Rini frowned as she saw her mistress looking very surprised by the necklace given by Albert. She immediately placed the back of her hand on Astrid's forehead.

"Not hot, but why is Miss talking nonsense?" Rini asked herself, looking confused.

Astrid grabbed Rini's hand and held it tightly. "You... I'm not sick! Quickly tell me where you got that necklace?" she asked curiously.

"Miss, do you want this necklace? I'm sorry, but I can't give it to you, just ask for something else," Rini said while lowering her head.

Astrid sighed softly, she held Rini's shoulders and said, "I won't ask for it, it's just that the necklace is very valuable, you must take good care of it and don't take it out of the house."

"Valuable?" Rini laughed softly, shaking her head, "Miss, this is just a toy necklace, how could it be valuable?"

Astrid tapped Rini's forehead with her index finger. "I'm serious, that necklace is made of white gold and the pendant is a diamond from The Rock, it's worth 8 million dollars on the market."

"E-Eight million dollars?!" Rini's eyes widened in shock, she grabbed the necklace with trembling hands and swallowed hard, unable to believe it.

Astrid nodded slowly. "Quickly tell me where you got it?"

Rini stared at Astrid and opened her mouth. "It came from...."

"Sir, Miss does not wish to meet anyone!" Suddenly, Firman's voice was heard as he entered with Gerald and his two children.

Astrid turned, and upon seeing her uncle, she gave Rini a signal to go to the back and glared at the middle-aged man.

Gerald and his two children brought gifts; the three of them stood in front of Rini with meaningful smiles.

"Miss, they forced their way in, I couldn't stop them," Firman said helplessly.

"It's okay, you go out," Astrid ordered softly but firmly.

Firman nodded in understanding, he slightly bowed and then left, casting a cynical glance at Gerald and his two children.

Gerald and his two children immediately sat down enthusiastically, he handed over the gifts they brought to the table.

"Astrid, Uncle has seen the announcement from Yanaga Corporation, you have secured that collaboration contract. How about inviting your two younger siblings to work on this project?" Gerald said gently while smiling.

Yandi quickly added, "Sister, I will definitely work as hard as I can, you won't regret recruiting me for this project."

Revalina nodded enthusiastically before speaking, "Brother Handi may not be very smart, but he is very good as a supervisor, and as for me, you know very well that I am the top graduate in Financial Management at the number one university in our country. I can help you with this skill."

"Really, you won't be disappointed with the two of them," Gerald replied enthusiastically, hoping his two children could secure positions in the project.

Astrid narrowed her eyes, crossed her arms in front of her chest, and said sarcastically, "Aren't you the ones who didn’t support me in getting a position in the family company from the start?"

"Hais, what are you talking about? Weren't we the ones who pushed you to get that contract? From the beginning, we believed that you could achieve it," Gerald said, still trying to flatter her.

Handi and Revalina also nodded their heads enthusiastically; both of them wanted a position in that incredibly valuable project.

Astrid looked closely at the three of them, knowing they only wanted to take advantage of her, but if she refused, her grandfather would surely be angry and her position in the Ramon family would become even more threatened.

Taking a deep breath, Astrid finally spoke. "I will think about a suitable position for you, I will contact you later."

Gerald and his two children exchanged glances, and the three of them smiled meaningfully, knowing that Astrid was indeed very easy to deceive.

"My sister is indeed very understanding, I promise to give my best when working later!" said Handi loudly.

Revalina did not want to be outdone. "I also will not let you down, I will pour everything into this project!"

"Since it's been decided, we will take our leave now. Thank you, Astrid," said Gerald as he stood up.

Handi and Revalina also thanked her, looking very sincere, while in their hearts, they had already planned something to get Astrid into trouble.

Astrid, who was unaware of this, just smiled and nodded, then asked Rini to escort them out.

The three of them left Astrid's house, and before exiting, Gerald smirked slightly, thinking to himself, "You are indeed as foolish as your parents, Astrid. This project will be the end of your career!"

Astrid let out a sigh of relief, leaning back on the sofa while rubbing the bridge of her nose. Although she knew they would cause trouble, she did not know how to prevent it.

"No wonder, Miss is always oppressed by them." Suddenly, Albert's voice was heard.

Astrid immediately sat up straight and turned toward the voice, seeing Albert leaning against the wall while eating an apple.
