The large guy fell to the floor like a large slab of carcass together with the unconscious Lyka. Surprised, the smaller guy screamed. His condescending but calm demeanor was replaced by a grimace of hate when he saw his comrade drop to the floor.

“Emyl!” A scream escaped his throat.

“Do not move, monster!” Lance demanded. “Or I will shoot you next. Surrender quietly and there will be no further bloodshed.”

“Ha! Ha! Ha!” The smaller person laughed hard, his eyes weirdly looking at Lance with every intent to devour. “I am not used to hearing those words from a mere human being like yourself. You might be a trained soldier but your abilities do not compare to mine. I am immortal. I am Reagor, son of Chief Vaegon, the hunter of Consolacion Village.”

“I don’t care who you are but I am sure that my rifle can split your skull in half!” Lance responded, his aim steadied still on the Rakasha.
