CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

PREPARATIONS II

Elliot was wishing that he was doing something battle related or maybe fighting off a wild beast instead of sitting in the palace all day to watch the way workers scurried about to prepare for the ball, he watched them from his room window that was high up in the castle. The courtyard was filled with decorations and fancy designs that would beautify the grand hall that would be used for the ball, Elliot had little or no interest in anything regarding the opposite sex and he didn’t even know what his type would look like.

“All that I want is a woman that is beautiful and won’t get in my way or interrupt my daily activities, I heard that some women are everyday attention seekers and they will never leave your side even if you are working” Elliot spoke with fear to his closest friend that he had in the palace and also the head of the guards, Mark.

“That is not a lie at all, my woman always whines and cries for attention…almost like a cat or should I say a baby” Mark smile
