"Boss, you are on your feet!" Slick Sal was the first to react in disbelief.

He was the closest to the Boss and could be referred to as the right-hand man of the underground king.

Offending him was the same as stepping on the toes of Mr. Jafari King.

Even the other men in the room couldn't help but let down their guard and stare in utter shock.

Everyone was aware of the Boss' condition and how he had started using a chair five years ago.

Not once had Mr. Jafari attempted to stand, but today, he casually did, as though it were normal.

"Hundreds of certified doctors have entered this room to diagnose me, but they were all profiteers or fame seekers. Today, I've met a different man." Mr. Jafari got closer to Elijah and added, "I might not be fully crippled, but I feel the constant twitch in my foot bone when I walk. I might as well pretend to be crippled before it gets worse."
