Title: The Ultimate Tycoon's System Audit Genre: Urban / Drama / System Synopsis For five years, Jin was a loyal "live-in boyfriend," working eighty-hour weeks as a low-level clerk and scrubbing floors to pay off his girlfriend Min-ah’s family debts. But the night he bought an engagement ring, his world shattered. After discovering a secret $3 Billion money-laundering scheme at work, he caught Min-ah in the arms of the billionaire director and boss, Kang Tae-sung. Discarded like trash by the woman he loved, Jin was framed for theft and left to bleed out on a rainy bridge by corporate thugs sent by his boss to silent him. Instead of dying, a freak electrical surge wakes a cold, mechanical power in his mind: The Sovereign Auditor System. With a glowing crimson clock counting down his final 24 hours of life, Jin must audit his betrayers to survive. The rules are simple: the more arrogant his enemies act, the greater the wealth and lifespan Jin gets when he exposes them. Armed with the unstoppable Eye of Truth, Jin launches an absolute counter-strike—climbing from a left-for-dead clerk to a global tycoon who bankrups international shipping syndicates and trillion-dollar shadow banking cartels. Yesterday, they treated him like a dog and left him to die in the rain. Today, he owns their entire lives.

Chapter 1: Left to Die

It was raining hard at 10:35 PM.

A heavy steel pipe slammed across Jin’s ribs with a sickening crack. The air rushed out of his lungs in a sharp gasp, and before he could even scream, his face crashed into the freezing, wet asphalt of the Han River bridge.

He hadn't even heard the cars pulling up. Two sleek black sedans had blocked his cheap delivery scooter against the guardrail. Four massive men in dark corporate suits had dragged him off his bike, throwing him to the ground. They didn't want his wallet, and they didn't care about his scooter.

They were just here to finish the job Director Kang and Min-ah had started.

"Director Kang says hello," the lead thug muttered. His voice was completely flat as he brought a heavy leather boot down directly into Jin’s stomach.

Jin curled into a ball on the wet concrete, coughing up blood. As the relentless kicks rained down on his back and ribs, the physical pain was nothing compared to the burning humiliation tearing through his heart. He felt like a total fool.

For five long years, Jin had lived as a "live-in boyfriend" in Min-ah's home. He was twenty-nine years old, but he looked ten years older, wearing faded, hand-me-down clothes. In that household, he was less than a human. He was their unpaid servant. Every single day, he woke up at 5:00 AM to cook breakfast for her demanding mother, scrubbed the floors on his knees, and endured endless, biting insults. Her family openly called him a "useless, freeloading dog" who was lucky to even breathe the same air as Min-ah.

But Jin had swallowed all of it without a single complaint. He loved Min-ah. They were high school sweethearts, and he believed that if he just worked hard enough, he could give her a good life. He worked eighty-hour weeks as a low-level clerk at Cheonji Logistics, skipping lunches and wearing shoes with holes in them, just to pay off her family's debts and save up for an engagement ring.

Tonight, he had finally bought that ring. He was going to propose officially.

To impress his bosses and earn a promotion, Jin had stayed late at the office to finish a massive financial report for Director Kang. But while auditing the digital ledger, his screen refreshed. He accidentally uncovered a secret, three-billion-dollar international money laundering account—authorized directly by Director Kang's personal digital token.

Panicked and worried about the company's safety, Jin had run straight to the executive suite to report the fraud. He pushed the heavy mahogany door open without knocking—and his entire world shattered into pieces.

Min-ah was there.

His sweet, innocent girlfriend was wrapped tightly in Director Kang’s arms, her hands sliding up the chest of the director’s expensive silk suit.

When Jin stumbled backward in shock, the velvet ring box in his pocket felt like a block of ice. When he angrily confronted them, threatening to expose the fraud, Min-ah didn’t even look guilty. She didn't cry. She didn't run. Instead, she casually smoothed down her skirt, looked at Jin with utter disgust, and walked right up to him.

"Don't look at me like that, Jin," she sneered, her voice completely heartless. "Look at yourself. You’re a penniless, pathetic loser who will never amount to anything. Did you really think I’d spend the rest of my life in a cramped rental apartment eating cheap instant ramen with a useless nobody? Director Kang can give me the luxury life I actually deserve. You were just a stepping stone."

Five years of loyalty. Five years of washing her family's dirty laundry and scrubbing their toilets, and she was discarding him like a piece of garbage for a rich man’s wallet.

Director Kang let out a smug, low laugh, tossing a heavy, gold luxury watch onto the desk. "You just stole a priceless asset from the company, clerk. Take the fall for my secret bank ledger, go quietly to prison, and maybe I’ll make sure your family can afford groceries. Open your mouth about the accounts, and you won't survive the night."

Jin had tried to run to get help, but he hadn't even made it across the bridge before Kang’s thugs hunted him down.

"Search his coat," the lead thug ordered on the dark, rainy bridge.

Rough hands flipped Jin over, ripping his jacket pocket and pulling out his backup flash drive. The tall man dropped it onto the asphalt and stomped on it, crushing the data chips into worthless black dust. Then, he grabbed Director Kang’s gold watch and forced Jin's bloody fingers around it.

"Put the scooter close to him. Make it look like the useless thief committed suicide because he got caught stealing the watch. Let's go."

The heavy doors of the sedans slammed shut, and the cars sped away into the midnight dark, leaving Jin to bleed out alone in the freezing rain.

Jin lay on his back, staring up at the black sky as his vision started fading into a hazy, numbing gray.

Is this really how it ends? he thought, his fingers twitching weakly against the wet concrete. I gave them five years of my life. I let them treat me like dirt. And they set me up to die just so they could live in luxury?

Right next to his face, his cheap smartphone lay shattered, its battery punctured by the asphalt. Suddenly, a violent spark of blue electricity hissed out of the broken phone, shooting straight through the puddle of rain and blood, hitting Jin’s fingertips.

Instead of shocking him, a blinding wave of freezing energy surged up his arms and slammed directly into his stopped heart.

[ WARNING: MAXIMUM LIFE FAILURE DETECTED. ]

A voice echoed inside his head. It wasn't human. It was completely cold, sharp, and mechanical.

[ EMERGENCY LIFE-SUPPORT STARTING... SUCCESS. ]

[ HOST HEART FUNCTION IS ONLY AT 12%. ]

Jin’s eyes snapped wide open. All the agonizing pain in his ribs instantly vanished. The freezing rain falling from the sky completely stopped moving, hovering in mid-air like thousands of suspended glass beads.

Right in front of his eyes, the dark night was covered by a giant, glowing black screen filled with bright, crimson text.

[ SOVEREIGN AUDITOR SYSTEM: REBOOT COMPLETE. ]

[ CURRENT LIFESPAN REMAINING: 24:00:00 ]

Jin stared at the red numbers ticking down behind the frozen raindrops. The woman he loved had left him to die like a dog, but something cold, calculation-driven, and incredibly powerful had just taken over his body.

[ SYSTEM NOTE: THE WORLD IS IN DEBT. IT IS TIME TO AUDIT. ]
