30 Years Ago, Shadow World

Electro sat on his royal golden throne, at his royal palace, where his immediate younger brother, Tide Rider and the rest royal shadow lords were present including the Dragon master and his siblings.

He honed in his intense eyes at Dampude and Elizarb who were being estranged as they were bound by the Cacorah, a magical tool used to suppress the powers of a shadow lord.

"You would betray us, your people for those sinister creatures known as the shadow monsters," Electro seethed through clenched teeth as he balled his fist, sensing a wave of fury rising within him.

The nagging feeling at the back of Electro's head questioned him.

"Of course, Zemas, the head of the shadow beasts fights for a just cause and it would be right to support him since the humans have all despised all and showed us no regard," Dampude croaked out.

The Cacorah had weakened him and he felt giddy. He knew he couldn't summon any of his shadow aura at all.

"I'm ashamed of you. You can't be saved since you have reached the point of no return," Electro scowled.

"We are also ashamed of you who claim to be of royalty and would lower yourself down to be a slave to the humans because of such ridiculous claims of saving them," Dampude hissed in disgust and Elizarb did the same.

"How dare you insult royalty!" Tide rider blurted out as the shadow lords present as guards plus all Electro siblings rose together.

"Just kill us and get it over with," Elizarb said indignantly.

"It's okay," Electro gritted his teeth while he signified to the rest of his siblings to settle down.

"You should know that I have consulted shadow god Humu about the punishment and it's death without reincarnation, meaning you wouldn't be immortalised in any way by reincarnation after death, but death for eternity and your shadow spirit would wander in torment," Elijah snapped.

"What! But that's not supposed to be, we are still shadow lords, remember? Even though we aren't royals," Dampude clamoured.

"Of course, it's because you cheated the basic rules. You betrayed your kind without any manipulation from Zemas or any of the shadow beats and because of that, your death would be permanent," Elijah's eyes dilated as he spoke.

Elizarb began to sob throatily till her cries became a dry retch and Dampude consoled her, with tears slithering down his one skin.

"It's alright, just get on with it. We are ready to die for our own just cause," Dampude huffed.

"Dad!" Benovio who rushed into the palace was restricted by the shadow lords present.

"You have no right to be here, get out!" The shadow lord who was a guard to the palace croaked out restricting him with a shadow staff in his hands.

"What! That's my dad over there," Benovio screeched.

"No!" Benovio felt a pain splintered across his head as he was knocked out by the staff...

Dampude and Elizarb were led to confinement before their sentence was to be carried out.

"Now!" Dampude yelled and two of the men holding him and Elizarb, loosed the Cacorah from their hands making them free to attempt to fight their way to escape.

Electro was notified about this and as he rushed towards them after splitting up with his siblings he was alone with shadow masters and shadow lords that betrayed him following Dampude and Elizarb.

"Hmm, seems like you have more enemies within than you thought of," Dampude and Elizarb scoffed.

Electro eyes glowed his shadow aura and sparkles of lightning hovered around him.

"You think you all stand a chance against me?" Electro roared and his voice echoed.

Shadow masters present rushed at him and he summoned his shadow boomerang blade to annihilate them one by one with his lightning aura at work.

Three of the shadow lords that attacked Electro slowed him down a bit, while Dampude and Elizarb tried to escape but he overcame them ending their lives on the spot.

"We have to get our kids first before we escape," Elizarb said.

"Going somewhere," Electro appeared from his portal in front of them.

"Go to hell!" Dampude yelled as he charged at Electro with Elizarb and they both charged with their supernatural speed, but Electro was too quick as he finished them both on the spot.

"Brother," Tide rider waltzed into the scene, finished with a bout of concern as he twitched his lips upwards in distress.

"Am fine," Electro said as he observed Dampude and Elizarb's shadow blood dripping from his blade and how their corpse completely disappeared...

Present Day

Benovio gritted his teeth as they all reminisced about the old times.

"Of course, we have to make sure we have our revenge no matter what," Benovio seethed through clenched teeth.

"Sure of course, no matter what happens, the royals must all pay for their crimes to us," Circe added while Sacorah nodded his head...

Storm Bender and Frozen Claws jaws dropped and Vivian waggled up and down the lounge room as she allowed her shocking words to sink deeply into them. "You can't be serious?" Frozen Claws began as she appeared flustered with her eyes popped open in astonishment. "That's what he said, he showed me. I can share it with you, those same prophecies, they were real," Vivian said as she projected a tad of her purple ultraviolet shadow aura into the atmosphere Storm Bender and Frozen Claws could sense through it and perceive that the prophecy was real. "But how can this be?" Storm Bender stuttered almost dumbstruck. "That's what I don't also understand. I mean that's why I had to tell you guys. His parents weren't royals before their execution, so there was no way they could have access to the powers of prophecy since it's restricted for royals," Vivian mused. "Except they stole the ancient magical instruments that were meant in royal possession," Frozen Claws muttered. "Come again sis, y

"Ooh, of course, I came here to see you," Clark stuttered. "Alright then, come in," Dahlia winked and they both got into her apartment. Vivian felt her whole life flashed before her because she couldn't know how she could present the issue that Clark was the father of her dead and yet-to-be reincarnated children. Vivian waggled through the woods far away from where she saw Clark and was filled with sadistic emotions till she halted at a rumbling noise. She knew someone was around and probably thought it was a shadow beas

A state of anxiety rippled through the air as everyone's jaw dropped. "Big brother, are you telling us you can sense some of the shards here and right now?" Storm Bender raised his right brow flustered and in curiosity. "Yes, it's here somewhere, five of them, it's so strong and I can sense it," Clark's dewy sensitive eyes popped open in a scrutinizing manner. Vivian's eyes popped open in astonishment as she waggled close towards Clark in a concerning manner. "Okay big brother, lead us to it then and find your shards," Frozen Claw's eyes twitched in curiosity. "Of course," Clark's eyes glowed a red aura and it flickered. He knew his aura was kicking in and he could attempt to try and sense the shards once and for all. A chill hurtled down his spine as he moved with his supernatural speed towards the large picture on the wall to remove it with his supernatural strength. "I mean it makes a lot of sense since it's a normal occurrence. After reincarnation, his shards usually appear

Clark woke up flustered. Memories of what happened in the wee hours flashed through his mind and his stomach flipped. His chest tightened as he wanted to brawl his eyes out. He gazed at Dahlia who was fast asleep beside him. Elizabeth waggled into their room with her lips curling up into a smile. She didn't know that they were more than friends and felt delighted about it. "Sorry, it's not actually what you think it is," Clark stuttered facing Elizabeth who brought in a meal of lamb fries. "Hey Mom," Dahlia yawned groggily and checked the time to see it was already morning. Clark had been there all night and she couldn't help but flash a perfect smile. "Yes daughter, just enjoy yourself and don't let me interrupt," Elizabeth giggled as she dropped the plate of lamb fries and waggled out of their room. "I guess you are my new prince charming boyfriend," Dahlia's lips stuck out playfully as she chuckled gleefully while Clark shook his head while clicking his tongue in repugnance.

Clark's heart thudded in his chest as he strode towards Dahlia's house. Even though he wasn't sure about her house, he felt he could easily locate either her house or Dahlia herself on the way, because of the way the city had been whittled of people. He recalled the story that Joshua told him about the mayor evading the city alongside some people. He stroked his chin as he reminisced about it, wondering how it wasn't enough to convince Joshua to leave the city. Three Years Ago Mayor Orson Esher stood at the podium at the city hall to deliver his presumed last speech before resigning. His heart thudded dangerously against his rib cage as damp sweat trickled down his skin. He had an encounter with the shadow beasts recently and was lucky to escape so he was callous to the fact that he might use some opprobrious language to express his speech. Finally, a tug of reprieve etched succinctly in his heart because he knew what he wanted to announce was very pleasing. "Please I urge you
