Flora walked into her cousin Ted's room, her heart heavy with the weight of her recent breakup with Salvador. She found Ted sprawled out on his bed, scrolling through his phone. "Hey, Ted," she said softly, taking a seat next to him.

Ted glanced up, a faux look of concern crossing his face. "Hey, Flora. What's up?"

Flora sighed, feeling the need to unburden herself. "Salvador and I broke up," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ted's eyebrows shot up in feigned surprise. "No way! What happened?"
