The villagers only know that this strange and blind man is the protector of the village from the interference of newcomer bandits who extort the villagers. Not many know that this blind man is an unrivaled Swordsman of his time. The man who is now called Ki Wicaksono is the last generation of Dragon Warriors. With the title attached to him, he could actually claim the throne of the kingdom of Kamandaria, but he preferred to protect the Black Mist Village and stay in this village.

After leaving Candaka, Ki Wicaksono continued his journey to the end of the village near the mountains. It looked like he was just walking normally but he quickly entered the forest behind the end of the village. This demonstrated his incredible body lightening skills.

Slowly the sun began to set leaving the darkness that enveloped the forest. Ki Wicaksono arrived at a unique house that combines the concept of a house with trees.

"Grandfather wherever, luckily arrived quickly. It's already dark," said a beautiful young woman

The woman who looks elegant and beautiful is named Gayatri. He is the only grandson of Wicaksono.

"Grandfather was just sitting at Yatri's place to eat," answered Wicaksono calmly.

He knew his grandson was worried about him as much as he was worried about his granddaughter because there were already so many blackmailing bandits that controlled the village where he lived. Luckily he has passed on some martial arts to his grandson to defend himself if something happens to him.

“Earlier, my grandfather met this young immigrant who had just entered our village. Grandfather heard he was looking for your father Yatri!”

"What business does he have to look for Dad?" asked Gayatri while preparing dinner for his grandfather.

“Grandfather didn't know, but he said your father was his uncle. This is impossible because as far as grandfather knows, your aunt has vanished in the Black Mist while trying to save you first, Yatri!!!” said Ki Wicaksono.

Gayatri was silent for a moment when her grandfather started to bring up again the problems when he was a child. His mother died giving birth to him, so his Aunt Sri Ningsih took care of him from a young age. While his father disappeared after his birth, either blaming him or indeed there was something else he didn't know.

It was already dusk and he was still playing in the yard. His aunt's screams could not be heard by him. The Black Mist moved fast as if it was about to swallow everything in its path. Ningsih was so panicked that she desperately ran to grab Gayatri and ran quickly into the house. Gayatri survived but she did not see her aunt again after that incident.

Gayatri feels she has been cursed since birth. Anyone close to him would have left him dead or alive. That's what makes him always shut himself in the house in the middle of the forest. Only his grandfather was the only one he felt had not left him.

"Yes, Grandpa, Yatri, I'm sorry. Because of Yatri, auntie disappeared in the Black Mist of this cursed village and father left us too because of me ssshhhh!” Gayatri sobs remembering all her past incidents.

It was also what made him not willing to leave his grandfather alone even though he was fed up with everything that happened to him. He is fed up with the cursed village that he feels is always cursing him.

The old man breathed heavily. "Grandpa doesn't blame you Yatri. If grandpa had not left at that time maybe this incident would not have happened!”

"Tomorrow, I'll try to find the nomadic young man so I can find out exactly why he knows your father's name, Yatri."

Jayanti took the lead, guiding them into the depths of the Forbidden Forest. Because Kumalasari had joined the group with a heavy load of supplies, they were forced to head toward Dragon Valley via the overland path. Jayanti could not guarantee that the portals she usually frequented could safely transport all these supplies to their destination."Watch your step... many climbing vines have grown in this forest recently; they will coil around your legs if you so much as brush against them. Look closely—these plants are marked by leaves that glow in the dark," Jayanti warned."I’ve passed through this forest in the darkness before, Yanti, but these plants weren't here. Why are these dangerous things growing now?" Candaka asked."It’s due to the influence of the Black Dragon’s demonic aura, which spread throughout the Forbidden Forest the moment he was released from the Black Mist," Jayanti replied.Sure enough, the path ahead of them was brightly illuminated by the shimmering glow of t

  • Dragon Valley or Golden Dragon City?

"We have arrived, Brother... I’ll take my leave now. My task is done, and I must report back to Grandfather," Jayanti said after they reached the edge of the Forbidden Forest in the blink of an eye."Wait, Yanti... I actually need your help to take me to Dragon Valley. There is a great secret I must ask your grandfather about, and I have a message to deliver from someone I once knew. But I’ve promised Kumalasari I would escort her to the capital. I'm torn... do you have any suggestions?" Candaka asked, stopping the girl before she could vanish."If you wish, you can bring your friend along to Dragon Valley on the way to the Golden Dragon City. From the Dragon City, you can simply ascend toward the cliffs of the Golden Dragon City. That way, you won't encounter many obstacles on your journey," Jayanti suggested."But Mala is an ordinary human. How could she possibly survive or even enter Dragon Valley?" Candaka asked in bewilderment. He wondered if the girl thought Mala was a Dragon Ch

  • The Beautiful Red Dragon Reappears

Candaka had momentarily forgotten his intention to check on Gayatri, but seeing Kumalasari’s sheer enthusiasm to leave the village for the capital made him abandon his plan to head into the Forbidden Forest."We will leave tomorrow morning. Let’s prepare and get enough rest first. If possible, bring plenty of supplies; it’s a long journey to the capital. Ever since the Black Dragon emerged, many regions have fallen under the control of bandits and strange creatures we know nothing about," Candaka advised."Whatever you say, Brother. Mala will go downstairs to buy some food for our journey," she replied before leaving him.Candaka made use of the time to open the Red Dragon Manual. Just like the White Dragon Manual, this book contained several techniques that seemed to move on their own as he looked at them. This manual must be enchanted with magic, allowing it to demonstrate martial arts movements that I can learn instantly.Psst... psst...Suddenly, a whisper reached Candaka’s ears,

  • The Dream’s Mystery Revealed

Candaka spun around the moment he heard that familiar voice. He was overjoyed to encounter her within the world of his dreams. "Princess Zhian! Thank you for entering my dream to help me."It was indeed Zhian. As usual, the beautiful girl was dressed in the feminine attire of the era; there was no sign of the warrior who had effortlessly taken down five young fighters at Isyana’s home. She seemed largely indifferent to Candaka’s enthusiastic greeting."Since when did I become a Princess? And besides, who said I was here to help you? I am merely observing. If you cannot unravel the meaning of this dream, you will sleep forever in the waking world. I have no right to interfere with your visions, for this is a destiny that will shadow you always," Zhian said sharply."Don’t be so cynical, Princess... You are a Princess in my heart because you possess the grace of royalty," Candaka flirted. He knew he had to get Zhian on his side to uncover the mystery of this dream. Making her feel flatt

Candaka’s heart remained conflicted as he debated whether to check on Gayatri. Two weeks had passed without a single word from her. Has Yatri forgiven me yet? How is she doing now?Without realizing it, his feet led him back to the village inn. I should see Mala first to let her know I’ll be heading home with her. I left earlier without even saying goodbye.Candaka hurried to his room, but the girl was nowhere to be found. Where did she go? I didn’t see her in the dining hall either. Perhaps she got bored and went for a stroll through the village. I’ll just wait for her here and get some rest. Before he knew it, the young man drifted off, slipping once more into the world of dreams. This time, the dream was different. Candaka found himself in a bustling city. It appeared to be a major trade hub, a crossroads for commerce between various cities and villages. Am I in the capital? Why am I in the Golden Dragon City? To maintain his cover, Fei lived on the slopes of the Three-Finger Mountains, ensuring no warriors—especially those from the Black Dragon organization—would discover him. Fei was a native of Arkandria, just like Zhian, who now never left Isyana’s side.Fei had observed Gayatri and Ki Wicaksono for a long time during their stay in the Forbidden Forest cottage. However, the young man always kept his distance to ensure his presence was not detected by Ki Wicaksono, who was a formidable Dragon Warrior. Over time, Fei found himself falling in love with Gayatri’s beauty and grace. He had been stationed around the Forbidden Forest because Isyana frequently visited Ki Wicaksono. Meanwhile, the area around the Black Mist Village was assigned to Zhian, who secretly followed her Princes
