Gideon cleared his throat immediately, not wanting to make Jack suspicious of him.

"My apologies, young master. I mean, I'd still like to spend some time touring the city with you," Gideon replied, looking at the streets as if he didn't dare look at his young master.

Jack was beginning to be suspicious of his grandfather's confidant, but he couldn't possibly refuse the man's wishes.

Gideon had helped him so much that accompanying him around the city would be no problem for him.

"All right, I'll go with you. I've never been to this town before," Jack replied honestly.

The young man was instantly reminded of his childhood spent only in an orphanage.

Even since graduating from high school and then entering Rundall University to continue his education and then living in a special dormitory provided by the college, Jack had never traveled around the city.

His time was always spent working and concentrating on his studies.
