Eleanor stood up from the cold cobblestones with a bright, relieved smile. She brushed the heavy dirt off her expensive business skirt.

"We must celebrate this new understanding. Let me call Camilla right now and invite you both to a luxurious dinner tomorrow." Eleanor pulled out her sleek cell phone eagerly.

"Do not bother." Dominic shoved his hands deep into his dark coat pockets. His mind flashed painfully to his wife's cold and totally indifferent eyes.

Eleanor dialed the number anyway and put it on loudspeaker. The line rang three times before Camilla finally answered.

"What do you want, Eleanor? I am extremely busy." Camilla sounded completely freezing and utterly annoyed.

"I was hoping to invite you and your husband, Dominic, to a beautiful dinner tomorrow night. I want to resolve our past corporate conflicts." Eleanor kept her tone overly sweet and polite.

"You want me to bring that useless loser to a public high-class restaurant? Do not make me laugh. He is nothing but cheap dirt." Camilla scoffed loudly through the tiny phone speaker.

"Oh. I thought it would be a nice, relaxing evening for the three of us." Eleanor glanced sideways at Dominic. She felt a sudden, massive surge of hidden delight.

"I am taking Sebastian to a private island resort tomorrow. Sebastian is a brilliant, wealthy man who deserves all my sweet kindness and affection. He is my first priority. Do not ever mention that garbage husband of mine again." Camilla hung up the phone aggressively.

Dominic felt a familiar heavy ache deep in his chest. His own wife treated him like a nasty disease while showering Sebastian with endless, absolute devotion.

"I am so incredibly sorry you had to hear that. Are there serious problems in your marriage?" Eleanor stepped much closer to him. Her greedy heart leaped with absolute joy.

"We are getting a divorce. She thinks I am entirely worthless." Dominic turned his head away to hide his deep, boiling frustration.

"That is terrible news for such an incredible man. Let me take you to a private VIP bar right now. You desperately need a strong drink." Eleanor touched his muscular arm very gently.

Dominic felt completely exhausted by the constant daily disrespect. He desperately needed to clear his clouded, angry mind that night.

"Fine. Lead the way." Dominic nodded once.

The loud bass music vibrated forcefully through the sticky floor of the crowded downtown club.

Eleanor slid into the circular red leather booth right next to Dominic.

"You are far too handsome to be treated so poorly by a blind, arrogant fool." Eleanor leaned her heavy head on his broad shoulder. Her warm breath smelled heavily of sweet, expensive rum.

"Drink your glass." Dominic gently pushed her away. He kept his dark eyes perfectly focused on the sticky wooden table.

"Do you not find me deeply attractive? I can treat you much better than she ever did. I would make you my absolute king." Eleanor ran a beautifully manicured finger down his strong arm. She giggled softly.

A massive shadow suddenly fell over their small, dimly lit table.

A tall, muscular man with thick, ugly neck tattoos smirked down at Eleanor. This was Marco.

"A gorgeous, perfect woman like you should not be sitting with absolute trash. Come dance with a real powerful man." Marco grabbed Eleanor by her thin, fragile wrist. He completely ignored Dominic's presence.

"Let go of me, you disgusting greasy pig." Eleanor yanked her arm back forcefully. Her pale cheeks were flushed bright red from the heavy alcohol.

"You dare insult me? You are drinking with a pathetic loser who looks like cheap street dirt. He probably cannot even afford the cheap tap water in this garbage place." Marco let out a harsh, cruel laugh. His thick, dirty fingers grabbed her waist tightly.

"Do you have any idea exactly who I am? I am the rich CEO of a massive corporate empire. I will have you thrown in a dark jail cell." Eleanor glared directly at his ugly face. She slapped his thick hand away violently.

"I do not care about your stupid little fake company. My older brother is Enzo. He runs the entire dangerous downtown mafia syndicate." Marco pulled her violently out of the soft leather booth.

Eleanor went completely pale, and her entire body began to shake uncontrollably. The alcohol suddenly vanished from her terrified, racing system. The downtown mafia was incredibly ruthless and bathed in pure daily violence.

"Please let me go. I am so incredibly sorry." Eleanor trembled visibly. She knew Enzo would destroy her perfect, wealthy life without a single second thought.

"You are coming home with me tonight. We are going to have a lot of fun. This piece of smelly garbage can watch if he wants." Marco sneered deeply at Dominic. He spat a thick glob of saliva onto the wooden floor near Dominic's clean shoes.

"Take your filthy, disgusting hands off her right now." Dominic slowly stood up from the leather booth. His dark eyes were completely dead and dangerously empty.

"What are you going to do about it, you worthless, pathetic loser? You look like a weak little rat begging for a block of cheese. I will smash your ugly face into the floor." Marco dropped Eleanor and swung a heavy fist directly at Dominic.

Dominic moved faster than a striking desert snake. He caught the massive flying fist with one bare hand.

The horrific sound of breaking bones echoed loudly over the pulsing club music.

Marco screamed in absolute, blinding agony and fell backward.

Dominic twisted the broken wrist completely backward and kicked the huge thug directly in the kneecap.

The thick bone shattered instantly.

"You broke my arm!" Marco sobbed loudly on the filthy ground. He rolled around in spilled sticky beer and sharp, broken glass.

"I warned you to let her go." Dominic wiped his clean hands on a small, square paper napkin. He looked down at the crying thug like he was a completely annoying insect.

The heavy metal front doors of the nightclub smashed open incredibly loudly.

Ten massive, angry men in dark custom suits stormed violently into the large room.

"Who dared to touch my little brother?" Enzo roared like a wild, angry beast.

The entire crowded bar went completely silent in pure, total terror.

The DJ immediately stopped the loud music.

"He broke my bones! That dirty loser over there snapped my arm in half!" Marco pointed a shaking, dirty finger directly at Dominic.

"You are completely dead. You are nothing but useless dirt. I will chop you into tiny pieces and feed your bloody remains to the stray street dogs." Enzo pulled a heavy, thick metal pipe from his dark winter coat. His scarred face twisted into pure murderous rage.

"Look at this pathetic garbage. He does not even belong in a nice place like this. He looks like a homeless begging loser." One of the tall mafia guards laughed cruelly. He cracked his large knuckles loudly.

Eleanor hid directly behind Dominic's tall, broad back. She sobbed quietly in pure, absolute fear. Everyone in the quiet club knew Dominic was doomed to die a horrific, bloody death that night.

Dominic did not even blink at the massive deadly weapon.

He reached slowly into his pocket and pulled out his expensive custom phone.

He dialed a single secret secure number.

The line connected almost instantly.

Dominic spoke two quiet, authoritative words into the receiver.

He then walked completely calmly toward the furious, dangerous mafia boss.

"Here." Dominic held the glowing phone out directly toward Enzo. "It is for you."
