YOU WILL REGRET THIS DECISION

He had endured three solid years in prison just for his wife to be a free woman. With his medical skills in prison, he had been able to help a lot of wealthy people and had made billions of dollars, with the intention of coming back home to enjoy his life with his wife.

Ethan finally found his voice to speak again after a few seconds.

“I was in prison for three years because of you. I have taken the fall for you and served your sentence for you.

It is finally over. I come home to spend my life with you, and this is how you reject me.

Is this how you want to repay me for all the love and care I showed to you? . How could you be this cruel, Ava?!”

Ethan said with a serious face. He had just mustered courage to say this, although he still had some traces of a broken heart in his voice

Ava let out a mocking laugh.

“Listen here, I did not tell you to carry my cross for me. You did it out of your sheer stupidity, and I won't be to blame for it.,

I have made my decision that I am not going to be the wife of a broke man with a criminal record, so just get it,” Ava said, making a mocking face at Ethan

Ethan realised that Ava had come here to make fun of him and belittle him.

He just went speechless as he looked at Ava in shock.

He was down, and his eyes were filled with tears; it was just that he was trying so hard not to let them down his face.

Ava did not waste time. She stretched into the car and took out some papers, together with a pen, and handed them to Ethan.

Ethan took the papers hesitantly and read the heading.

“DIVORCE CONSENT AND AGREEMENT”... Ethan looked at the paper and then at Ava.

Ava maintained a stern face as he looked at Ethan.

Ethan hesitated for a moment as he thought about what he was going to do, but after a second thought, he signed the paper sadly.

His hand was visibly shaking as he signed.

“You are going to regret this, Ava. I promise you this. You will regret ever doing this,” Ethan said, sniffing hard.

Ava rolled her eyes and chuckled.

She did not even bother to reply to Ethan.

Ava checked the signature on the paper, making sure it was correct.

“I have to go meet the granddaughter of the WINSOR GROUP in a bid for a fifty million dollar deal…”

Ava said with a mocking smile to spite Ethan as she opened her car door.

“I will finalise the divorce, and you will get the notification on when you will finish the rest of the procedures,” Ava said and got into her car, starting the engine.

Ethan looked on, too dumbfounded to speak.

He watched as Ava drove away at top speed, leaving a plume of dust behind.

He closed his eyes for a second, and as if by magic, regrets, pain, and sadness swept over him.

He found tears flowing from his eyes in a split second out of deep pain

Before Ethan could move out of where he stood with his broken heart, a black sedan arrived right in front of him, at the same spot Ava’s car had just left.

Mr. Frost got out of the car and looked at Ethan. He recognised him easily with the description the guard at the gate had given him.

Mr. Frost spoke in a calm manner.

“Dr. Ethan. I came to see you. I am terminally ill, and I know you are the only one who can heal me. Please help me. Please save my life,” Mr. Frost pleaded as he looked at Ethan humbly.

Ethan, who had just been ignored and divorced by his wife, looked at the man with no pity.

He was brokenhearted, and the man’s words felt like nonsense to his ears at that moment.

“I am in no mood to cure anyone,” Ethan simply replied, uninterested.

Mr. Frost pulled out a black card from his purse and handed it over to Ethan.

“This is a black card worth ten billion dollars. Please take this and heal me, please,” Mr. Frost said pleadingly.

Ethan slowly pushed the card back.

“Your disease is not that deadly yet,” Ethan said and walked away, leaving Mr. Frost to himself.

He walked shabbily with sore red eyes and trails of tears on his face. and looked so lost.

Mr. Frost let out a sigh and looked at Ethan as he walked away.

He could not understand what kind of a man Ethan was, who could reject ten billion dollars just like that and talk of an ex-convict like him.

As a successful businessman and a billionaire, he was used to always rejecting people, but today he has been rejected by someone.

Mr. Frost shook his head in pity for himself.

Then, looking at Ethan as he left, an idea popped up in his head suddenly.
