Chapter 15 Cat

"Yes. And because I know it's not just a rumor, that's why I leave this task to you. Besides, I got the report one month ago. I just didn't have time to finish it. And also in those days you still locked yourself in the house?” And somehow Eden looks like he's trying to make fun of Cologne.

"Don't dwell too long on everything that's been missed. Seniors should support me if they want to see me solve this problem well," Cologne tried.

Eden shrugged his shoulders and smiled mischievously. "It's your own fault," he said guiltily.

Cologne was silent he didn't realize it would be useful if he kept trying to defend himself.

“Whatever,” Cologne responded curtly. He chose not to engage further in pointless conversation.

The next day

Cologne restarted its investigation. This time, I went to the new shop to discuss the case of the murder of lying cats that have been rampant lately.

this place is always deserted, Cologne thought as he saw the tavern he'd been to, returning as quiet as the day before.

The young man then entered the shop. Although deep down he felt he had, but he tried to venture into the tavern.

Arriving at the tavern, Cologne went to the counter and found a man named Baron looking pointedly at him.

“Excuse me, I ordered food here?” asked Cologne as pleasantly as possible. For some reason the young man had a bad feeling since he came to this shop.

The cat maniac named Baron did not answer and he only gave a list of food menus in Cologne.

Cologne took the list and looked for a seat he could use. In his heart the young man wondered why the Baron looked like he was trying to experience him. He also felt from the start that he was not welcome in the tavern.

Is this just a weird feeling? asked Cologne in his heart.

Cologne then sat down where he had chosen. After looking at the menu list and there wasn't much of a food list there. There is only a simple menu that tastes like it can be prepared at home.

"Do they intend to open a shop or are they just trying to start a cooking game here?" Cologne mumbled to himself as he found the food menu in the tavern looking too simple.

“You'd better go back and there's no need to come back here! You still want to live, don't you?" Suddenly a burly man full of tattoos appeared at the Cologne table.

Cologne was surprised and immediately revealed without blinking at the man. “Ah sorry, why are you trying to kick me out? should you try to serve and deliver orders to me?” Cologne became puzzled over the strange attitude shown by the man.

Clang

The butcher knife stuck right in front of Cologne's face or rather stabbed into the table the young man was using.

"I've tried you. You go or before this knife stabs your mouth sharply!” threatened the Baron. The man didn't seem happy with Cologne's presence from the start.

It's not just a proverb is it? thought Cologne, who at times thought the Baron's words were a proverb.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. I came here because I wanted the tastiest menu from this shop but why are you trying to get me?” Cologne tried to look as calm as possible. He thought there was no point in acting panicked or rash here.

"You will be the menu of the meal here!" said the Baron in a voice that sounded very heavy. The man's voice sounded defensive like a moneylender who was collecting debts from his clients.

Hearing the Baron's words, successfully made Kolen's instincts work twice as fast as usual. He realized that he was in a dangerous situation. Although it was too late, Cologne finally tried to try himself and escape from there.

SRET

The butcher knife that had previously been beautifully stabbed into the table, was now right in front of Cologne's neck and was ready to cut that smooth neck at any moment.

"Late. You idiot, I already gave you time to escape before!” The Baron was threatening Cologne and the man really did look like a butcher preparing his cattle.

Cologne tried to throw a Mae Geri kick (a front kick this technique takes the form of a punch bouncy kick or a straight poke with the target towards the front) which is aimed at the Baron. But the kick was parried easily by the Baron. And the burly man managed to cut Cologne's leg a little with his knife.

“Uwargghhh…. ' cried Cologne when he realized he had been injured. Cologne could feel the blade slicing through his skin.

After successfully wounding Cologne, the Baron then quickly hit the young man's head. And succeeded in making Cologne faint. Quickly, the Baron brought Cologne's body to a hiding place in this tavern.

“Urgh… urgh… this is terrible,” Cologne moaned as soon as he came to his senses. The young man could feel an excruciating pain in the middle of his head. He tried to catch his breath and tried to be as calm as possible.

I was kidnapped and held in a strange place, damn it when it was just a case of killing a cat but why am I now arrested and it looks like I'm going to be killed? thought Cologne. The young man feels that he is now not much different from the condition of the lying cats who are victims of humans who have mental illnesses.

Cologne looked around and found many cat carcasses strewn around him. Unmitigated there are also many carcasses that leave the skulls of the rotting corpses of cats.

Damn, no wonder it stinks so bad, Cologne groaned inwardly.

"We can sell the young man's organs inside, besides, it will be difficult for outsiders to find his whereabouts," said a voice speaking in a loud voice outside. It sounded like the Baron's.

Cologne drew nearer to the wall and sure enough that the voice could be heard clearly from there. the people working in this tavern were trying to keep an eye on him from the outside.

“Baron, I want you to quickly finish this all. You know, our business can't just stop here." like everyone else's voice is he's the Baron's co-worker.

Cologne growled. He tried everything to get out of here. The young man tried to get up then stood up slowly.
