The masked man and Eleanor were now seated, facing each other. Looking straight into her eyes, he stretched his hands and lent her his phone.

Eleanor collected the phone, looking straight at the screen where the number was displayed.

"Who exactly is this person?" Eleanor asked curiously, trying to confirm who she was going to be meeting.

But the masked man insisted on not exposing anything. Instead, he instructed her to do as he said without any more questioning.

"Just do as I say. When you get there, you will surely know who you are up against. Though, I would like to give you a hint—the person should be one of your colleagues. You have both worked together for Voss."

The masked man gave Eleanor a hint, but she still couldn’t grasp who exactly he was talking about. Eleanor was puzzled and dazed. Asking

Give me the knife," Victor demanded. Sophia's hands trembled as she stretched the knife towards Victor's. Victor chuckled with a smirk, then collected it from her hands.“Scared of some cuts, huh? You have to be stronger than this, Sophia,” Victor chuckled. And just immediately, Victor slid his thumb as well, and a slight blood gushed out from the injury. And with this, he placed his hands, and so his blood tomb fingerprint was taken. After this, Victor shifted his gaze to the man who was seated facing them with a nose mask as he said,"The side of our agreement is now sealed, as promised," Victor said, then handed the documents to the man.The man ch

  • Chapter 233: Trading for Trading

Victor and Sophia sat on one of the seats arranged in the place, which looked like a garden, patiently waiting for the man.Sophia ogled at the beautiful environment, and she was stunned that a place like this actually existed in the city. She had traveled to places around the city, but had never come across a place which got her attention so sucked in astonishment.Sophia shifted her gaze to Victor, who was beside her, as she said, “Do you think this would actually work out? What if this man we are about to meet ends up being a deceiver? What if the intel at which he had claimed to get was all fake?”“Silence, Sophia,” Victor reckoned towards Sophia, with a shifted dagger-like gaze, his eyes filled with disgust, as if he wanted to pierce into Sophia's retina. After Victor's raging voice sounded, he took a deep breath, then spoke. “Let's do as the man says, and let's see how it plays for us. In a game, there's always a loser, so if we lose now and end up giving up the company, then w

“What’s wrong with the dress I’m wearing?” Sophia asked, raising a brow at Victor. She was baffled about what was actually wrong with what she was wearing; she was just trying to look good as usual, the slay queen she was. “This is the first time we are meeting the person we are going to see, and you want to seduce him with your damn ass laps? What if he changed his impression toward you as a trade for the information he was to share with us?” Victor questioned, his voice slightly raised. Sophia chuckled before responding, “Ooh, I thought you didn't love me as your sister, but funny enough, you care about me.”“Yes, indeed I care, and that's why I want your silly ass to go change those clothes and wear something more decent.”“Okay, I understand. I'm going to go change it,” Sophia replied with a sigh, narrowing her eyes as she got back into the mansion to go change into something appropriate, as Victor had instructed. “Ooh God, how sure am I that I’m not making a mistake by making

“I have given her the medication required for her recovery for now, and let's see how it plays out," the doctor replied."Yeah, thank you for making it up to come check on Fiona," Nathan thanked the doctor, and with a smile the doctor replied. "It's nothing, sir. You have helped me so many times, and me reciprocating it back is a privilege," the doctor replied.Nathan smiled at the doctor's words, and so the doctor left."When she's awake, let me know," Nathan instructed Shinda, then walked out of the room."--"The room, filled with the smell of whisky and the clouding smoke from the cigarettes, dangles in the air, as if blended with the wind. Hazel, listening to all that Fiona had said, felt pity for her. She knows what a love of a mother was, and she knew if she had experienced the love of her mother, it would be one of the best things she would ever have wanted. So the story was similar to hers, as she could relate to what Fiona was saying."Ma'am, please, stay calm. Nothing will happen to your daughter. I will make sure she stays safe with me.""What's wrong if she stays safe with me instead?" Fiona snapped, raising her head abruptly as it shifted to Hazel."Yes, of course you would keep her safe as well, but not in a time like this. She's safer with us," Hazel replied with a grin.Fiona gasped, pushing her head downwards. At this time, Fiona was already done eating.
