After the battle James was exhausted but when he levelled up, he felt refreshed and after the system notification he left the valley and as he left the valley he received a notification.

He dropped the children off at their homes without alerting anyone which was easy for someone at his level.He had wanted to drop them off at the hunter association but he didn't want to explain anything and he didn't have much time left.

After dropping them off he went to their house, and by the time he reached he only had 10 seconds left so he went straight to his bed and lied down which caused him to fall asleep.

When the timer reached zero a blue cocoon firmed around him and if one looked closely they would see that it was made of blue lightening and as time passed it grew brighter.

While James was awakening his ability, in a mansion there were 5 people sitting around a large table discussing something.

"I have gathered you all here today because of the strange activities of the monsters, and I think the monster king is planning an attack so I suggest that you put your differences aside for the sake of our people ". One of the men who looked to be the leader said.

"I agree with city lord and I hope that everyone will too for the sake of our people ".Another man said.

"Do you really think that it's that easy to forget what you did General Ivar" A Scarface man said with a slight tone of anger in his voice.

"You don't have the qualification to say that General Roku after nearly abandoning us in battle" Another General said with dissatisfaction.

"Will you guys stop arguing like a bunch of babies and just work together or do you want me to convince you" A woman's voice sounded at a corner of the room as a beautiful woman appeared.

The woman looked weak but only the generals and the city lord knew how dangerous she was.

"Mom what are you doing here? " The city lord asked with slight fear in his voice.

"Did you really think that I would not notice the appearance of a monster king" The woman said after taking a seat near the city lord.

"The monster king will be at least a rank 5(level 50) and you are at the peak of rank 4(level 45–50) we may have to ask him for help. The city lord said and this time the fear was evident in his voice.

"Do you have to talk about him like that,he is your father after all". the woman said with a smile.

After discussing for some time they all returned to their houses but the woman remained behind.

"So what do you think?." The woman asked as she glanced at her side.As she said that an old man appeared out of thin air and smiled as he replied.

"I believe that there is something more terrifying behind the activities so I will make a journey to an old friend because we do not have much time " After saying that he vanished.

While the city was in immenint danger, James was still awakening.He was asleep but he felt his consciousness slip from his body, and he appeared in a forest which he did not recognize.

As he was wondering where he was he heard a voice which sounded like the system's behind him..

As he turned he saw a handsome man who was covered in a white light standing on front of him.

"Who are you and where am I" James asked as he became on alert.

"I am the system and you are in the a virtual simulation that will determine if you are ready to inherit the power of Zeus"The system said with a smile on his face.

As James listened he became shocked because he had no idea which power of Zeus the system was talking about but he suddenly remembered the awakening gem,he had many questions that he wanted to ask but he knew that he should complete the task first.

"Okay what do I do to gain this power" James said as he finished thinking because to become stronger you will have to overcome struggles .

"It's good that you are ready to complete the task but let me warn you about the dangers,there will be various obstacles that will want to prevent you from completing your mission but my advice to you is to always keep a calm mind when faced with difficult situations and good luck "The system dissapeared after wishing him good luck.

"Wait what do I do?" James asked after the system left because he didn't know what to do.

"DING"

[DEFEAT 10 LEVEL 50 CLONES ]

Immediately the notification sounded 10 clones that looked just like James appeared and 9 rushed upon him before he could react.

He managed to push back 5 of them but then he had to fight against 4 more he used his overwhelming strength to punch the first one in the head which exploded,then he kicked the second one in the stomach which caused it to crash on a tree he then twisted his body and grabbed the remaining two on the head and smashed them on the ground.

After killing 4 of them he didn't pause but just kicked the ground and used the momentum to boost himself off the ground and rushed at the ones he had pushed back.

He finished the remaining 5 and as he was waiting for the system notification to show that he had completed the task,he suddenly remembered that he had only killed 9 of them.

Before he could search for it he heard a sound at his back so he turned and that was when he saw the last one only a 3 feet away from him with a dagger aiming at his neck.
