I finally found someone cheerful who gave me the items for credit. Then I started searching for the place to lay the trap. After searching for a long time I found the ideal isolated location for the trap. I took the shovel and started digging to make the trap. After laying the trap in place, I went to the shabby hut that probably belonged to me and slept in the shaky bed somehow.
The next day
I woke up and got ready for the trap I had set to work. Then as expected the burly man came and asked me “Do you have any quests for me” and I replied, “I lost my stick can you find it for me.“He once again muttered, “This better have a good reward or else…”
A few minutes later
I saw him return to the previous battered state without the stick again. The man came and said again, “I could not find the stick, can you give me the reward anyway”. This time I replied differently “Another person managed to get the stick before you but I appreciate your hard work. There is a rumor that there is a weapon that will help its owner reach great powers in a cave nearby. It will help you in your journey.”I saw the player’s eyes full of greed for a split second but I was not surprised since I thought ‘ even I would be greedy for such a weapon but I knew it was a lie while he did not.’
He requested me to show the cave as expected and I showed it to him and said “I am not allowed to pass this village premises, so you should continue alone.”The Burly player did something that was not according to the plan he pulled me along with him even when I insisted I will be punished for leaving. I thought ‘ Although it was not according to plan I decided to go with what would happen since there was not any other option.’
When we reached the cave he took me along with him. I solidified my mind with the idea that I would go down with him hoping that the mission would still be considered successful. Then when we both walked on into the trap we both fell to the glasses positioned in such a way that the man would die. I felt a pain that was more painful than getting punched to death by the burly player. Then my mind went blank with the image of the player in shock before disappearing into particles and I died for the 3rd time that day.
