennis's word again. Someone was trying to play his role, but then all he had to do was relax and see how things were going to unfold. A golden chair was immediately brought towards him to sit in. The man was wearing a glove on his right hand, and his gaze was quite serious. The music quieted down a bit. "You all gathered here waiting for me. Didn't you?" his voice echoed. His feet clinking against the marble floor. Joe walked forward; he slowly bowed his face to the ground. "We didn't know you were going to grace us with your presence, mighty one. Welcome." Kael laughed gently, covering his mouth. One of the guards saw him and gave him a cold face. Seraphina's gaze landed on this strange man and rushed towards him with her knees bent. "Please, I need you to heal my father. I am ready to give you everything t

Both men looked back and were stunned. "What are you doing, Peter?" she said, slowly walking towards them. Kael paused. He didn't know the woman, but she was pretending to know him, and not only that, she was prettier and well-dressed. By now, Kael knew all the families who wronged him by sigils and even crests. His eyes landed on her breast, and he could see the sigil she carried.A silver crest shaped like a coiled serpent wrapped around a crown."Stand down!" she barked at the man holding the baton. "Sure thing, Miss Veronica. I didn't know he was with you," he said with a bow.His gaze landed back on Kael, and he immediately bowed. "I am sorry. I failed to recognize you. Kael's gaze furrowed slightly. Recognize me? No one knew who he was. Not even the Locharts. So whoever this woman was must be mistaken. "You should have shown him the card. Did you not have that, Peter?" She asked again. Kael coughed before he simply adjusted his cuffs. "I am sorry, Miss, but I think y

The Locharts stepped out into the night with a black SUV waiting patiently inside the mansion. Its engine purred to life like a beast the moment the chauffeur saw Seraphina, Leo, and Marcus walking towards the car. "I can't believe we are doing this." Seraphina said with a smile. "You need to behave, little sis; I don't want Leo thinking we need him so badly." Leo said with a corner of his eyes raised. Marcus stopped, just a few steps away from the car. "And what about Kael? What do we do?" Seraphina frowned. "You do have a way of ruining my night, don't you?"Marcus looked at her and then back at Leo. "We don't want him around, but yet he is your husband. What if something bad happened? Leo laughed. "Really, Marcus? A guy who could shoot that long distance and a man who could fight. What possibly could go wrong?" Seraphina walked into the car without another word. "You need to ease up, man. Kael is nothing that old man paints him to be." Leo said, "Do you even think a man lik

The Lochart's mansion felt like it was going to collapse anytime soon the moment Arthur walked back in. "How dare you?!" he barked, staring at Seraphina."What did I do now, Grandpa?" Seraphina said, rolling her eyes. "Do I need to babysit a grown-up man?" Arthur's face lit up with rage. "Vivan!" he said with venom. "Is this how you raise my granddaughter? A woman who talks back at her elder?" Vivan smirked, rolling her eyes like she didn't care about what her father had just said. "Dad, you need to understand that Kael is not a kid. Why would he do that? Did he even understand the gravity of what he did? How dare he challenge Leo?" she said. Arthur let out an air of frustration. "Oh my god! Do you even know what is at stake?" Leo laughed. "Grandpa, whatever it is that is bothering you, we can handle it." Arthur turned, his cane tapping the ground in frustration. "And what exactly have you been doing? Have you seen the chart? Our business is dwindling. Our stocks are dropping,
