Tyson froze the moment the system warning appeared. “WARNING: HIGH-RISK TARGET APPROACHING”

His heartbeat slowed instead of speeding up. That was one thing the system had already changed about him. When danger appeared, His mind became colder, Sharper.

Janet was already walking toward the massive glass window of her office, unaware of the danger outside.

The top floor of Redd Tower overlooked the entire city skyline. Glass walls. A breathtaking view. But right now, it was the worst possible place to stand.

Tyson’s eyes locked onto the glowing message inside his vision. Then another alert appeared. “Future Prediction – 60 Seconds”

The world flickered. And the future unfolded. Janet is walking toward the window. A faint red dot appeared on Tyson’s chest. A suppressed gunshot. Glass cracking.

Blood spraying across the office floor. The vision ended. Tyson moved instantly. “DOWN!”

Janet barely had time to react before Tyson lunged forward and tackled her to the floor. CRASH!

The window behind them exploded. A bullet tore through the glass and slammed into the wall across the office.

Shards of glass rained down everywhere. Janet gasped in shock. “What the ?!”

Tyson pulled her behind the large desk. “Sniper.”

Janet’s eyes widened. “You’re serious?!”

Another shot rang out. CRACK!

The second bullet punched through the shattered window. Tyson grabbed Janet’s arm. “Stay low.”

Janet’s bodyguards burst into the office instantly. Weapons drawn. “Miss Reddington!”

“Sniper!” Tyson shouted.

The men immediately moved into position. One of them rushed to close the blinds. Another grabbed Janet. “Ma’am, we need to evacuate!”

Janet’s eyes were still wide with shock. “You tackled me before the shot.”

Tyson ignored the question. He carefully peeked above the desk. The system activated again. “Future Prediction – 60 Seconds”

The sniper is adjusting his scope. Another shot is fired. Tyson ducked just as the bullet shattered the top of the desk.

Wood splintered across the room. Janet’s bodyguards cursed. “Damn it!”

Tyson spoke quickly. “He’s across the street.”

One of the guards frowned. “How do you know?”

Tyson pointed toward a tall black skyscraper about six hundred meters away. “The rooftop.”

The guard grabbed binoculars. He looked. Then swore. “He’s right.”

The sniper was already repositioning. Professional. Fast, the guard spoke into his radio. “Team Alpha, rooftop of the Valence Tower!”

Janet finally caught her breath. Her gaze turned toward Tyson again. “You saw it before it happened.”

Tyson met her eyes. “It’s just instinct.”

Janet clearly didn’t believe that. But another bullet shattered the remains of the window before she could question him further.

Tyson’s system flashed again. “Threat Probability Rising”

The sniper wasn’t here just to scare them. He was trying to finish the job Donald started. Janet’s lead bodyguard cursed. “We need to move her now!”

He turned to Janet. “Ma’am, the underground garage is safer.”

Janet nodded. “Let’s go.”

The team quickly formed a protective circle around her. Tyson followed as they rushed toward the office door.

But before leaving, he glanced back toward the shattered window. Across the city skyline He could just barely see a small reflection.

The sniper scope. The man watching them. Tyson narrowed his eyes. Then the system spoke again. “New Ability Progress: Combat Prediction – 5%”

Tyson felt something shift inside his mind. The system was learning. Adapting, the elevator ride down felt painfully slow.

Janet’s bodyguards held their weapons ready. Everyone was tense. Janet stood silently beside Tyson. Then she spoke quietly. “You saved my life.”

Tyson shrugged slightly. “You saved my parents first.”

Janet studied him. “That doesn’t explain how you predicted the bullet.”

Tyson remained calm. “You hired bodyguards for a reason.”

Janet smirked faintly. “They didn’t see it coming.”

Tyson didn’t respond. The elevator doors opened into the underground garage. A convoy of armored SUVs was already waiting.

The guards quickly escorted Janet toward the vehicles. Tyson’s parents were also brought down by another security team. His mother immediately rushed over. “Tyson!”

He hugged her quickly. “We’re leaving.”

His father looked nervous. “Are we safe?”

Tyson hesitated. “No.”

His father’s face went pale. Janet overheard the conversation. She turned toward Tyson. “You think Donald sent the sniper.”

Tyson nodded. “Yes.”

Janet sighed. “That man really doesn’t like losing.”

Tyson replied quietly. “He’s not the only one.”

Janet frowned. “What do you mean?” Tyson’s system flashed again.”New Threat Analysis’’

A message appeared. “Unknown Organization Observing User’’

Tyson’s stomach tightened. Donald Ford was dangerous. But the system was warning him about something else entirely.

Something bigger. One of Janet’s guards opened the SUV door. “Ma’am.”

Janet nodded. She stepped inside. Then looked at Tyson. “Get in.”

Tyson hesitated. Janet raised an eyebrow. “You just survived an assassination attempt.”

She gestured toward the seat beside her. “You’re not riding a delivery bike today.”

Tyson chuckled. “Fair enough.”

He helped his parents into another vehicle. Then, Janet entered her SUV. The convoy began moving out of the underground garage.

Janet looked out the window silently. Then she spoke again. “You know what’s strange?”

Tyson glanced at her. “What?”

“You don’t look scared.”

Tyson thought about it. Then answered honestly. “I was.”

Janet raised an eyebrow. “Was?”

Tyson looked down at his hands. “But now I’m angry.”

Janet nodded slowly. “I understand that feeling.”

The convoy drove through the busy city streets. But far above them, on the rooftop of the Valence Tower, the sniper slowly packed up his rifle.

A calm voice spoke through his earpiece. “Report.”

The sniper replied calmly. “The target survived.”

There was silence on the line for several seconds. Then the voice spoke again. “Interesting.”

The sniper slung the rifle case over his shoulder. “What are the next orders?”

The mysterious voice answered quietly. “Observe him.”

“Why?”

A soft chuckle echoed through the earpiece. “Because a delivery boy who can dodge sniper bullets…”

The voice paused. “…is someone worth studying?”

Meanwhile, inside the moving SUV, Tyson suddenly felt the system activate again. A new message appeared. “System Upgrade Available”

Tyson blinked. The glowing interface expanded. “Upgrade Option: Extend Future Prediction Current Limit: 60 Seconds Upgrade: 90 Seconds Cost: Mission Completion Required”

Tyson leaned back slowly. Because he was beginning to understand something terrifying. If his ability grew stronger…

He wouldn’t just be reacting to danger. He would be controlling it. And somewhere out there, Powerful people had already started watching him.

The delivery boy who could see the future. And the war around him had only just begun.
