Witness

Erelah POV

The surroundings were quiet and I could feel the eyes of the people inside the court watching me go to the witness stand. My eyes caught Damon and his still cold aura. I took a deep breath when I stood on the witness stand and like the previous witness, the clerk approached me.

"Raise your right hand. Do you promise that the testimony you shall give in the case before this court shall be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you, God?" It asked me.

"I do," I said without hesitation.

"Please state your first and last name." The clerk told me again.

"Hey Donovan," I answered, after that the clerk made me sit down, and then the lawyer of the other side came over. I swallowed first and looked for a moment at Damon's emotionless behavior while looking at me. I again focused my attention on the lawyer speaking.

"Ms. Erelah, what is your job?" It asked me.

"Cashier at a coffee shop." My answer.

"Based on the record given to me, you said you worked as Damon
