"Five more minutes!" he thought as he tightly wrapped his bedsheet around himself. Suddenly recalling Calloway's words, he muttered, "Fuck! Today is a disaster. I have so much to do... First, I need to call Alex." He then gently pushed himself up, stretched his entire body like a cat, and flexed his muscles in the morning light and radiating his perfect features. Then he opened a fridge and pulled out a half-drunk bottle, twisted the blue cap, and sipped the cold water on an empty stomach. On the other hand, he scrolled his phone and noticed a Lyra good morning text. "Astrid! Astrid!" A male voice called out, a lower tone at a distance pulling her from a deep, tangled sleep. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, watching the grey-coloured ceiling. The memory of the rain, wind, dark night and the approaching car slowly vanished into reality; she was wrapped in a soft woollen bedsheet and surrounded by a natural scenery view. Finally, her focus landed on Ewan Bright's face with a warm morning smile."Ugh! You intentionally came late that night! asshole!" Astrid hissed, twisted her upper lip and rolled her eyes upwards. Then she immediately turned her back to him."Why? What happened? Did I do anything wrong this time?" Ewan asked, a genuine confusion etched across his features, wondering what offence he'd committed to provoke her irritation."Nothing! Men are nothing but just disappointed!" Astrid yelled in a low tone and hugged a bedsheet tightly to her chest, feeling the warmth."Huh? Why? Who disappointed you now?" Ewan asked, still with the same confu
