"Yes you heard me well. Edmond is your elder cousin, he should be the president not you."

Oliva Was shocked beyond her imagination. 'I thought grandmother was with me all this while?' She thought to herself and gradually anger filled her pretty face making her look older than her age.

She was still sitting when Mrs Fairfax made this statement, she had wanted to make fun of Maya before she will leave her office, but she was put to shame by her grandmother's statement.

All the while Olivia thought that her grandmother was planning to hand the company over to her if Maya doesn't comply.

A snicker escaped Maya's lips as she saw Olivia's facial expression after Mrs Fairfax said that the headship of the company will go to Edmond not Olivia.

Maya feels better at least Olivia wouldn't be running the company that would be the worst thing that can happen to her. In her opinion, Olivia is a wicked sister who wouldn't think twice before firing her.

Judging from how Olivia treated Logan earlier she would do even worst. Though Edmond wasn't good to her either but at least he has a pinch of human feelings in him.

Logan quickly bought an apartment and immediately requested that Juliana be discharged, he employed a family doctor and nurses to take care of her, until she recovers fully.

The apartment wasn't that big. he bought small apartment in other not to raise suspicion and also he was not going to be staying with her, he plans to still be a live-in son in-law.

After everything was taken care of Logan went back the Fairfax mansion.

"Look who we have here! finally, you are back." Annette said just as Logan set his foot on the mansion. She is Olivia's mother.

Though Logan expected, he would have preferred resting a little before any of that.

"I was just about to do the laundry myself and just when I needed you most, here are my clothes I need it washed clean as soon as possible." Annette said while handing him the dirty clothes.

Logan was hesitant, he was contemplating if to wash the clothes or not. with his new status he expected to be treated fairly but he forgot that no one knows his new status yet.

"Fool!! what are you staring at, aren't you going to take this clothes from my hand?"

Logan snapped out of his daze, he took the clothes from her and sluggishly stride to the laundry room. His brows was knitted with frown.

On getting in, someone laughed loud. "what a surprise. Logan you are back so soon, we actually missed you. Why did you come when I am done with my laundry? That's so unfair of you.

Logan rolled his eyes. And walked to an empty Washing machine, as he was arranging the clothes that he was about to wash Edmond walked to him and tapped his shoulder.

"You know what? To make up for this you should come tidy my room, lest I will not forgive you." Edmond giggled as he was done talking.

At this moment Logan felt like punching him on the face and beating him to death, but he maintained his demeanor and continued doing the laundry that he was doing.

It was a Saturday morning almost every member of the family was home. It was a very wrong day to come home but he have to, so that he can have the time to discuss with Maya about his new work.

"Hey! Logan. when did you come back and why am I not aware that you are home?" Maya inquired she has also come to do her laundry.

Her voice startled Logan he never expected her in there, he slowly lifted his head and faced Maya who was behind him, Maya was shocked to see him at least he should have let her know that he was around before running errands for her family.

She stood still holding a bucket full of dirty clothes, Maya was very disappointed at Logan.

Edmond who was still doing his laundry chuckled as he saw how frightened Logan was at the sight of Maya. "You are really a coward".

"I am sorry my dear you are correct I should have seen you first, it's just that Aunty Annette caught me by surprise so have to quickly do her laundry before heading to the room." Logan replied in defence hoping that Maya understands.

Logan looked at her apologetically making her not to further scold him.

"Hahaha, you two are actually ment to be together." Edmond said sarcastically. Grandfather must have seen that the two of you are a perfect match, two senseless love birds.

"I should quickly move from here before you infect me with your stupidity." Edmond curse as he left the laundry room. And remember to come tidy my room when you are done, My insane cousin in-law. Edmond added.

A hint of disdain flashed through thier faces but what can they do? The family had made them the slave of the family, so long as they live in the mansion they will always be treated that way.

Some seconds later Logan broke the angry mode, he smiled broadly as he stared at Maya, the smile was contagious make her smile back at him.

"Give me that." Logan took the clothes form Maya. Go sit let me do the laundry for you, Maya was reluctant, she had never let him wash her clothes, but she let go the bucket and went to sit as instructed by Logan.

"As you wish boss." Maya said shining her tiny well arranged set of teeth. She was so tired after a long week of stressful work load, and coupled with her family's pressures. She needs a very good rest.

When Logan was done selecting and arranging the clothes he put them in the washing machine and pressed the start button. As soon as he had done that he walked towards Maya and sat beside her.
