Chapter Three:

Jackson Harrison walked out of the courtroom after his divorce from Emma Carter, the woman he loved and was loyal to, but she betrayed and humiliated him. He felt a deep sense of sadness engulfing him. He had loved Emma Carter with all his heart, and it was painful to see her happy with another man shortly after their separation.

But Emma Carter was extremely happy and embraced Edward tightly while Jackson Harrison looked at her with a heavy heart. He knew it was time to leave the past behind and move forward, but saying it was easier than doing it.

Emma approached Jackson and threw the ring in his face, saying, "Here's your ring; I no longer need it. Edward will be better and more valuable to me."

Jackson laughed loudly until people around them turned to look, and he whispered in her ear with a sinister tone, "You'll regret this later, and when that happens, Edward will discard you."

"He's just using you, just like the condom he used when he was with you in bed. It's a limited-time offer, and then he moves on to the next one."

Emma Carter felt anger towards Jackson and his arrogance, given what she had done to him and how she had humiliated him. Meanwhile, an expensive new car pulled up next to them, driven by Emma Carter's new friend (Edward).

"I think, Jack, if you worked your entire life without sleeping, you wouldn't be able to afford a car like this."

Emma replied sarcastically, "Of course, he only has enough for the kind of trash he wakes up for in the morning."

"What a pity; I can find you a job with me."

"I bought my car new, and it's very good. A Toyota Camry. The prices of Toyota Camry range from $25,000 to around $35,000."

He couldn't stop talking about the amount he spent on the car, presenting it to Jackson and Emma as if it were a valuable possession.

The 2023 Toyota Camry is a midsize car with a long history of fame and quality. It boasts an elegant design and reliable performance. It offers fuel-efficient performance with a variety of engine options, ranging from 4-cylinder engines to V6 engines for powerful performance.

But before Jackson Harrison could respond, another car came out of nowhere and collided with the expensive car, leading to the destruction of its original paint job. Edward was furious - who dared to do this to his new car?

When he stepped out to confront the driver, a stunning girl emerged from the other car and tightly embraced Jackson Harrison. It was Jack's sister, who had come to visit him after a long time.

"My dear, I've missed you!" the girl spoke while hugging him.

"Caroline! I've missed you too, my dear."

Caroline was shocked to see Jack's former wife here, and even more shocked when she saw Emma's new friend. She knew Jack had been struggling in life recently, and seeing him surrounded by such negativity broke her heart.

But Emma Carter didn't see it that way; she thought Jack had orchestrated this drama, bringing an actress to make her feel jealous and humiliated in public.

Emma clapped her hands as she walked towards Jackson and then said mockingly, "This is a very good play. It seems you planned this performance and brought an actress for us."

"You'll remain a loser, Jack, no matter what you do. You're just a poor loser."

Edward added, "They're just con artists, pretending. Maybe they want you to feel jealous, and then your plan will backfire."

Caroline was angry and about to speak, but Jackson held her hand, preventing her from intervening and talking.

Edward warned, "You! How dare you borrow a car to ram into my expensive car? I'll sue you and make you rot in jail."

"Show me how you'll do that, you nitwit," Jackson sneered.

Emma threatened, raising her finger in Jackson's face, "I know you're doing this to humiliate me in public, but you don't know me well and don't know what I can do to you!"

Jackson smiled with anger at his love for such a selfish and materialistic woman. "If I wanted to truly humiliate you, I would tell the court that I found my wife in another man's bed, moaning in his arms while they had passionate sex."

Inside, Jackson was shocked that Emma described him as a loser and a scammer, while her friend threatened legal action, and she stood there smiling in the corner.

But Jack wouldn't allow their words to reach him anymore. He had had enough already, and he wouldn't let Emma Carter and Edward destroy his life any further. With determination, Jack picked up the ring that Emma Carter had thrown at him and returned it to her. He said firmly, "I don't want this. I want to move forward in my life and not remember a person like you, cheap and weak. Don't think I'm weak, and I'll let what you did to me hold me back."

"Are you threatening?" Emma laughed.

To which Jackson added, his smile growing, "I'm not threatening; I'm executing."

He left them and walked away, putting his arm around Caroline's waist, and they headed to the car, their laughter echoing loudly.

While Emma Carter and her friend Edward drove away in their damaged cars, Jack turned to his sister with a sweet and bitter smile and said, "I've lost one of the best people in my life, but I've regained my sister once again. This is worth more than anything else."
