“…finally…”

The voice did not echo. It pressed. Heavy. Ancient. Vast. Eddy’s body went rigid as something else moved through him—past his thoughts, past his will, straight into the core of his existence.

The flame turned black. Not dim. Not dying. But wrong. “Master Eddy… stop it…” the servant’s voice trembled, weaker now, strained by fear rather than pain. “Whatever you’ve awakened… it’s not part of the system…”

Eddy tried to respond. But his throat refused. Because the system was no longer the only thing speaking.

Bloodline Override: ACTIVE

Unknown Authority Detected

System Control: PARTIALLY COMPROMISED

“…interesting vessel…”

The voice slid through his mind like cold oil. Eddy’s fingers twitched. “You’re… inside me…” he said, barely above a whisper.

“…no…”

A pause. Then “…you opened the door.”

A violent tremor ripped through the mine. The walls cracked further, long fractures spreading like veins.

The swarm of Eerie Spawn froze mid-advance, their hollow eyes flickering erratically as if caught between instinct and something deeper.

Fear. They were afraid. Not of the flame. Of him. Eddy felt it. That shift. That recognition. And it terrified him. “System,” he forced out, “regain control.”

Attempting…

Override Rejected

Warning: Host State Unstable

“Then isolate it!” Eddy snapped.

No response came. Instead, the black flame surged higher. The mutated core pulsed violently, tendrils of dark fire spreading outward along the ground like living veins.

The creatures shrieked. Some retreated. Others Collapsed. Their forms dissolving into wisps of shadow that were immediately pulled toward Eddy. “No…” the servant whispered. “It’s feeding…”

Eddy’s breath hitched. “Stop it!” he shouted, clenching his fists.

But the shadows kept coming. Streaming into him, filling him. The pressure built rapidly—too fast. Too much. His vision blurred. “…more…” the voice murmured. “…you need more…”

“I don’t!” Eddy roared.

For a moment, Everything halted. The shadows froze mid-air. The black flame flickered violently. And the presence inside him… paused. “…defiance…”

Then, A sharp, piercing sound erupted from deep within the mine. Not a shriek. Not a roar. But something deeper. Something that commanded.

The ground split open. A massive crack tore through the center of the chamber, revealing a void beneath—endless, writhing, alive with darkness.

And from that abyss, Something began to rise. Slowly. Deliberately. The servant’s eyes widened in horror. “…no… no, it can’t be…”

Eddy forced himself to look. At first, there was nothing. Just darkness. Then, an eye opened. Not glowing. Not burning. But absorbing. Light bent around it.

The flame dimmed in its presence. Eddy’s breath stopped completely. “What… is that…?”

The servant’s voice broke. “…that… is why this mine was sealed…”

The eye shifted. Focused. On Eddy. “…blood…”

The word resonated through the entire chamber. Every creature dropped instantly, their forms flattening against the ground as if crushed by invisible pressure.

Eddy’s knees buckled. The force alone was suffocating. The presence inside him stirred again. “…so… it still exists…”

“You know it?” Eddy demanded, his voice strained. No answer came. Instead, the system flickered violently.

Critical Alert

Entity Identified: ???

Classification: Forbidden

Threat Level: Catastrophic

“Catastrophic…” Eddy repeated.

The eye narrowed. “…come… closer…”

Eddy’s body moved. Without permission. Step by step toward the crack. “STOP!” the servant shouted, dragging himself forward despite his injuries. “Don’t listen to it!”

Eddy tried to resist. Every muscle strained. But the pull was overwhelming. “…you carry… her mark…”

His heart skipped. “…mother…” Eddy whispered.

The presence inside him reacted instantly. “…dangerous…”

For the first time, it sounded… wary. Eddy’s eyes sharpened. “You’re afraid of it?”

Silence. Then, “…not afraid…”

A pause. “…but it should not wake.”

Too late. The ground trembled again. The crack widened. More of the creature’s form began to emerge, not fully, not clearly, but enough to distort the space around it.

The flame bent. The air thickened. Reality itself seemed to resist its existence. Eddy stopped at the edge. The pull intensified. “…step forward…”

His foot lifted. The servant lunged, grabbing his arm. “MASTER EDDY!”

The contact broke something. Just for a second. Eddy gasped and regained control. He stumbled back. “What… does it want?” he demanded.

The servant’s grip tightened. “It wants out.”

A beat of silence. Then, the eye shifted again. Not to Eddy. But to the servant. “…interference…”

A low hum filled the chamber. The pressure spiked. The servant’s body slammed into the ground, blood spraying from his mouth. “NO!” Eddy shouted. Rage surged. Hot. Sharp. Uncontrolled.

The presence inside him reacted instantly. “…yes… that’s it…”

The shadows moved again. Faster. Stronger. Drawn not just by instinct, but by emotion. Eddy felt it. The connection. The more he lost control, the stronger it became. “Get… away from him!” Eddy roared, stepping forward.

The eye widened slightly. “…you… command it…”

The words sent a chill down his spine. “I don’t command anything!”

“…you will…”

The darkness surged. This time, not toward Eddy. But toward the servant. Eddy’s pupils shrank. “No!”

He moved instantly. Faster than before. Intercepting the wave of shadow with his own body. “System, defensive fusion!” he shouted.

Emergency Fusion Activated

Target: Incoming Corruption Wave

Compatibility: Increasing

The shadows collided with him. Pain exploded through his body, but he didn’t fall. Didn’t break. He absorbed it. All of it. The chamber went still. The eye watched. Closely. “…fascinating…”

Eddy stood there, breathing heavily. Alive. Changed. His shadow stretched unnaturally across the ground—larger now, deeper, almost detached.

The servant stared in disbelief. “…you’re… controlling it…”

Eddy didn’t answer. Because he could feel it. That shift again. The balance tipping. The line between control and consumption Blurring. “System…” he said quietly, “status.”

Host Condition: Stabilizing

Corruption Level: Rising – 27%

Warning: Threshold Approaching

“Twenty-seven…” Eddy muttered.

Too fast. Way too fast. The eye pulsed. “…you are incomplete…”

Eddy looked up. “What does that mean?”

A pause. Then, “…you are only half… of what you should be…”

The words hit harder than any attack. “What?”

The servant’s expression changed instantly. Shock. Recognition. “No…” he whispered.

Eddy turned. “What is it?”

But the servant didn’t answer. Because the system spoke first.

Hidden Data Unlocked

Bloodline Analysis: INCOMPLETE

Secondary Source: Missing

Eddy’s mind reeled. “Incomplete…?”

The eye gleamed. “…find the other half…”

The ground shook violently. The crack began to close. The creature, Retreating. “…or be consumed…”

“No, wait—!” Eddy stepped forward.

But it was already too late. The abyss sealed. The pressure vanished. The flame snapped back, flickering wildly. Silence fell. Heavy. Unnatural.

Eddy stood there, unmoving. His heart racing, His mind spinning. “…Master Eddy…” the servant said weakly, “…your mother…”

Eddy turned sharply. “What about her?”

The old man hesitated. Then, “She didn’t just leave you a ring.”

A pause. “She left you… unfinished.”

Eddy’s breath caught. “What does that mean?”

The servant opened his mouth to answer, but froze. His eyes widened in pure terror. Eddy felt it too. That shift. That presence. Not below. Not behind. But right beside him.

A whisper brushed against his ear. Soft. Cold. And unmistakably close. “…now… it’s my turn…”
