Chapter sixty four

I returned from the restaurant with Clarissa. She was so happy throughout even until we reached home.

I couldn't believe this was the same person I was who had hated her in the past. Why was I fast falling for her?

"Um... Walker? Why aren't you coming in?" I heard Clarissa ask me.

Her voice brought me back into reality and made me realize I had gotten lost in thought and had stopped at the door.

"Oh! Sorry about that. I kind of zoned out there." I told Clarissa and walked into the mansion.

"Hey," I said. "Yes?" Clarissa answered while turning to face me.

I thought about it again and again. Maybe I should tell Clarissa about my feelings for her. But what if she tries to take advantage of me through it? What if she doesn't feel the same way at all?

The last thing I would want right now is a one-sided relationship...

"Sir?" Clarissa said.

"Hm? Nothing. Never mind that. Just go to your room." I said to Clarissa.
