"I wouldn't have Albern if it were a betrayal of the trust we have had all these years."

Albern was in his office then, and a man was with him.

The older man looked at Albern with a look of dissatisfaction on his face.

"I don't want to betray our agreement; it's still early. I promised them they would be together when they were 21 while they were both still 20. It's too early for you to keep your promise." Albern said casually since he had not yet broken any promises.

"You're right. There's still a year, but will you be able to get your granddaughter away from that woman in a year? I'm not a fool, Albern, my eyes are not just one!" complained the old man named William, looking at his best friend, who was starting to play tricks on him.

"My grandson is not a man to be carried away by love alone!"

Albern said firmly to William. He did not want to be belittled for being unable to keep his word.
