"Leave this forest immediately, or I will destroy both of you!" roared Sarwana. His thundering voice seemed to shake the hearts of the two warriors.
Darmawisesa refused to let his effort to obtain the Sky Dragon Sword go to waste, and Kelana Jati felt the same way. However, the real problem was that the energy possessed by the giant ape far exceeded the combined martial prowess of the two warriors. "Anyone who dares to go deeper into this forest must face me. I will not allow anyone to cause chaos in my domain!" Sarwana declared, both a warning and a threat. Meanwhile, Arya, who was deeply focused on his training, was startled by the sudden appearance of the giant dragon he had encountered the previous night. Unlike its calm demeanor the night before, when it had seen him off, the dragon now appeared with blazing red eyes radiating fury. "So, you didn’t leave this place after all! Your training has disturbed my rest!" the dragon bellowed. Arya stared at the dragon in confusion. He was certain he hadn't disturbed anyone, as his training was silent. He even used light-body techniques to move swiftly without creating noise. "I apologize if my training here has disturbed you. I will leave immediately," Arya replied. He wanted to avoid a conflict with the dragon, knowing full well that he would likely suffer a crushing defeat—or worse, death. "Do you think you can leave so easily after disturbing me? You must face a severe punishment!" the dragon retorted. Arya swallowed hard, unsure of how to calm the creature's wrath. Fighting was an option, but with what? He had only just mastered a single martial move—and even that was far from perfect. Though skilled in light-body techniques, Arya doubted he could match the dragon’s speed. Before he could respond, the dragon, standing merely four meters away, suddenly lashed out its long tail with incredible speed. Arya, unprepared for the attack, took the full brunt of the blow to his right shoulder. Braaak! "Aaaakh!" Arya’s body was flung sideways, tumbling several times across the dusty ground. His sweat-soaked clothes were now caked with dirt. He grimaced, clutching his chest to endure the pain. As a novice in martial arts, he had yet to learn how to channel his inner energy to alleviate such pain. "Stand up! Don’t be weak if you claim to be a warrior!" the dragon roared. Its massive form, three times the size of a fully grown elephant, shot forward and stopped a few meters in front of Arya. Refusing to be seen as weak, Arya forced himself to stand. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, a sign of internal injury. "I am not weak!" he shouted defiantly, his sharp eyes locking onto the dragon, who sneered back at him. Arya readied himself, fully alert to anticipate the dragon's next move. "Let’s see how long you can last!" the dragon taunted. Before it finished speaking, its tail struck again. Though Arya saw the attack coming, he lacked the strength to dodge. His only option was to raise both arms in front of his chest to defend himself. Closing his eyes, he braced for the impact of the dragon's tail. But his defense proved futile. Once again, he was hurled backward, tumbling across the ground. This time, though Arya avoided internal injuries, his arms throbbed in excruciating pain. He had anticipated the dragon's immense strength and tried to prepare, but it was no use. His inability to fully harness his inner energy left him vulnerable to the creature’s relentless assaults. The dragon lunged again, this time hovering five meters above Arya’s fallen body. "Get up, weakling! I’m not done punishing you yet!" it bellowed. Its long tail descended swiftly, aiming to crush Arya. But this time, Arya managed to roll away just in time, evading the deadly strike. Blaaar! The dragon’s tail slammed into the ground with an explosive force, creating a wide, deep crater. Thick clouds of dust billowed upward, momentarily obscuring the dragon’s view. Seizing the opportunity, Arya launched a counterattack. His experience leaping through the branches of large trees allowed him to move effortlessly. With a swift leap, he landed on the dragon's back while it was still airborne. "I’ll show you that I am not weak!" Arya declared, placing his palm on the dragon's neck. "Great Dragon Palm!" he shouted, channeling all his inner energy into his right hand. The dragon only realized Arya's position as the young warrior yelled out his technique. It tried to turn its head, but before it could react, a powerful force struck its back. Blaaar! A deafening explosion erupted in the sky. Arya was flung backward from the impact, plummeting toward the ground. At the last moment, he managed to steady himself, avoiding a hard landing. The dragon's flight wavered as it felt the force of Arya’s attack—not out of pain but sheer surprise. The young warrior had used a dragon-themed technique against it. Descending to the ground, the dragon landed near Arya, who was still catching his breath. "Did you think your feeble attack could pierce my skin? Let me tell you, that technique of yours is incomplete, young one." Arya furrowed his brow, puzzled by how the dragon knew his technique was unfinished. At the same time, he wondered how he could possibly defeat it if his one move had no effect. "Don’t look so shocked, young one. If you perfect that technique, you might be able to scratch my skin," the dragon said, its massive body shifting as if to demonstrate its unscathed state. "Now, prepare yourself for my next attack!"Latest Chapter
Last Message (The End)
Jalu approached one of the corpses he had spotted and knelt beside it. His hand moved, searching for evidence inside the uniform worn by the man, who appeared to be less than thirty years old. From his experience destroying four academies that refused to submit to him, every member of an academy usually possessed a special mark. It could be a tattoo or a seal, usually in the form of a metal plate."Hmmm... what's this symbol?" Jalu muttered softly when he saw a symbol depicting a mountain encircled by flames on the left chest of the corpse. The eighteen-year-old then glanced at the other corpse and walked towards the one lying face down. Without hesitation, he flipped the body over to confirm his suspicion. Yes. Jalu suspected that the image of the mountain encircled by flames was the emblem of an academy."Turns out I was right." Again, the handsome young warrior muttered to himself. But what confused him was that there were no inscriptions to indicate the name of the academy or its
Seeking Clues
"You're just courting death!" scoffed the robber leader, not even breaking a sweat as several villagers attempted to attack him. He swung his greatsword, a cruel smile plastered on his lips. One by one, the villagers fell. Blood from gaping wounds stained the street, the site of the unbalanced battle, crimson. The inevitable cries of the women echoed as they watched their husbands, brothers, fathers, and sons fall, bathed in blood. It was truly a brutal massacre they were witnessing. If these cruel individuals had been a mere band of robbers, there might have been some semblance of balance, even with the villagers fighting unarmed. However, because the robber gang originated from a dark sect academy, the disparity was stark. The two hundred male villagers who initially resisted dwindled rapidly. In less than half an hour, the village had lost its men. Now, the strategically located village was more aptly called a village of widows, such was the number of women left to mourn their husb
Mass Murder
The tall, large-bodied man's voice was so loud that it could be heard from dozens of meters away. All members of the robber gang who heard it instantly directed their gaze at him, before turning to Darmono and Ayu Wulandari who were running away towards the village exit.More than twenty members rushed to chase. Their quick and simultaneous steps caused dust to fly and be left behind. Like it or not they had to be able to catch the two humans who were trying to escape, rather than getting a heavy punishment from their leader if they failed.Finding their escape known by the robber gang, Darmono and Ayu Wulandari panicked half to death. Both of them tried to speed up their running pace with the aim of not being caught. However, the physical differences between men and women were clearly there. Moreover, Ayu Wulandari was only a spoiled girl who had almost never run until her age of 17 years at this time. The beautiful girl could not run any further even though she had managed to get ou
Robbery
The sound of horses' hooves pounding the ground was clearly heard leaving dust flying billowing thickly. The leader who was left behind grinned widely imagining the great results of his men's work. The village that was the target of their barbarity this time was a strategic and crowded area. Newcomers came and went alternately every time. Some small and large inns were always filled, especially in the harvest seasons. It was not without reason that the village named Sukamakmur was crowded, its position flanked by two large dukedoms and located in the middle of a vast forest was the cause. From one dukedom to another could take two days and two nights of travel, and Sukamakmur village was always the destination to stay overnight rather than being caught in the forest at night. As soon as they entered the village gate, the situation looked very deserted and completely quiet. There was no activity at all that could be captured by the eyes of each member of the robber gang.Apparently the
Curiosity
Dharmawangsa was amazed by Jalu's body endurance that was able to withstand the effects of Nyi Saraswati's poison. Although he did not know exactly what kind of poison was in Jalu's body, he could already estimate how much power and strength the poison had. He saw it from Jalu's pale face, as well as the emergence of some green veins on the handsome young man's face. Not wanting Jalu to struggle alone against the poison that nested in his body, Dharmawangsa tried to channel his energy to help remove the poison. But what happened made him even frown."Impossible! There must be something wrong."Dharmawangsa was curious, because it turned out that Jalu's body rejected the energy he channeled, and that clearly made it difficult for him to think clearly. How could the body of the young warrior who had stirred up the martial world not want to receive the flow of his energy. It was not Dharmawangsa's name if he gave up just like that. For the second time he channeled his energy again into J
Adverse Impact II
Dharmawangsa's face turned red burning with emotion. If it was himself who was insulted it might not be a problem, but if it was his teacher who was insulted, then the person who insulted him was obliged to be killed. Not excluding Ageng Wicaksono."That mouth of yours cannot be allowed to remain intact Ageng Wicaksono! Now it's my turn to attack you bastard!" Dharmawangsa moved quickly attacking Ageng Wicaksono after speaking. The silver sword in his hand looked to release a bright white light that dazzled the eyes. That could be understood considering that the Silver sword he was using had qualified quality."How could it be?" Ageng Wicaksono was captivated by the brightness of the light that came out of the Silver sword. Because all this time he had never known about the original privilege of the sword that had made him a traitor. Even Dharmawangsa and his teacher had never shown it to him."Damn!"As a result of being captivated by the privilege of the Silver sword, Ageng Wicakson
