Chapter eighteen

Marco led Raina inside the party by the hand. She stuck to him like glue.

They got to the center where everyone was waiting for the birthday girl to open her presents. Raina gave a bright smile as she sat down in the middle.

It gave her a clear view of everything and everyone, she suddenly frowned and Marco turned to see what made her frown.

Chris, Tyler, and Dahlia stood to the side watching her with a scowl on their faces, it made Marco smile that he had gotten under their skin.

"Okay, let's see who this is from," Raina said, her eyes bright with excitement as she opened one of her birthday presents.

By now, everyone had gathered around her, watching eagerly as she tore through the wrapping paper and revealed the gifts inside.

"thank you so much, Jake." She said as she revealed the bracelet he got for her.

Jake smiled at her, "I know you always wanted one like that."

She smiled and thanked him for his thoughtful gift. her joy infectious as she held up each one for everyone to see.
