“You must join the Legolas army.”

William gulped hard. Could he really be part of such a ruthless army?

However, he had no choice, it was either that or death.

[ 3 YEARS LATER]

“Mother I’ve heard some interesting news!” Scarlett said happily as she walked into the Grey mansion.

Fiona’s eyes widened curiously. “What’s the big news?”

“I heard Knight industries is setting up in Crenshaw city. They are planning on making some big events and are looking for companies to partner with.” Scarlett explained.

Fiona was excited about the news. “Knight Industries is worth over 10 trillion dollars. If we are lucky enough to get a business contract with them, we could make over ten times what we are making now.”

“I heard the owner Asher Knight is also a young man. It is surprising that a such a young person could own such a large company like Knight Industries” Chloe chimed in.

“Yes. I heard that too. He is very private and very few people have seen him.” Scarlett replied.

Chloe played with her hair. “I also heard a rumor that he is really handsome. Maybe I’ll be lucky to meet him”

Scarlett rolled her eyes. “I’m sure he will prefer a more refined woman like myself.”

Asher Knight was one of the biggest billionaires in the business world.

He found a rare new mineral called Degrolite and built Knight Industries. The company was involved in major sectors like energy, construction, and technology.

“Your plane is ready sir. Are you ready to go?” Roland, William’s assistant informed him.

William stood up from his seat as he looked at the time on his $100,000-dollar diamond studded watch.

He wasn’t the same man that he was 3 years ago. He was now a refined man. Time on the island as well as training with the Legend army had hardened him into the man he was now.

He had found the Degrolite element in a cave in Legolas Island and found out it was extremely valuable. Even the Legolas army had no idea what it was.

After making a deal with the Captain of the Legolas army, he was allowed to leave the army in order to take his revenge.

He changed his name to Asher Knight and started Knight industries.

In just two years, the company had grown so much that people referred to him as “The Incredible Asher Knight”

Meanwhile, for the past 5 years, Scarlett had enjoyed her new position of Grey Industries. Since William was unable to claim the inheritance. By law, the inheritance was transferred to her.

William put on his Armani suit and dark round sunshades. “Let’s go.”

He was escorted by several men as he made his way to his private plane.

As he neared Crenshaw city. Memories of how the Grey family treated him resurfaced.

He clenched his fists in anger. He had waited patiently planning his revenge. He was going to give them back ten times what they had done to him.

Soon he arrived at the Emerald Tower. The Emerald Tower was the most expensive skyscraper in the whole of Crenshaw City.

Only the extremely rich could afford to stay in the Emerald Tower, and William was staying in the Penthouse Suite, which was the most expensive suite worth $50 million dollars. However, to him that was just chicken change.

“Do you have any other plans for today sir?” Roland asked.

“Yes. I want to work out. Find me a good gym.”

Roland handed him a membership card. “Already done that sir. I have gotten you a membership at the Elite Gym.”

The Elite Gym was the most exclusive gym in the city. Not just anyone could get in. It was where professional boxers and athletes went to train.

They only allowed 5 new members every year and to get a membership cost a lot.

William smiled. Roland always understood what he needed.

He tapped him lightly on the shoulder. “Good work. You don't need to come with me.”

William stepped into the Elite gym. Top celebrity athletes were busy having their training sessions. He recognized one of the boxers there.

His name was Ryan. Ryan was a professional boxer and Top 3 in the city.

He was also good friends with Damon and had also had his own fun kicking him around whenever he came to visit Damon at the Grey Mansion.

However, William paid no attention to him and went on to prepare for his workout session.

Ryan had recently won the imperial boxing championship and was given the Gold plated Imperial belt.

Ever since he had won it, he would always wear it to the gym to show everyone he was the reigning boxer of the moment.

Ryan noticed William walking into the gym. At first he wasn’t sure if he was the one because he looked completely different.

He had an aura that was different from the William he knew three years ago.

“isn’t that the useless son-in-law from the Grey family?” Ryan asked one of his sparring mates.

“Really? Are you sure he’s the one? He looks different.” The guy replied.

Ryan stared at him again. It was definitely William.

Although he had changed a lot, he had been to the Grey mansion enough times to know what William looked like.

Ryan walked towards him where he was getting ready to train. William noticed him coming but still pretended not to see him.

“Hey you! What are you doing here? I thought you were dead?”

William clenched his jaw. The Grey family had made up a lie about what happened.

They abandoned him and then lied about everything.

“I am here to train.” He replied casually.

“I really don’t care what happened to you.” Ryan snapped. “What I want to know is who let filth like you into this gym? Don’t you know this gym is only for exclusive members?”

William tried to ignore him and walk away but Ryan pushed him back. “Hey I’m still talking to you!”

William smirked which only seemed to anger Ryan even more.

“I have a membership here.” he said calmly.

Ryan scoffed. “You are nothing more than a dog for the Grey family, there’s no way you can afford a membership here. You couldn’t even afford to pay for one of the towels I use to clean my sweat.”

William’s gaze hardened. “I paid for a membership just like you.”

Ryan’s face hardened with rage. “You bastard! I know you must have snuck in to see the celebrity athletes here.”

“Like I said I have a member-”

Before William could complete his sentence, Ryan launched a punch at his jaw causing him to stagger back a bit.

William spit out blood from his mouth and glared back angrily at Ryan. “I’ll make you regret that.”
